NLUJA Admission 2020 Admit Card will be Releasing soon. NLUJA is fully known as the National Law University and Judicial Academy. The applicants will get the National Law University and Judicial Academy located in Assam and were formed in the year 2009 as “National Law School and Judicial Academy”.

NLUJA is one of the known autonomous law schools located in the Assam state. The official authorities of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam organizes an admission process for the eligible applicants with a motive to provide them the education. 

With the help of the admission process, the applicants will be able to get admission in BA LLB of five years integrated course and LLM for a one-year course. Along with that, the official authorities will provide admission to the applicants in the Ph.D. course in the field of Law. These admissions are given through the competitive exams followed by a counseling session.

NLUJA 2020 Application Process

The NLUJA 2020 Application Process is important as the applicant who does not complete the application process will not be able to apply so for such applicants in this section we have provided the details about the NLUJA 2020 Application Process

The applicants who want to apply for getting admission in BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM course will have to apply for the CLAT. However, the applicants who want to apply for getting admission to the Ph.D. course will have to fill the NLUJA application. The application process is similar for both. 

The applicant will get the details of the Application Process in the below section. 

  • The NLUJA Admission 2020 Application Form Last Date has been extended till 10th July 2020.
  • The official authorities hs been released the Application Form for the applicants who want to apply for the admission process. 
  • However other than online mode the applicants cannot get the application form in any other mode. 
  • So to get the Application Form the applicants will have to visit the official website and register themselves. 
  • At the time of registration, the applicants will have to provide certain details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email id. 
  • Once the registration process is completed the applicants will have to log in to the website using the credentials which are received in their mail. 
  • After logging to the website the applicants will have to get the Application Form
  • Once the application form is open the applicants will have to start filling it with the help of the educational documents. 
  • Applicants must ensure that they should not enter any false information in the application form. 
  • Once the Application Form is completely filled the applicant will have to check all the details and then make the payment of the application fee in online mode itself. 
  • Once the application fee is paid the applicants will have to save the payment confirmation receipt
  • Then the applicants will have to submit the duly filled application form before the due date.

NLUJA 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants should check the below information about the NLUJA 2020 Eligibility Criteria and meet them before applying for the admission process. 

BA LLB

  • Qualification: HSC exam with 10+2 system.
  • Minimum marks (general category): More than 45% marks
  • Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 40% marks 
  • Selection Process: CLAT 

LLM

  • Qualification: LLB Degree.
  • Minimum marks (general category): More than 55% marks
  • Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 50% marks 
  • Selection Process: CLAT 

Ph.D. course

  • Qualification: Master’s Degree in Law
  • Minimum marks (general category): More than 55% marks
  • Minimum marks (reserved category): More than 50% marks 
  • Selection Process: UGC – NET/JRF/SLET/Admission Test + Personal Interview

NLUJA 2020 Selection Process 

In this section, the applicants will get the information about the NLUJA 2020 Selection Process for the academic year. The authorities provide admission on the basis of the competitive entrance exam and counseling session. 

The applicants will have to appear for the CLAT exam in order to get admission in the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM course. And the applicants who want to apply for the Ph.D. course will have to appear for the entrance exam which will be conducted by the official authorities of the NLUJA.

The applicant need not appear for the admission test for the PhD course if they have completed UGC – NET/JRF/SLET. On the basis of the marks obtained by the applicants in the entrance exam, the official authorities will provide admission to the applicants in the respective course. After that, the applicants will have to appear for the interview round and then the final admission will be provided to the applicants in the institution. 

NLUJA 2020 Exam Pattern

The applicants who want to apply for the Ph.D. course will have to appear for the Ph.D. admission test which will be conducted by the authorities of the NLUJA. And so for such applicants, we have provided the information about the pattern of the Ph.D. Admission Test. 

  • Duration of the exam: Two hours
  • Type of questions: Objective type MCQs and Descriptive type questions and Essay
  • No of Questions: 25 MCQs and 5 descriptive (out of 10) and 1 essay
  • Marking Scheme: 1 marks for MCQ, 5 marks for descriptive
