KEAM 2023: Counselling (Started), Score Card, Merit List, Schedule, Admission Process

KEAM 2023 3rd Round Allotment List has been Released on 3rd September 2023. 3rd Option Registration has been Started on 23rd August 2023. Counselling Registration has been Started on 20th July 2023. The result/Score Card has been Declared on 1st June 2023. The Examination was held on 17th May 2023. Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Exam 2023 is an entry-level exam. It is conducted in the state of Kerala. CEE will conduct this exam. This exam will allow candidates to join different institutes in Kerala. 

Selected candidates will be allowed to choose courses in Engineering and Pharmacy. KEAM 2023 would be an offline pen-and-paper exam. The selected candidates would be allotted colleges online on the official website. 

Candidates wishing to apply should start to prepare for the examination on time, and the application process for KEAM 2023 has been begin on 17th March 2023. All the notifications will be released on the official website, and all the other details related to KEAM 2023 are given below. 

KEAM 2023 Notification – Counselling Started 

• The application form will be released online only. 
• The start date to submit the application form is on 17th March 2023. 
• The last date to submit the application form will be 10th April 2023. 
• Multiple forms by one applicant are not allowed.
• Upload all your documents with care without any discrepancies.
• Fill in all your information very carefully and avoid any mistakes. 
• Fill in your details like Name, Date of birth, and address carefully. 
• Upload all your required documents very carefully and in the prescribed format only. 
• After the application forms are submitted, no modifications or changes would be allowed. 
• Note down your registration number, User ID, and Password. 
• You can also take the printout of the application form.  
• All the candidates have to send the printout of the filled application form along with the relevant documents to the following address: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001

Steps for Registration for KEAM 2023 

• Go to the official website and click the link above to register for KEAM 2023.
• Click on the declaration check box.
• Now you can start to register for the exam.
• You need to register online only by entering the details.
• After entering the details, you have to click on the “Register” button.
• Make sure to verify that the registration details provided by you are correct.
• If you need to edit any detail in the Registration form, press the “Edit” button and after all the changes, click on the “Confirm” button.
• After you click on the Confirm button, you will get their Application Number.
• Keep it secure, as it will be required for future login.
• Press the “Proceed to fill form” button to proceed to the next step.

Steps to Fill the Application Form

• After registering, you can fill out the application form on the official website.
• Enter your Course Details.
• Select the Course for which you wish to apply for.
• Candidates can choose more than one course in the KEAM Application Form. 
• Select the Examination Centre of Engineering / Pharmacy Courses from the drop-down menu.
• Remember that you cannot change the exam centre at a later stage, so choose carefully.
• If candidates have selected a medical course, you must provide your NEET UG 2023 Application Number.
• Finally, press the “Save & Proceed” button.

Documents Required to Fill Application Form for KEAM 2023

• Class 10th and 12th Marksheet
• Scanned image of the candidate’s photograph
• Scanned image of the candidate’s signature

KEAM 2023 Application Fee

After filling out the application form, you will have to pay for the application set by the conduction authority. The fee is different as per different categories. The candidates who belong to the ST category are exempted from the application fee, and the candidates who will choose Dubai as an exam centre will be required to pay Rs. 12000/- additional.

KEAM 2023 Application Form Correction 

KEAM 2023 Application form would be available to the candidates on the official website. Candidates who would like to edit their application form or correct some mistakes can do that online on the official website only.

KEAM 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The conduction authority sets eligibility criteria, and all the candidates who are willing to give the exam should fit those eligibility criteria. If the candidates do not fit the eligibility criteria, their application form would be cancelled. All the other information related to KEAM 2023 Eligibility criteria is given below:

Nationality 

Candidates applying for KEAM 2023 should be Indian only, and PIO/OCI would also be considered as Indians for this exam. 

Age Limit 

• A candidate should be at least 17 years as of 31st December 2023.
• The upper age for medical and allied courses will follow the NEET (UG) 2023 notification.

Education Qualification 

For MBBS, BDS, and BSMS courses        

• The applicant should have passed the higher secondary exam in Kerala or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology and a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology combined.
• The applying candidates must also have a valid NEET 2023 score.

For BAMS/ BHMS/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri./ B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry/ B.F.Sc. courses

• The candidate must have passed the higher secondary exam, Kerala or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% marks in biology and 50% marks combined in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

For B.V.Sc & AH courses:

• The candidate must have passed HSC, Kerala or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in PCB and English subjects.

For BUMS course:

• For BUMS, the candidate must have passed HSC, Kerala or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in Biology and 50% marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.
• In addition to this, the candidates should have studied Urdu/Arabic/Persian as a subject at class 10th level or passed the Urdu entrance exam conducted by a recognized university/board/registered society

For Architecture Courses:

• The candidates have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam with mathematics as a subject and at least 50% marks can apply.
• Students with a 10+3 diploma in any stream with 50% marks and Mathematics as a subject can also apply.
• Candidates having an IB Diploma after 10 years of schooling with at least 50% marks and Mathematics as a subject can also apply.
• Along with these qualifications, every candidate must also have a valid NATA 2023 score.

For B.Pharma courses:

• The applicants having passed HSC, Kerala or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics combined and Biology/Mathematics alone can also apply.

For Engineering Courses:

• The applicant must have passed HSC, Kerala or equivalent exam with 50% marks in Maths and at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology subject (40% for management quota seats in private colleges)

KEAM 2023 Admit card

All the candidates who filled out the application form will get their KEAM 2023 Admit Card on the official website only. You will have to enter your application number and date of birth to download your admit card.

Make sure to print the admit card and take it with you to the exam centre. The candidates who will not have the admit card would not be allowed to give the exam. And the candidates who will not get their admit card would not be allowed for the exam as well. 

KEAM 2023 Answer Key 

The conducting body releases the answer key to ensure students can estimate their scores. The answer key for KEAM 2023 will be released after sometime after the exam on the official website of CEE. It will be released for papers 1 and paper 2. All the candidates are advised to keep themselves updated by checking the official website to avoid missing any information. 

KEAM 2023 Result 

The result of KEAM 2023 would be announced on the official website only. It will be announced after some days of exams. B.Pharm Merit List

The Chemistry score obtained from the Paper-I of KEAM is multiplied by 2.25 and added to the Physics score obtained from the Paper-I of the KEAM.

Architecture Merit List

The merit list for the architecture course will be prepared by providing equal weightage to marks obtained in (NATA) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Medical Merit List

Merit list for medical courses will be prepared based on rank obtained in NEET-UG 2023 subject to the Nativity circumstances and also subject to the qualifying criteria.

KEAM 2023 Counselling 

The KEAM 2023 Counselling session will be done online by the Single Window System. All the candidates who would be selected will have to fill their desired course and college. And along with that, they would have to get their documents verified as well.

• Community certificate(SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorised authority
