New Changes this Year 2019

  • The examination will be conducted (two times a year) for Candidates. In mid-April and again in the first week of July 2019.
  • For exam duration, 60 minutes will be provided for the aptitude section and 120 minutes will be given for the drawing section.
  • National-Level centralized counseling may be conducted for admission in architecture courses.
  • Arts stream candidates are also eligible to apply for NATA 2019 if they qualify the Mathematics, physics, and Chemistry as Additional Exams Conducted by the CBSE board

NATA Admit Card 2019

Authority will announce admit card one month before the exam. The NATA admit card 2019 will be issued online on the official portal to candidates.

The NATA Admit card 2019 has been available on 1st April 2019 (1st Session) & has been Available on 26th June 2019 (2nd Session).

  • Candidates need to carry valid admit card at the examination hall.
  • Along with the admit card, an examination roll number will also be generated for each candidate.
  • Carry one of the photo IDs ad Voter ID/Pan Card/Aadhar Card/Driving Licence/e-Aadhar t the exam centers.
  • Keep your NATA admit card 2019 safe till carefully till the completion of admission procedure.

NATA Registration 2019

The opening of registration has been Started on 24th January 2019 and Closing of registration is 11th March 2019 (1st Session) & 15th June 2019 (2nd Session).

Fill and submit the application before the due date mentioned on the official portal.

Candidates can read the information brochure which will be uploaded by the authority on their website to fill the application form.

  • NATA 2019 Registration (1st & 2nd Session) has been Started on 24th January 2019.
  • Candidates can fill the application form through online mode
  • Candidates can fill the NATA application form that can be filled till 11th March 2019 (1st Session) & 15th June 2019 (2nd Session).
  • NATA 2019 Application Correction has been started on 12th March 2019.
  • Fill complete details given in application form only after filling personal details, uploading documents and payment of the application fee.
  • Candidates of category SC/ST have to upload the relevant community certificate also.
  • Must take a printout of the confirmation page generated upon successful fee payment for the candidate’s record.

Registration Fees:

Candidates can pay application form fees through online as well as by offline mode. Online mode Fee can be paid by using Debit/Credit Cards or Internet Banking and in Offline Mode By paying through e-challan at any pan India branch of ICICI bank.

  • Candidates have to pay the 1800/-as application fee.
  • It can be submitted through online mode.
  • For SC/ST candidates the application fee will be Rs. 1500/-.

 Eligibility Criteria 

NATA eligibility criteria details are given which contain topics such as Age Limit, Lateral Entry, Qualifying Exam, and Minimum Marks, etc.

Candidates applying for NATA must check full Revised eligibility criteria of NATA 2019.

If a candidate fails to, they may face difficulties at the time of registration.

Candidates those wishing to apply in NATA 2019 exam, should fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

  • Age Limit: No age limit to apply.
  • Lateral Entry:No admission in lateral entry.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must pass 12th/10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments or International Baccalaureate Diploma after ten years of schooling.
  • Minimum Marks:10+2 or 10+3 Diploma or IB Diploma with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Appearing Candidates: Such candidates are also eligible to apply.

NATA 2020

NATA 2020 Exam is conducted through the Council of Architecture (COA) to offer admission to the candidates in the 5-year B.Arch program. In the various Governments, Government-aided, Private Unaided, University Departments and Deemed Universities of the country admission will offer to the candidates through NATA 2020 exam. From the month of January, the NATA 2020 Application Form will be provided to the candidates. Till the last week of March 2020, the application form will be available.

NATA 2019 Exam Pattern

NATA 2019 exam pattern given point which contains Mode, Sections, Maximum Marks, Duration, and Language. The exam will be held in online mode means a computer-based test, candidates appearing for the exam have to complete their paper within 3 hours.

The NATA 2019 complete exam pattern is given below:

  • Mode: The exam will be conducted through online mode. The Exam will be held on 14th April 2019 for 1st Session & Held on 7th July 2019 for 2nd Session.
  • Sections: It will be comprised of two sections. Part A comprises of MCQ to be answered online and Part B is a paper-based drawing test.
  • Maximum Marks: A total of 200 marks questions will be asked in the exam. 120 marks of Part-A and 90 marks of Part-B.
  • Duration: The complete exam will be of 3 hours. 90 minutes for Part-A and 90 minutes for Part-B.
  • Language: All instructions will be given in the English language
  • Marking Scheme:2 marks will be allotted for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: No negative marking in the exam.

NATA Syllabus 2019

NATA 2019 syllabus will be published by the authority. The syllabus for NATA 2019 will be set from the subject mathematics, general aptitude and drawing test

. Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete paper in the examination center.

Candidates have to prepare for the exam from the syllabus, and they have to be prepared themselves correctly because the question asked will be to test candidates’ skill and knowledge.

Mathematics:

Theory of Calculus, Application of Calculus, Permutation and combination, Statistics, Probability, Algebra, Logarithms, Matrices, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, 3-Dimensional Co-ordinate, and geometry.

General Aptitude:

Visualizing different sides of 3D objects. Mathematical reasoning and sets & relations. Objects, textures related to architecture & built environment.

Analytical reasoning, mental ability (visual, numerical and verbal), general awareness of national/international architects and famous architectural creations.

Interpretation of pictorial compositions, visualizing three-dimensional objects from the two-dimensional drawing.

Drawing Test:

Creating 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms. Generating plan, elevation, and 3D views of objects. Perspective drawing, Sketching of urbanscape and landscape. Ordinary day-to-day life objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.

Understanding the scale and proportion of objects, geometric composition, shape, building forms and elements, aesthetics, color texture, harmony, and contrast. Conceptualization and visualization through structuring objects in memory.

Drawing of patterns-both geometrical and abstract. Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces, and volumes.

NATA Answer Key

The NATA Answer Key 2019 will be released after the Exam. NATA 2019 1st Session Answer Key has been released on 15th April 2019. The authority will release on its official portal of the NATA. Students will able to check the response sheet.

NATA Result 2019

Candidates can check their NATA Result 2019, The authority has been Declared the Result on 3rd May 2019 (1st Session) & 21st July 2019 (2nd Session). Candidates who attempt the exam can download the result.

  • The result has been available on the official website of the exam.
  • To download the NATA result 2019, candidates need to enter their registration/roll number as well as a password on the official portal.
  • Within a week of taking the examination, the response sheet of each candidate for Part A will be uploaded along with subject-wise secured marks.

NATA Counseling 2019 will be conducted by the authority, but the authority will not attend any counseling for admission in the participating institutions.

  • Every institution will organize their counseling and admission procedure individually.
  • Candidates have to apply separately in each institution to get admission into B.Arch courses by NATA score after the result issued.
  • And in final candidates will be given admission who fulfill all criteria as specified during counseling and admission in Universities/Institutions.

Candidates must note the following points

  • Candidates should have obtained a valid score in both: the qualifying exam and NATA 2019. Candidates’ total score will be assessed by taking 50% marks from 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and 50% marks secured in NATA 2019.
  • NATA 2019 Score Card is considered valid only when candidates have secured minimum 25% marks in MCQ portion (30 out of 120) & 25% marks in the drawing portion. (20 out of 80)
  • NATA 2019 scorecard is valid for the academic year 2019-20.

    Whether a student can apply for b arch course this year 2019 20 after getting score card of nata July exam. Most of the institutions will close admission by that time
