KIITEE 2018 Result for LLM PI programme has been declared on 13th June 2018. KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) is a University which takes its own entrance examination. This exam is known as KIITEE- Kalinga Institute of  Industrial Technology Entrance Exam. The University conducts entrance exam: mid-April-end of April. The entrance exam is Online.

The University has two programs: B.Tech  (4 years) and B.Tech+M.Tech ( 5 years) that is dual degree.

It gives the admission in UG and PG engineering courses along with BBA, BCA, MCA. KIITEE exam provides admission to all of the above-mentioned courses. KIITEE 2018 Admit Card will be available on 1st April 2018.

Important Dates for KIITEE 2018

KIITEE important dates include all the event related to KIITEE admission procedure. This section covers all the events and related dates to it.

KIITEE 2018 result will be published online on the official website of KIIT on 26th April 2018.KIITEE result will be published online on the official website of KIIT on 5th May 2018 After the result is declared the applicants can see their rank obtained by them in the entrance exam. The Frist result is provisional which is provided by the university and after that, a final list is provided. Both the list by KIITEE University is released separately.

Applicants who score the minimum cut-off marks are eligible for the counselling process by KIITEE university.
The result can be checked online. To check the result online the applicants have to enter their application number and date of birth. After entering these details, the applicant will be able to download the result in the form of pdf.
Applicants can regularly check the official website during the provided tentative dates and download the result.

Counseling for KIITEE

KIITEE Counselling is generally conducted in the mid-May. Counseling will be held on 10th May 2018.
Applicants who gave the entrance exam are supposed to attend the counseling process. The counseling process is for B.Tech and dual degree program available in KIT University.

Counseling will be held from 10th May 2018 as per the courses.

Application form for KIITEE

Application forms for KIITEE releases in the first week of December in this year-2018. These forms are in Online mode. Applicants can fill this form of KIITEE 2018 until 31st March 2018.

Applicants must send these application forms by post by the last week of March 2018. In the application form, the applicants need to fill the personal details, educational background and contact details etc.

The applicants do not have to pay any application fee for appearing in KIITEE 2018.

Following are the steps to fill the application form for KIITEE 2018:

  • The KIITEE 2018 Application Form for management programme was available through online mode.
  • The application form remains open until 31st March 2018.
  • Candidates are required to fill the application form correctly and submit it.

Admit Card of KIITEE 2018

Applicants who fill their application form completely and booked their slot successfully. They can download the admit card online from the official website of KIITEE.  The admit card can be downloaded in the form of pdf.

After the complete download, the applicants must check the details on the admit card. This Admit card must be preserved until the admission procedure is over.

Applicants should carry their Admit card to the examination center. They should also carry their identity proof with the admit card. Without Admit card applicants are not allowed to enter the examination hall.

Admit cards are not sent in hard copy to any of the applicants. The slot booking for KIITEE starts in the first week of April 2018.


Eligibility Criteria for KIITEE 2018

Eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2018 are the essential requirements for the applicants to be eligible for taking admission in the engineering course provided by the KIITEE. These eligibility criteria are also important to give the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria include educational background and age criteria, the number of attempts, marks and percentage in the qualifying exam, etc.

Eligibility criteria should be considered by only those applicants who want to appear for KIITEE 2018.

Eligibility criteria for different programs in KIITEE are mentioned below:

KIITEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Programmes

  • Applicants applying for B.Tech programmes must have passed class XII or equivalent exams in 2015, 2016.
  • The applicants appearing for class XII or equivalent in 2018 will also be considered eligible for KIITEE 2018.
  • They must have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in all subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

KIITEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria for Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) Programmes

  • Applicants applying for dual degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) programmes must have passed class XII with minimum aggregate marks of 60% in all subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The aspiring applicants for KIITEE must be born on or after July 1, 1996.
  • Their class XII education is required to be regular full-time one.

For B.Tech (Dual Degree), must have passed the 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology subjects with at least 60% marks.
Must have born on or after 01 July 1996.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
Candidates should have born on or after 01 July 1993.
B.Tech in Architecture Pass in the 12th exam with mathematics subjects securing minimum 60% marks.
Pass in NATA exam.
Must have born on or after 01 July 1996.
 MBA Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA).
BBA 12th pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
Should have any one of the subjects Mathematics /Business   Mathematics / Economics/ Statistics at 10+2 level.
Must have born on or after 01 July 1996.
BCA 12th pass from any stream with at least 50% marks and should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Must have born on or after 01 July 1996.
M.Tech (Lateral Entry) BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in respective branches of Engineering.
First class MCA/ M.Sc in (Comp/IT/ETC).
MCA/ MCA (Lateral Entry) Any graduate with at least 50% marks and should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
Should have born on or after 01 July 1993.

Exam Pattern for KIITEE

KIITEE exam pattern tells about how the entrance exam paper will be. The entrance exam paper will have 3 sections. These sections are –

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Entrance Exam will be conducted in 3 hours. 3 hours are equal to 180 minutes. KIITEE exam will be of total 480 marks.

All the Questions will be of Multiple choices (MCQs). The question paper will be asked in the English Language.

Marking scheme of KIITEE entrance exam is like awarding 4 marks for every correct answer and deducting 1 mark for every incorrect answer.

Note that this entrance exam has negative marking.

Cut off for KIITEE

Cut off is the minimum marks a student needs to achieve to clear the entrance exam. This cut-off marks depends on the highest score in the particular exam. This exam will also have a cutoff.

Cut off will be mentioned when the result will be mentioned. Applicants need to check if they achieved the cut off so that they can appear for further admission process.

Application fee

The applicants do not need to pay any money for entrance exam by KIT. There is NO application fee.
