Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, previously called Madhya Pradesh Pashu-Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya is a country agricultural university located in the Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, previously known as Madhya Pradesh Pashu-Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya is a government agricultural university. It was established in 2009 and is located at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The university is affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University is offering the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc& A.H.) with a total intake of 87 college kids, and Bachelor of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.) with the total intake of 33 students both at UG level. At the PG level, the university provides M.V.Sc. at the PG level with a total intake of 38 students. Furthermore, the university offers Ph.D. in 11 different disciplines of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry at the doctoral level with a combined intake of 20 students, and a Diploma course in Animal Husbandry with a maximum capacity of 61 students.

NDVSU Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. Candidates can obtain the application form from the university either by mail or by hand about the payment of INR 600 or 650 (Unreserved category) as well as INR 400 or 450 (Unreserved category) through Demand Draft for the benefit of “Comptroller, NDPCVV, Jabalpur” payable at “Jabalpur”.

As An Alternative, they can also be downloaded in a prospectus or Application Form from the website of the university but such applicants are required to submit the application form along with DD of INR 600 (Unreserved Category) and for INR 400 (Reserved category), respectively.

NDVSU 2024 Admissions Process

The University of Veterinary Science is offering the Ph.D. in 11 various disciplines of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry with a total consumption of 20 pupils, and a Diploma course in Animal Husbandry with a maximum capacity of 61 students.

For admission to Ph.D. of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, candidates should have a master’s degree from a recognized college or university. For admission in the Diploma course, applicants have to be completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission to Ph.D. as well as Diploma courses are conducted on the basis of entrance examination undertaken by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal or by the Veterinary Council of India.

The university is offering aM.V.Sc. at the PG level with an intake of 38 students in total. Candidates applying for admission are required to have aB.V.Sc& AH degree to be. Admission to this course will be all Through The India Entrance Examination being carried out by the University. The minimum qualification to apply is 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal or any equivalent examination from any acknowledged board. Admission to these courses will be on grounds of State Level Entrance Examination (Pre-Veterinary & Fishery Test) being carried out by M. P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal.

• Applicants are eligible to apply for each course proposed by the university in offline mode.
• The minimum eligibility to get the entry fee in B.V.Sc& AH and B.F.Sc courses is to pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination from any acknowledged board.
• Candidates applying for admission in M.V.Sc. must have a B.V.Sc& AH degree to stand eligible to receive admission.
• For admission to Ph.D. of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, the applicants must have a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• To get admission within the Diploma course in Animal Husbandry, the candidate must have completed 10+2 from an accredited board.
• Admission would be based on merit established on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal or veterinary services Council of India.
• Candidates will get entrance to theB.V.Sc& A.H and B. F. Sc. course only if they are of 17 years on or before December 31 at the very moment of admission.
• On the length of the B.V.Sc & A.H course is 5 and a half years.
• Postgraduate degree courses are being offered in 17 disciplines (15 in Veterinary & Animal Sciences, 1 each in Animal Biotechnology and Wildlife Forensic and Health)
• The duration of this program is of 2 years.
