Admission would be completed through Common Entrance Exam to be held at diverse centers. Contenders may be given three choices for the examination center. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is a prime body in school education.

It has five Regional Institutes of education at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Mysore, and Shillong to fulfill the educational needs of states and to offer innovative pre-service programs. North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) is the five Regional Institutes of NCERT and has the mandate to offer academic and technical support on policies and programs of all structures of School Education to the Governments of eight northeastern states specifically, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.

NERIE is linked to North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. It offers a two-year B.Ed course from August 2016 intended for students from the North East Region. The course is a permanent, regular course and accepted by NCTE NCTE. The course has already been offered by other RIE’s for the past some years and it was well-founded and well-received across the country.

NERIE B.Ed 2023 Application form

• For B.Ed (Two Year): Students must originate in the eight North East States (NES) viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura Prarambh, School for Teacher Education, Jhajjar, Haryana – B.ScB.Ed (Physical and Biological Group), B.A. B.Ed
• For B.ScB.Ed& B.A. B.Ed: Students from all States can enroll for the same.
• Likewise having the latest knowledge in content areas, the teacher trainees become well knowledgeable in pedagogy and communication skills which are unified throughout the duration of the course.
• The B.ScB.Ed/B.Sc.Ed Course (4yr) has been one the most prominent courses suggested by the constituent Institutes (RIEs) of NCERT, New Delhi

Reservation of Seats

• In accordance with the Govt of India rules applicants belonging to certain categories are proclaimed to seats earmarked for them based on relaxed criteria
• The following reservations are available SC – 15%, ST – 7.5%, OBC – 27%, PH – 3% Applicants applying under reservation quota will be considered only on the basis of the lists notified by the Govt. of India
• OBC contenders will have to affix a diploma from the competent agency stating that they do not belong to the creamy layer.

NERIE B.Ed 2023 Admit Card

The admit card or hall ticket will be made available in an online manner by the official authorities. Hopefuls are requested to go to the official website of the university in order to get the admit card. The Admit Card will be available on 10th July 2023. 

It is informed to download the Admit Card from the website. Applicants also need to take some copies of the admit card and keep them carefully. It is an important document that is brought during the exam.

NERIE B.Ed 2023 Result

Through online means, only the results will be made obtainable for the candidates. Reaching the official website of the university, officials will make an announcement of the results.

Candidates need to open the official website of the university with the roll number and date of birth. They are required to use particulars to check the results.

The Result will be Declaring on 1st week of August 2023. It is well-versed to download the result and get a copy of the same. On the results, officials will grant admission to the aspirants.

Admission to B.Ed

Admissions to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is completed once a year in the month of July/August. Contenders who are interested in this course have to endure the Common Entrance Examination(CEE) to get admission. The notice for CEE is available on the website in the month of March/April and entitled contenders can appear for the exam in the month of May/June.

NERIE B.Ed 2023 Counseling

During the counseling round, applicants need to open the particular link and fill up the registration form to partake in the counseling round. Subsequent to that, applicants need to opt for the choice along with their options desired and get the choices filled in the counseling round.
