NEET UG 2020 Application Form

The information related to the application process is mentioned below:

  • The applications forms will be available on  2nd December for the applicants only through the official website.
  • The applicants can download the broacher and get all the details and steps to fill the application.
  • The applicants have to register first to access the application.
  • Once the registration is done the applicants will get the key (user-id & password) to fill the application.
  • The applicants can also fill the application without any help as it just needs to be filled with the information that is asked.
  • After filling the application, the applicants have to upload the scanned passport size photo and the signature.
  • Then the applicant also has to pay the application fee to reserve the application.
  • The payments confirmation should be saved.
  • Then the applicant can submit the application online and save the confirmation again

Application Fee Details:

The information related to the application fee is mentioned below:

  • The application fee can be paid by the applicants in both the ways online and offline.
  • Online mode: via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking
  • Offline mode: via e-challan by depositing fee in CBSE’s bank account in Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank generated at the time of online registration.

Application Fee 

  • UR/OBC applicants – Rs 1400/-
  • SC, ST & PH applicants – Rs 750/-

NEET UG 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants should be more than 17 years of age at the time of admission or will be completed before the 31st of December in the same year. For the 1st year of MBBS/ BDS courses.
  • The applicants should not be more than 25 years of age.
  • The upper age limit for the exam is 25 years on the exam date.
  • The OBC, SC & ST category applicants get a relaxation of an extra 5 years.
  • The applicants can apply minimum three times for the entrance exam.
  • Entrance in NEET-2020 will be counted as the first
  • Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

NEET UG 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The applicants will get 3 hours to solve the complete paper.
  • The question paper will have 180 questions on the test paper.
  • The test paper will be set using objective type questions only.
  • Each question will have four options and the applicants have to select anyone.
  • The applicants will get four marks for each correct answer.
  • The applicants will lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.
  • The exam paper will be prepared using the below subjects.
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Biology (Botany & Zoology)

NOTE: The exam will be conducted in 8 different languages such as English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada.

NEET UG 2020 Exam Syllabus

The topics that are under the physics subject:

  • SSC based: Behavior of Perfect Gas & Kinetic Theory, Gravitation, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Motion of System of Particles & Rigid Body, Oscillations & Waves, Physical world & measurement, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Work, Energy & Power.
  • HSC based: Atoms & Nuclei, Current electricity, Dual Nature of Matter & Radiation, Electromagnetic Induction & Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Electronic Devices, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effects of Current & Magnetism, Optics.

The topics that are under the chemistry subject:

  • SSC based: Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Classification of Elements & Periodicity in Properties, Environmental Chemistry, Equilibrium, Hydrocarbons, Hydrogen, Organic Chemistry- Some Basic Principles & Techniques, Redox Reactions, S-Block Element (Alkali & Alkaline earth metals), Some basic concepts of chemistry, some P block elements, states of matter: Gases & Liquids, Structure of Atom, Thermodynamics.
  • HSC based: Alcohols, Phenols & Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones & Carboxylic Acids, Biomolecules, Chemical Kinetics, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Coordination Compounds, D & F block elements, Electrochemistry, General Principles & Processes of Isolation of Elements, Haloalkanes & Haloarenes, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, p- Block Elements, Polymers, Solid State, Solutions, Surface Chemistry.

NEET UG 2020 Exam Admit Card

The admit card will be available on 27th March 2020 for the applicants from the official website of the university.

  • The applicants have to use the registered credentials to download and then print the admit card from the website.
  • Once the document is printed the applicants have to past the colored passport size photo on it.
  • Once the admit card is downloaded the applicants have to check all the information on it.
  • If any errors, then the applicants have to contact the university for the same and get it rectified before the exams.

NEET UG 2020 Exam Results

  • The authorities from the university will release the result online through the website.
  • The applicants will be able to check the results online tentatively on the  4th June 2020.
  • The applicants can check their results by using the registered credentials
  • Once the result document is open the applicants can save the document and then print them.
  • The result is an important document and will be required at the time of admissions also.
  • The merit list will be prepared using the rules from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI, and DCI

NEET UG 2020 Counseling

  • The applicants will be selected for the counseling-only based on the scores achieved in the entrance exam.
  • MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) will be conducting the 15% of counseling through All India Quota.
  • Other than the 15% of counseling will be done by the respective authorities.
  • The applicants have to pay the counseling fee and also choose the colleges they would like to prefer.
  • The seat allotment will be done based on the choices that were filled in the application, scores and the availability.
  • Once the allotment is done the applicants have to visit the allotted college to complete the formalities for the admission.
