KGMU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Sc Nursing

• The minimum qualifications for admission are following up-to-date INC parameter
• 10+2 with 45% marks in science (PCBE) from any known board. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English)
• Applicants are too qualified from State Open Schools familiar with the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS), which the central government only recognises for Science subjects and English.
• 5% of the total marks is lessened for SC/ST aspirants.
• Any other reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
• Registration will be encompassed in the seats certified and not exceeding it.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2024.

For M.Sc Nursing

The aspirant must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

The minimum education requirements intend to be the issuing of a B.Sc Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

• The aspirant would have undertaken B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing in an Institution which the Indian Nursing Council knows.
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• Minimum one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• A 5% lessening of marks for SC/ST aspirants possibly will be given.
• M.Sc Nursing Admission in the College of Nursing KGMU, Lucknow and the following Nursing Colleges, which are associated with the University, will be completed through the Entrance examination planned to be held on by the timetable at Lucknow.
• Institute of Nursing, KGMU, Lucknow.
• Vivekanand College of Nursing, Lucknow.
• Hind College of Nursing, Lucknow.

For DH/DM 

• Passed 10+2 or two years Intermediate or equivalent course with Science subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from a recognized Indian University or Pre University/ Intermediate Board.
• It is considered 17 years at admission or within three months and must be medically suitable for admission.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 Years on or before 1st December-2024.

KGMU 2024 Exam Pattern

KGMU will announce the exam syllabus and pattern on its website, and it is suggested to go to the website and check them both. Through patterns, students will become acquainted with the information about the exam and prepare accordingly.
