MAHA TET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Marks: The applicants who want to apply for the eligibility test must have secured a minimum of 45 % marks (for reserved category applicants) to 50 % marks (for general category applicants) in the qualifying exam.
  • Number of Attempts: The applicants can apply for the entrance exam any time they want to increase their scores if they have appeared before.
  • Appearing applicants: The applicants who are appearing for the final year of the degree are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Primary level (class 1st to class 5th) 

  • Educational Qualification: The applicants must have passed intermediate (Class 12th) and a diploma in Elementary Education (D. Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. Ed.) from a recognized university or institution.
  • Appearing applicants: The applicants who are applying for the final year in the D. Ed. or B. Ed. course from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary level (class 6th to class 8th)

  • Educational Qualification: The applicants must have passed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (BA, B. Sc., B. Tech, BE, BBA, B. Com or any other equivalent) or Diploma in Teacher Education (D. Ed.) or must be a Graduate in Teacher Education (B. Ed.) from a recognized university or institution.
  • Appearing applicants: The applicants who are applying for the final year in the D. Ed. or B. Ed. course from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

MAHA TET 2021 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: The applicants need to appear for the entrance exam in offline mode (written test pen and paper-based)
