MICAT 2019MICAT 2020 GE & PI Interview Round is started from 2nd March 2020. MICA Admission Test (MICAT) is a university-level entrance examination. MICAT 2020

Which is known as MICAT (MICA Admission Test) The MICAT is conducted to provide admission to the candidates in Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C), so those applicants are aspiring to get admission in the various programs of MICA, they can fill the Application Form of MICAT through online mode from the official website of Mudra Institute of Communication. Only Applied Candidates who are Qualified in XAT, CAT & GMAT Examination.

MICAT Admit Card 2020

MICAT II 2020 Admit Card has been Available on 22nd January 2020. The Applicants will get their MICAT 2020 Admit Card through Online mode, and only the registered candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website by entering the MICAT ID, and Password and the Admit Card has been available from 3rd December 2019.

Before downloading the Admit card, candidates have to check the details mentioned on the Admit card. All of the participated candidates have to carry the Admit card at the examination center necessarily.MICAT-I Admit card can be downloaded from 3rd December 2019, and for MICAT-II, it can be accessed 22nd January 2020.

For downloading the Admit card, candidates can visit the website and must fill the required details. After filling the details, candidates can download their Admit card. Important details regarding the exam like date, center, and time will be mentioned in the Admit card downloaded by the candidates.

MICAT Application Form 2020

Those applicants are seeking to get admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C), they can fill the Application Form of MICAT through online mode. MICAT examination is conducted twice in a year, and applicants can score two times better marks. There will be a separate form of MICAT I and MICAT II.

  • MICAT 2020 Application Form has been available through online mode.
  • Candidates can fill the MICAT 2020 Application Form from 9th October 2019 to the 25th of November 2019 for MICAT I and from 26th November 2019 to 17th January 2020 for MICAT II.
  • Candidates must fill the detail required details in the Application Form carefully.
  • There will be no Offline mode available to fill the Application Form.

Procedure To Fill The MICAT Application Form

  • To fill the Application Form, the applicants need to visit on the official website of the Mudra Institute of Communication.
  • They need to register themselves to fill the Application form by filling the required details, and the registration number and password will provide to the candidates.
  • After that, candidates can fill the Application Form by logging in and fill the Application Form with complete and correct details.
  • In the Application Form, the applicants have to enter their national level exam scores, and the applicants also have to pay the application fee through online or offline mode.
  • After filling the details entirely in the Application Form, candidates have to submit it.

MICAT Application Fee

Application fee details for the candidates are given below:

  • Application Fee: A candidate needs to pay Rs.1965 as the processing charge of the application.
  • Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their fee via debit/credit card or net banking.

MICAT 2021

The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad is the conducting body of MICAT 2021 examination and through this examination; applicants will get admission in PGDM-C programme in AICTE approved and is deemed equivalent to an MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The MICAT 2021 Application Form will be available from the last week of October to 4th week of November 2020.

MICAT Eligibility Criteria

Those applicants are aspiring to complete their Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C), they have to check their eligibility criteria before filling the Application Form.

  • The applicants should have a bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 patterns or any equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by AIU.
  • Those applicants will have the last year of bachelor’s program; they also will be eligible to get admission in the various postgraduate programs.
  • Applicants should also have the valid scores of CAT 2019, XAT and GMAT to be eligible for apply.

MICAT Syllabus 2020

GE and PI Rounds

Group discussion & personal interview rounds will be held in the 3rd week of February 2020. It is necessary to qualify these rounds to get eligible for admission.

In the round of GE, candidates need to perform a group activity. In the round of personal interviews, a panel will judge your communication skills, personality, knowledge, and the passion of doing the course.

Admission to MICAT 2020 will be proposed based on the results of the MICAT, GE, and PI candidates followed by the CAT /XAT / GMAT exams. The best of both MICAT scores will be considered for admission. If the candidates have appeared in CAT and XAT or CAT and GMAT or XAT and GMAT or the three – CAT, XAT and GMAT, the admission to the best of the two / best of the three exams will be considered.

The weighting of 50% will be granted to MICAT, 18% to GE, 30% to PI, and 2% to CAT/ XAT/ GMAT  scores. Applicants must also verify their original documents to obtain admission. Candidates need to secure a minimum of 3.5 or more on a 5-point scale in Group Exercise. They also need at least 4 or more on a 5-point scale in Personal Interview. It will also depend on the majority recommendation by all the panel members of the Personal Interview.

In the last step, a final composite score will be calculated based on three rounds. CAT/XAT/GMAT  – 20%, MICAT – 30%, GE – 20%, and PI – 30% will be considered for the final selection. After the final selection, candidates will have to report at the institution with the required documents and fees to complete the admission procedure.
