KSET is referred to as the Karnataka State Eligibility Test which is organized by the Government of Karnataka to ensure that teaching standards are maintained for courses taught at the Higher Secondary level in the state of Karnataka.

Candidates have to give the KSET 2024 exam to be appointed as Higher Secondary School Teachers as well as Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 is set to be governed every year for enrolling in Lecturer and Assistant Professorship 2024. This article specified the detailed exam information.

KSET Exam Pattern 2024 

KSET 2024 Entrance Exam will be held on the 2nd week of April 2024. KSET 2024 Entrance Exam is divided into two papers which are of two hours duration each.

The question will be in objective type multiple choice questions asked in the KSET 2024 Examination.

• KSET 2024 exam pattern is such that the test is divided into two papers which are of two hours duration each.
• Both the KSET papers comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions.

KSET 2024 Exam Pattern

Paper I 

• Paper I shall be Consist of 50 Complusory question.
• Each question carrying 2 marks.
• The Duration of the Exam is 1 hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am).
• The questions which will be of general nature, are intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
• It will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.

Paper-II

• Paper-II shall be Consist of 100 Compulsory questions.
• Each question carrying 2 marks.
• The Duration of the Exam is 2 hours (11:00 am to 1:00 pm).

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I and Paper-II on the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.

KSET 2024 Marking Scheme

• For every correct answer in both, Paper I and Paper II, aspirants will be awarded two marks.
• There is no negative marking in KSET 2024 Exam.
