The National Entrance and Scholarship Tests, known by NEST is proposed by Lovely Professional University(LPU) each year a university level entrance test.The aspirants will enroll in LPU for admission in Engineering, Management, Law, Design, Agriculture, Hotel Management and several programs. Those who are highly competent and skilled will be entitled scholarship.

The applying students will require to fill up the application form and meet several criteria for taking admission in desired courses. This test is held every year across the country and is attempted by more than three lakhs aspirants. Admission is provided in total 14 disciplines in the field of Engineering. The entrance test is held twice in a year in January and April.

LPU NEST 2020 Application Form 

Aspirants may complete and present the application form in both online and offline ways.

• Those who long for appearing in LPU NEST 2020 exam will have to apply for the registration as per instructions.
• The students may fill the form by going to its official page
• Fill the details which are of central importance for application including all personal and academic information to access the registration no and password.
• The registration will come up on various dates for all courses accepted by LPU.
• While application, they need to mention the exam center and fill the option for the online exam.
• The application will no complete the payment of a fee.

Application Fee

• The application fee will be submitted by online through (Debit/credit card, net banking or through demand draft).
• The application fee is kept RS. 700 for all sections.
• The Demand Draft will be accepted by Lovely Professional University paid at Jalandhar.

DD pays the application fee; the aspirants will dispatch the filled form with DD to the address

• For Online Application Fee – Rs.500 ( Boys); Rs.250 (Girls)
• For Offline Application Fee – Rs.500 for both girls and boys.

Mode of Payment: Candidate can pay the application fee online via credit card/debit card/ net banking. And for offline mode, a candidate can pay the fee via cash/Cheque and the demand draft.

LPU NEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech

• The applying candidates must be Indian
• Those who have completed their 12th examinations from any reputed board with Physics, Mathematics & English subjects with a minimum 60% will be eligible for admission into LPUU.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent examination from recognized board or university.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have obtained 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 level.
• Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have passed the 12^th level with Physics, Maths and English as the main subjects.

For Law

• Those candidates who have completed their graduation from any course with 50% in total with 30 years of age will be taken in to account.
• For BA LL.B.(Hons.), B.Com. LL.B.(Hons.) & BBA LL.B. (Hons.) and those who are reserved ones will have age moderations.
• The students who have done 12^th from the subject English will be able to get admission into their selected course. The reserved ones will be given age moderations.

For MBA

Those clearing their graduation or doing their graduation from any reputed college or university will be eligible for admission.Aspirants should obtain minimum 60% marks in their graduation will be considered.

• qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or its equivalent examination from recognized board or university.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree.
• Scorecard: Must have secured 80 percentile in CAT/XAT/LPU NEST and 85 percentile in CMAT/MAT or GMAT.

For M.Tech Programme:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed B.E. or B.Tech. Or B. Arch. or B.Planor its equivalent examination from recognized board or university.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have obtained 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

LPU NEST 2020 Exam Pattern 

For MBA: 

Exam mode: the exam will be in online mode only.
Exam duration: the total duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
Type of questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked during the exam.
A number of questions: a total of 100 questions will be formulated.
Negative marking: there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers or unanswered questions.

Exam Pattern for MBA

For B.Tech

• The exam will continue for 150 minutes
• The exam will be online-based
• There will include objective questions in the exams.
• There will be 110 questions in the exam.
• No negative marking has been specified in the exam.

For B.Tech

• The exam will continue for 150 minutes in an online way(CBT)
• The mode of questions will be objective
• There will be total of 110 questions in the exam.
• No negative marking has been specified in the exam.

For Law

• The exam will be finished in 120 minutes
• The exam will be held by the online process(CBT)
• Only Objective or Multiple Type Questions will appear in the exam.
• The total number of questions will be 80
• The exam will not specify any negative marking in the exam.

LPU NEST 2020 Syllabus

• For MBA, the questions will get asked from English, General Awareness and General Aptitude.
• For B.tech, the whole curriculum will be set by 12^th including subjects like Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics/Biology.
• For Law, there will be topics on Quantitative and Logical Aptitude, Legal Reasoning.

LPU NEST 2020 Slot Booking

After the registration process, the slot booking of LPU NEST 2020 will start. The slot booking of LPU NEST 2020 for Schedule I will start from the first week Of December 2019 and for Schedule II in the last week of March 2020.

LPU NEST 2020 Admit Card

The LPU NEST 2020 Hall Ticket/Admit Card will need to be collected from the website of LPU. The official page will display the link to get admit card for a limited period.

• You will require giving the sufficient details for downloading the admit card such as registration no and password.
• The aspirants will be able to initialize the admit card on the condition to provide all details in the correct format. After downloading the admit card, keep its Xerox copy for exam time.
• The LPU NEST 2020 admit card will show the most important details namely aspirant’s name, date of birth, exam timing, and venue in printed form.
• There will be a necessity to hold admit card when appearing for the exam as there is no other way to attend the exam.

LPU NEST 2020 Result

The aspirants giving exam most efficiently will have their eyes set on result.

• The result for LPU NEST 2020 will be taken by students by online at the website. For that purpose, they need to submit roll no and date of birth.
• Attending counseling requires a substantial copy of result for its authentication. It must be ensured to get the print out of scorecard after downloading it.
• The LPU will have an authority to produce the cut off varying streams. There will be a separate cut off for an individual course.
• Post the announcement of the result; the students will access the merit list which will be score-based.
• The rank list appeared on the official page will represent the passing scores of students, their ranks, and many other details.

LPU NEST 2020 Cut Off

LPU NEST 2020 Cut Off is the minimum marks a candidate must score in the entrance test to be eligible for the admission into the University. Also, the scholarship will be awarded to the students who will score more than or equal to the cutoff marks.

LPU NEST 2020 Counselling

Once the result is made known to all appeared students, the university will come off as counseling procedures for those qualified for the exam.
