MH CET Law 2020 Registration

Candidates need to get registered for their application that Candidates have to fill the MH CET Law application form online on the official website of the MHCET law entrance exam. Fill in apply for the due dates as mentioned.

Candidates are advised to download the information brochure and read it carefully before starting the MH CET Law 2020 registration:

  • Candidates are firstly required to register
  • MH CET Law 2020 Registration has been started from 21st January 2020 for a 5 yrs Course.
  • MH CET Law 2020 Application form for three years course has been available for the candidates on the 19th March 2020 and for five years course on 20th January 2020.
  • The last date to fill the application form for three years course will be till 8th June 2020 and for five years course till the 8th of June 2020.
  • Candidates have to enter a valid mobile number and email for further communication purposes.
  • After filling the form and paying the fees, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

Application Fee:

MHCET Law Application Fee for General category candidates from Maharashtra State and J & K migrant candidates is Rs 800/-, for Outside Maharashtra State Candidates is Rs 800/- and for Reserved category candidates from the state of Maharashtra (ST, SC, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-1 (B), NT-2 (C), NT-3 (D), OBC and SBC) is Rs 400.

The application fee for MH-CET for law admission can be paid through online mode. Through online methods such as Credit Card/Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/Maestro/Master Card), IMPSCash CardsMobile Wallets, or Net-Banking.

MH CET Law 2021

The MH CET Law 2021 Examination is conducted through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra to offer admission to the applicants in the 5-year integrated program in 53 cities of different states offering seats into 22 participating institutes of MH CET Law. The MH CET Law 2021 Application Form will be available from the last week of January till the 4th week of March 2021.

MH CET Law 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must check the Eligibility Criteria pf the MH CET law entrance exam. To apply Candidates should be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply for MH CET Law.

Candidates have to fulfill all the below-mentioned Eligibility Criteria to get admission in five-year integrated law programs offered in government law colleges in the state of Maharashtra check whether you are eligible to apply for it or not

Candidates can apply after satisfying the given below eligibility criteria including nationality, residential, and qualification:

  • Nationality: A candidate should be an Indian national.
  • Domicile: Candidate should have the house of Maharashtra Candidate studied from Maharashtra state, or their parents are employed in the country are also eligible to apply. Or candidates whose parents belong to Maharashtra can also use it.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Indian national candidates can apply.
  • International Applicants: Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI or NRI candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Age: No upper age limit prescribed to apply.

For Three-Year LLB Course:

  • Educational Qualification: The candidate should be a graduate or postgraduate from a recognized institution/university.
  • Marks Required: Minimum 45% marks are required in UG or PG degree taken together for open category candidates, and a minimum of 40% marks are required for the SC/ST candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra only.

For Five-Year LLB Course:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed their intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognized board/university or who are in the 12th standard are eligible to apply.
  • Marks Required: Minimum 45% marks are required for open category candidates, 40% marks for SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra, and 42% marks for OBC/SEBC/VJNT/SBC candidates of Maharashtra.

Qualification Eligibility:

LLB (5 years) course: Candidate must pass the 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 45% in the qualifying exam (40% for reserved categories).
  • LLB (3 years) course: Candidate must hold a graduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized institution in any stream.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 45% in the qualifying exam (40% for reserved categories).
  • Appearing Candidates: Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

MH CET Law 2020 Exam Pattern

  •  The Examination will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
  • Candidates who are attaining the MH CET Law exam have to complete their papers in 2 hours
  • And the paper pattern is such that the test comprises 150 objective type questions.
  • Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for law admissions made question papers in both two languages English and Marathi languages.
  • The marking scheme for MH-CET for both LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 years) course admissions is such that for every correct answer candidates will be awarded one mark
  • And there is no negative marking in the exam.

MH CET LAW 2020 Exam held for a 3-year LLB program contains 150 MCQs. Each question carries one mark. The exam is divided into four sections namely:

  • Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning
  • English

There is NO Negative Marking and the time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

MH CET Law 2020 Syllabus

  • MH CET Law for LLB (5 years) Admission in that question will be asked from Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge of Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English and Mathematical Aptitude.
  • And for MH CET Law for LLB (3 years) Admissions Subject Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge of Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning and English.

  • English: Vocabulary, Proficiency, English based errors, English Comprehension.

MH CET Law 2020 Admit Card

MH CET Law 2020 Admit Card has been released for the 3 Yrs Course. Candidates have to download the MH-CET law hall ticket from the official website of the exam. MH CET Law 2020 Hall Ticket for a five-year degree law course has been available from 1st October 2020 through online mode. Candidates can download their e-admit cards by filling in their registration number and password. Intimation for downloading the admit card will be sent via e-mail/SMS to the candidates.

  • For that candidates have to enter their registration ID.
  • An admit card is a mandatory document that candidates have to keep safe.
  • Without a valid admit card candidates will not be allowed to attend the law entrance exam if they are not carrying a valid admit card to their test center on the day of the exam.
  • Keep it safe till the examination get over.

MH CET Law 2020 Result

MH CET Law 2020 Result for the five-year Law course has been published on 27th November 2020. Candidates can view the result on the website with the help of their roll number/ registration number. For the three-year course, the result will be declared on 25th November 2020. Candidates can view their results by entering the required details.

The result for MHCET law will be announced on the official website of the exam. Through online mode, candidates can fill an application.

MH CET Law 2020 Counselling process for the five-year law course will start from November 2020 and a three-year course of law counseling will get started from November 2020. Candidates will get be intimated through email/SMS regarding the process of counseling. Counseling will start after the declaration of the result and will be organized based on the merit list published with the result.

Candidates’ names will be shortlisted for admission by their score/rank in the MH-CET law entrance exam. Candidates have to take part in the counseling round which is held as a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) that is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra. Carry all requirements documents for verification purposes.

Candidates need to bring their original documents and a set of photocopies of all the documents required for counseling which are listed below:
