How to Prepare for MHCET

  • Study your textbooks so well that you should know almost each word by heart (don’t rote learn)
  • Solve a lot of problems from books. There are many publications who publish standard books for MHT-CET preparation.
  • Solve papers to understand your strong & weak points and strategies accordingly.
  • Try to formulate tricks for the particular type of questions which you find time-consuming because MHT-CET is a test of your speed as well.
  • The first thing I noticed about CET was that most of the paper or you could say the whole paper was entirely based on Text Books.
  • Now you have two and half months to prepare for it. You must have just given your board exams (assuming you’re not a repeater) so you must be acquainted with the state board syllabus and textbooks and even if you’re a repeater, you must have studied these subjects.
  • Don’t be pressurized. Just study the way you feel comfortable. If your grasping power is good, then you can study only 5-6 hours daily. Don’t time yourself according to what others tell you. If one tells you to study 10-15 hours a day, then you sometimes feel that you are not giving enough time to your studies.
  • Just refer to HSC textbooks. Most of the questions are asked from the book only(theory). For numerical you can refer previous year issues to get an idea and get some reference books like target publications
  • MH CET  is one of the easiest exams as compared to AIPMT, AIIMS, COMEDK, etc. So chances are more if you give your 100%.
