MSET stands for Maharashtra State Eligibility Test & this exam is conducted by the University of Pune. MSET is conducted to recruit an eligible candidate for the post of Assistant Professor/lecturers in the state of Maharashtra.

State Agency will conduct the MSET Exam in 32 subjects at 15 selected cities across the state. MSET exam consists of 3 papers of MCQ, paper-I questions consist of teaching & aptitude & it is common for all the candidates whereas paper-II & III questions consist of the selected subject by Candidates as per PG levels.

• MSET 2019 Online Application Form starts from 2^nd week of October.
• MSET 2019 Online Application Form the last date is the 4^th week of October.
• Candidates should read all the relevant guidelines mentioned on the official website before filling the online application form
• Candidates should fill their personal & academic information carefully in order to apply for the exam
• Candidates must upload their relevant documents through scanned copies only.
• Candidates are advised to take print out of application form for future reference.

MSET 2019 Application fee

• MSET 2019 Application starts from 2^nd week of October.
• MSET 2019 Application the last date is 4^th week of October.
• Candidates can pay application fee through online mode only via debit/credit/net banking
• An application fee is non-refundable

MSET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidate must have Masters degree recognized by UGC with minimum 55% marks
• Candidate with reserved category will be given 5% relaxation
• Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this Test.
• However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the MSET, eligibility certificate will be issued only on production of proof for having passed the Master’s degree or equivalent examination within 2 years from the date of MSET, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.
• Candidates can appear for MSET in the subjects of their PG only
• Candidates should note that their candidature is provisional. Their candidature will be deemed final upon verification of eligibility condition with reference to the documents enclosed with their application or as may be called for from time to time.

• There is not an upper age limit to apply for the MSET

• MSET Admit card will be available before a week prior to the Exam.
• No Physical Admit Card will be sent to students through post
• Candidates must not forget their Admit card on the day of the exam, otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat in the exam

• MSET Result will be disclosed soon after the exam.
• MSET Result will be declared on the official website.
• Candidate can view their result by providing their registration no on the official portal.

• Candidates Selection process will be done based on the performance of the MSET Entrance Exam conducted by University of Pune
