Meghalaya MBBS/BDS Admission 2024 Merit List will be Released; the 1st Round of Offline Counselling will be held in 1st week of August August 2024. will be commenced in June after completion of the 15% AQI counselling. Meghalaya NEET counselling 2024 will be conducted by the NEIGRI of Health and Medical Sciences, Shillong. Admission will be provided for MBBS and BDS courses based on NEET Score.

After completing the 15% All India Quota counselling, the Meghalaya NEET Counselling will start in June. The counselling will be done for 85% of state quota seats.

Candidates seeking admission can get admission in the medical and dental state government colleges and private colleges based on NEET Score 2024.

Meghalaya NEET Counselling 2024

The counselling authority will publish the NEET 2024 merit list for the qualified candidates along with the results of counselling. The eligible candidates have to register on the website, and they have to pay the counselling fee.

The counselling will be conducted offline mode. The counselling process is done to select the candidate for seat allotment. To conduct the counselling rounds, the names of the candidates selected for the seat allotment will be announced through the official website.

The seat allotment is purely based on the rank obtained by the candidates; the final seats will be allotted to the candidates after the verification of documents.

Admission Process for Meghalaya NEET Counselling 2024

• The eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process according to the merit list. The candidates invited for the counselling will be displayed on the website.
• Candidates must be present in person for the counselling process, and the candidates are needed to fill the college and course choices.
• Seats are allotted to the candidates as per the rank secured by the candidates and the choice preferences filled by the candidates.
• The candidates must report to the allotted colleges before the last admission date.
• The candidates must pay the admission fees to confirm their seats and admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya NEET Counselling 2024:

• Candidates must be the domicile of the Meghalaya state.
• They must have cleared the 12^th class from any recognized university, the board of authority in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
• The candidate must qualify for the NEET UG 2024.
• The child of employees of the central government, All India Services, and other state/UT governments posted in and headquartered within Meghalaya will be eligible to apply.
• The minimum age limit is 17 years, and the maximum is 25 years as of 31^st December of the year of admission. The SC/ST category candidate will get a relaxation of 5 years.

Reservation Criteria for Meghalaya NEET Counselling 2024

The seat reservation for various categories in the medical and dental colleges within the state is set by the state government.

The candidates receive reservation benefits by producing the relevant documents during counselling. Without producing the document, candidates cannot claim the reservation.

These documents must be produced during counselling for verification; the candidates should carry the original documents and 1 set of photocopies.
