MCAER PG CET 2024 Application Form has been Released on 1st February 2024. The Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research Post-Graduate Common Entrance Test, known in short as MCAER PG CET/ MCAER CET, is a State Level entrance examination.

This exam is conducted once a year by the Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB). Admission will be provided into postgraduate courses in the agriculture field, such as Horticulture, Forestry, Food Technology, Post-Harvest Management, etc.

• The online Application form and the information brochure can be obtained on the official portal (http://www.mcaer.org/). 
• The MCAER PG CET 2024 Application Form has been available.
• Submit the fill-up application form before the due date last week of March 2024. 
• Eligible candidates must write the information carefully, including the candidate’s personal, education & communication details, etc.
• Upload the scanned copy of the passport size colour photograph and signature in (35 K.B. and 30 K.B., respectively) to complete the form of MCAER PG CET 2024 in JPEG format. 

Application Fees

The MCAER PG CET 2024 Application fees are Rs 800/- for Male/Transgender (General/O.B.C.)/ Female Candidates/Physically disabled/ other State Candidates and Rs 600/- for SC/ST category.

• The amount can be submitted online via (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking) or offline through (Bank Challan).

MCAER PG CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding MCAER PG CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

• Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply. 
• Qualification details:  For M.Sc. (Agriculture)- Candidates who hold the B. Sc. (Agriculture), B. Sc. (Hort.), B. Sc. (Forestry), B. Tech. (Food Science / Tech.), B. Sc. (Agriculture Biotechnology), B.B.M. (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (A.B.M.), B. Tech. (Agriculture Engg.), B. Sc. (Hon.) Home Science of Agriculture, the university only, and passed C.E.T. are eligible to apply.
• For M.F.Sc.– candidates who passed the B.F.Sc. and passed C.E.T. are eligible.
• For M.Sc. (Hort.)- to apply, candidates need to pass B. Sc. (Agriculture), B. Sc. (Hort.), and B. Sc. (Forestry) of Agriculture University only & pass C.E.T. can apply.
• For M.Sc. (Forestry)- the applicant needs to hold a B. Sc. (Agriculture), or B. Sc. (Forestry), B. Sc. (Hort.) of Agriculture & passing C.E.T. can apply.
• For M.Sc. (Home Science)- Applier must hold B.Sc. (Hon.) Home Science of Agriculture University only & complete C.E.T.
• For M.Sc. (Agril. Biotechnology)-  Applier hold B. Sc. (Agriculture Biotechnology), B. Sc. (Forestry), B. Sc. (Agriculture), B. Sc. (Hort.), B. Tech. (Food Sc./Tech.) of Agriculture University only, B.F.Sc. & complete C.E.T. can apply.
• For M.Tech. (Food Tech.)- B. Tech. (Food Sc./Tech.) of Agril. The university completed and passed the C.E.T. exam can only apply. 
• Candidates who want to apply to offer various courses must check the information brochure and especially the criteria section, which is available on the official portal in PDF format.

How to Apply

Here we have mentioned the complete procedure to apply for MCAER PG CET 2024 Application Form: 

• Candidates will be given admission based on merit formulated by considering 70% weightage of the MCAER PG CET 2024 exam and 30% of the CGPA of the applier.
• Appliers wantingants to pursue offer Postgraduate (P.G.) courses must satisfy of MCAER PG CET  eligibility criteria 2024. 
• On the official website at http://www.mcaer.org/, candidates wishing to enter postgraduate courses in agriculture can fill out the MCAER PG CET 2024 application form online. 
• Candidates need to register on the website and create an MCAER log-in I.D.; after that, fill up the information.
• Write the information in an application,, for example, the Name of candidates, birth date, parent name, category, qualification details, email I.D., contact number, mark sheet, correct address, and choice of preferred exam centres in order of preference, etc. 
• Ensure to provide the documents and a soft copy of the photograph and signature.
• The registration process of MCAER PG CET 2024 will be considered complete only after the submission of payment of fees, don’t forget to take a printout of it for future reference.
