It was established in the year 2010 as a stand-alone University. NIT Sikkim will be approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as Well As All The India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is offering B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programs in various streams. NIT Sikkim Admission is done through national level entrance exams.

NIT Sikkim provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in multiple specializations. The list of Courses Offered through NIT Sikkim contains B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), M.Tech (Master of Technology), M.Sc (Master of Science), and Ph.D. The entire duration of B.Tech is 4 years and M.Tech is 2 years. NIT Sikkim 2024 Application Form

NIT Sikkim Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon. Candidates are able to apply online for B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs by following the given steps:

For B.Tech. programs:

• Candidates can be registered online on JEE Main website or the CSAB website.
• Fill in all the details which include the marks in the qualification examination and course name.

For M.Tech. & Ph.D. programs:

• Download the application form from the institute’s website.
• A hard-copy of a full and signed application form along with all self-attested supporting documents and a requirement draft of INR 500 (INR 100 for SC/ST) in favor of “Director, NIT Sikkim” which must be paid at Ravangla, must be sent to the following address:

• The subject-line on the envelope must be: “Application for Admission in M. Tech. (Funded) in (Name of the Course)”
• The candidate is further under an obligation to e-mail a scanned copy of the completed application form with all other self-attested supporting documents and demand draft (into a single .pdf file) to the college mail. The subject of the e-mail should be the same one for the offline application.

Documents Required:

The applicants must send the following documents (photocopies with the application form and original at the time of the interview) in order to verify the purpose:

• Force On The Photo-ID proof.
• Mark sheet and certificates of all qualifications from class 10th onwards.
• Character Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution or Department last attended.
• OBC, SC, ST, or PD certificate, if applicable.
• Proof of Date of Birth.
• GATE or NET scorecard.
• Appearing Certificate from the Head of the Department or institute for candidates appearing for the final examination of the qualifying degree.
• Reprint of research publications (1st page only), if any.
• Certificate of sponsorship.
• Experience Certificate, if any.
