Lingraj Panda IAS Interview Rank 38 CSE 2014
Lingraj Panda IAS had secured rank 312 in his last year attempt of 2013 but by this attempt, he managed to secure rank 38. It was his childhood dream to be a civil service officer and finally it came true.
On his extraordinary achievement he got felicitated with Prativa Samman 2015 at SAMAROHA-2015 held in Odisha.
When he got the news of his success in UPSC CSE exam he was at his grandmother’s funeral at Swargdwar in Puri. So while he got joy at the same time he was sad for the reason he was not able to share his success with his grandmother.

Lingraj Panda is from Cuttack district, Balisahi in Nuapara area.
He is presently working as the , Income Tax, in Nagpur.
This time, for the preliminary exam about 4.51 lakhs aspirants had appeared. Out of them, 16,933 cleared prelims.The chief minister said the state government would soon come out with a package to encourage UPSC aspirants from Odisha.
His home state is his preference to work for.

In 2013 when Lingraj Panda secured AIR 312 his optional paper was Sociology; where for Paper I he scored 103 marks for Paper II he got 91 marks. While he improved it in as getting 144 marks in paper I of sociology and the 141 marks in second paper.
