MH CET Law 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria given below to become eligible to apply for the exam.

  • Nationality: Applying candidates must hold Indian citizenship.
  • Age Limit: There is no maximum age limit to appear in both the law exams.
  • Five years of LLB course: Candidate must pass the SSC/HSC or equivalent exam from a recognized university of Maharashtra or any other outside state with 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
  • Three years of LLB course: Candidate should have graduate or postgraduate degree in any stream from any recognized university of Maharashtra or India with minimum 45% (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
  • Appearing Candidates: Final year candidates can also apply.

Note: Candidates who belong to the outside Maharashtra state will be eligible to apply in Open Category candidates irrespective of the caste/category.

  • Go to the official website (link will be given above).
  • Click on ‘Apply Online.’
  • Select the ‘Click here for new registration’ tab.
  • Enter email Id, mobile number, and password. Keep them safe for future login.
  • Fill in the details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, caste, qualifying exam marks, etc.
  • Once the details are filled, it cannot be modified later on.
  • Click on the ‘Save and Next’ button.
  • Review the filled details and click on ‘final submit.’
  • Validate the filled entries and click on ‘‘Validate your Details’ and ‘Save and Exit’ button.
  • Click on the ‘continue’ button to pay the application fee.
  • Click on the ‘Payment’ button, select the payment mode and pay the fee.

  • Click on ‘Click here to Upload Photograph/Upload Signature’ link and choose the file option to select images and click on the ‘Upload’ button.
  • On successful submission of Application Form and fee, take the printout of the Application Form.
