NEET UG 2023 Online Registration will be Started in January 2023. The Examination will be held on 7th May 2023. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for UG courses. The applicants interested in admission into medical & dental UG Courses have to clear the NEET as it works as the gateway for admission to numerous government and private Medical Colleges of the Country.
The National Testing Agency has conducted the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) UG examination to offer admission to the applicants in MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has founded the National Testing Agency (NTA) and this agency conducts various national-level entrance examinations. The NEET is also considered the national level exam for the MBBS & BDS courses and is organized by the NTA (National Testing Agency) once a year in several cities across the country

NEET UG 2023 Application Form
NEET UG 2023 Application Form will be started in January 2023. Those applicants are wishing to get admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in Indian Medical/ Dental Colleges, can fill out the application form of the NEET-UG examination through online mode. Aspiring and eligible candidates can fill the application form by following the procedure mentioned below and they have to follow it.
- The applicants can download the brochure and get all the details and steps to fill out the application.
- The applicants have to register first to access the application.
- Once the registration is done, the applicants will get the key (user-id & password) to fill the application.
- The applicants can also fill the application without any help as it just needs to be filled with the information that is asked.
- After filling the application, the applicants have to upload the scanned passport-size photo and the signature.
- Then the applicant also has to pay the application fee to reserve the Application.
- The payment confirmation should be saved.
- Then the applicant can apply online and save the confirmation again
Application Fee Details
The information related to the application fee is mentioned below:
- The application fee can be paid by the applicants both the ways online and offline.
- Online mode: via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking
- Offline mode: via e-challan by depositing fee in CBSE’s bank account in Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank generated at the time of online registration.
- General applicant – Rs. 1500/-
- General-EWS/OBC-NCL applicants – Rs 1400/-
- SC, ST & PH applicants – Rs 800/-
- Candidates will have to also pay additional charges & GST.
NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The aspiring candidates in the Two Years Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program can fill the application form based on their eligibility criteria and the details mentioned below.
Nationality
- Indian Nationals,
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
- Foreign Nationals
Age Limit
- The minimum age of a candidate as of December 31st should be 17 years
- The maximum age limit of the candidate was scraped off last year. Thus there is no upper age limit for the candidates applying for NEET 2023.
Minimum qualification
- Applicants must be qualified in Class XII or equivalent from a recognized institute
- Those applicants will be qualified in Class XII or equivalent in summer 2023 can also apply for NEET 2023.
- Those who have completed Class XII or equivalent from an open school are also eligible
Mandatory subjects
- Candidate must have cleared Class XII or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidates who have passed Class XII or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible
Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination
- General category 50%
- PWD category 45%
- SC/ST/OBC 40%
NEET UG 2023 Exam Pattern
- The applicants will get 3 hours to solve the complete paper.
- The question paper will have 180 questions on the test paper.
- The test paper will be set using objective-type questions only.
- Each question will have four options and the applicants have to select anyone.
- The applicants will get four marks for each correct answer.
- The applicants will lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.

- Biology (Botany & Zoology)

NEET UG 2023 Exam Admit Card
The Admit Card will be available in April 2023 for the applicants from the official website of the university.
The applicants have to use the registered credentials to download and then print the admit card from the website. Once the document is printed, the applicants have to past the colored passport size photo on it.
Once the admit card is downloaded, the applicants have to check all the information on it.
If any errors, then the applicants have to contact the university for the same and get it rectified before the exams.

NEET UG 2023 Exam Results
The authorities from the university have been releasing the result online through the website. The applicants have been able to check the Results online. The applicants can check their Results by using the registered credentials
Once the result document is open, the applicants can save the document and then print them. The result is an important document and will be required at the time of admissions also.
The merit list will be prepared using the rules from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI, and DCI
NEET UG 2023 Counseling
The applicants will be selected for the counseling-only based on the scores achieved in the entrance exam. MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) will be conducting the 15% of counseling through All India Quota. Other than the 15% of Counseling will be done by the respective authorities.
The applicants have to pay the counseling fee and also choose the colleges they would like to prefer. The seat allotment will be done based on the choices that were filled in the application, scores, and availability.
Once the allotment is done, the applicants have to visit the allotted college to complete the formalities for admission.
