NEET 2021 Application Correction

In case if any candidate filled the application form wrongly, The NTA will allow the candidate to correct/ Edit the application form. Here in this section, we are mentioning the details of the NEET 2021 Application Correction.

The NEET 2021 Application Correction will be started from the third week of January 2021. The NEET 2021 Application Correction can be done till the Last Week of January 2021.

The NEET 2021 Application Correction by the authority will be allowed in some fields only. Those who wish to do the correction need to do in the time given by the NTA. The Fields which can be edited/ Corrected and which cannot be Edited Corrected will be mentioned on the official website.

The candidates will be informed by the authority through the Email and the Mobile SMS regarding the NEET 2021 Application Correction.

NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Here in this section, we are mentioning the complete NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria. The NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria will be dived into three different sections like Nationality, Age Criteria, and Qualification.

Nationality:

  • Students who are PIO/ NRIs/ OCI/ Indian Nationals and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply through the NEET for taking admission into various Medical and Dental Colleges as pp the prescribed regulations.
  • Jammu and Kashmir Candidates are allowed to participate in the 15% All India Quota only through the Basis of the self-Declaration.
  • Foreign National required to check the clause of the respective Medical and Dental colleges of various states.

Age Criteria:

  • The Student must have completed the 17 years of His/her age as on or before 31st December of the year of the admission in the MBBS/BDS.
  • There is no limit to the number of attempts for the NEET Entrance test.
  • There is no upper age limit.

Qualification

  • Qualifying Exam: The student must have passed the 12th standard with the Science stream.
  • Mandatory Subjects: The candidate must have passed with the qualifying exam with Chemistry. Physics, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English as the mandatory subjects in the 12th
  • Qualifying Marks: The student must have passed the 10th and the 12th class with the minimum 50% Marks together with the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
  • Qualifying marks for Reserved Category: Students belonging to the Reserved Category/ SC/ST/OBC need 40% marks in the qualifying examination. For PWD candidates minimum qualifying marks are 45% Percent.
  • Appearing Candidates: Those candidates who are in the qualifying exam or 12th level are also eligible for the NEET 2021 Entrance test.
  • Foreign Nationals: The candidates who have passed 12th from any Foreign institution and need to do MBBS/BDS from India must have passed their 12th level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology & English subjects with 50% marks recognized by AIU as per MCI regulations.

NEET 2021 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Paper: The NEET 2021 Entrance test will be conducted through the offline mode (Pen paper-based test).
  • Language of Exam: The paper will available in various languages Like English, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu, and Kannada.
  • Duration of the Exam: The examination will be conducted within 3 Hours (180 Minutes).
  • Types of Questions: The paper will contain objective type questions.
  • Number of Questions: there will be a total of 180 questions in the exam paper.
  • Total Marks: The paper will be of 720 Marks.
  • Marking scheme:+4 Marks will be allotted for each correct answer.

The candidates must bring the NEET 2021 Admit Card along with the ID proof. No one will be allowed to enter in the exam hall without the NEET 2021 Admit Card.

NEET 2021 Answer Key

NEET 2021 Answer Key will be released through the online mode. The candidates can download the NEET 2021 Answer Key from the official website. The students must download the NEET 2021 Answer Key by entering their user ID and password.

The NEET 2021 Answer Key will be released in the second week of May 2021. The students must download the NEET 2021 Answer Key and check the marks which they can opt-in the entrance test.

The NEET 2021 Answer Key will help the candidates to estimate the marks secured by them in the entrance test.

The Candidates need to pay rupees 1000 for challenging the NEET 2021 Answer Key. The challenge fee can be paid through online mode. The NTA will prepare the NEET 2021 Merit List as per the direction of DGHS, DCI, and MCI. The admission on the basis of the NEET 2021 Merit List and admission will be offered based on AII India Rank for admission into MBBS and BDS course.

The admission will be offered to the candidates and the name will be displayed on the NTA website only to the candidates who have opted 15% All India Quota.

NEET 2021 Reservation
