NTSE 2019 Stage II Exam dates has been announced. The Exam will be Held on 12th May 2019. NTSE  is commonly known as National Talent Search Examination. The National Talent Search Scheme is a scheme which was established in the year 1963. However, the National Talent Search Scheme was established with the purpose of identifying talented applicants and provide them with the opportunity to grow more.

However, in the current year, the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) is the official authority to organize the NTSE. The NTSE is conducted for class SSC every year in different states and union territories.

However, the NTSE 2019 – 2020 is conducted in two stages that means the stage 1 (state level) will be conducted in the month of November 2019 and the stage 2 (national level) will be conducted in the month of May 2019.

The first stage of the exam is conducted by the respective states wherein the second stage is conducted by the NCERT every year. The National Council of Educational Research and Training will update all the important notification related to the NTSE on the official website of the university for the reference of the applicants.

NTSE 2019 Exam Dates

NTSE 2019 Application Form

The important information related to the application form is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

  • Fill the application form available on the official website of the university.
  • Applicants need to register themselves on the official website.
  • After that download the application form from the official website.
  • Start filing the application form by entering necessary details in it.
  • Applicants are instructed to enter all the necessary details in the application form correctly and properly.
  • Applicants can refer to the educational qualification documents to fill the application form.
  • After that applicant needs to take a printout of the duly filled application form once the form is completely filled.
  • After that applicants need to pay the application fee and submit the application form once the form is filled.

NTSE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The important information related to the eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

Educational qualification:

  • For the admission procedure, those applicants are eligible to apply who are studying in class SSC in any type of recognized school including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, and Sainik school etc.

Qualifying marks:

  • It is important that general category applicants should score more than 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • And the reserved category applicants should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

NTSE 2019 Paper Pattern

  • NTSE 2019 Stage II Exam dates has been announced. The Exam will be Held on 12th May 2019.
  • The entrance exam will be conducted in two different parts ad mention below:

Part I: MAT (Mental Ability Test)

Part II: SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

  • The entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode at the state / national level.
  • Objective type questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
  • 100 questions of 100 marks each will be asked in the entrance exam in both the parts.
  • All the correct response given in the entrance exam will get one mark in the exam.
  • However, for incorrect answers, there is no provision of negative markings in the exam.
  • 120 minutes each will be provided to the applicants to solve the paper.
  • The entrance exam will be organized in OMR sheet.

NOTE: The applicants will be able to get the information about the syllabus subject wise on the official website of the university.

NTSE 2019 Admit Card

The important information related to the admit card is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

  • The official authorities of the university will update the admit card of the applicant on the official website of the university itself.
  • Applicants need to download the admit card from the official website.
  • Applicants need to use application number and password in order to download the admit card.
  • Once the admit card is accessible applicants need to check all the details in the application form.
  • Applicants who will find any mistake in the admit card needs to report to the board for correction.
  • Admit card is the gate pass of the applicants to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Admit card will be verified at the time of entrance exam by the examination supervisor.

NTSE 2019 Results

The important information related to the results is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

  • The result will be updated on the official website of the university for the reference of the applicants by the official authorities.
  • Applicants need to download the result from the official website of the university.
  • Applicants need to use roll number and date of birth in order to download the result from the website.
  • However, applicants must keep the result safely until the time of admission procedure.
  • Applicants who have scored well in the entrance exam will be eligible to get admission in the institution.

NTSE 2019 Selection Procedure

The important information related to the selection procedure is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

  • The official authorities have adopted a two-stage selection process for the eligible applicants.
  • The official authorities will do the selection of the applicants by the state / UTs through a written exam for the stage I.
  • However, applicants, who will successfully clear the stage I will be eligible to appear for the next round that is stage II and get admission in the institution.
  • Applicants who will score more than the 40% marks in each paper will be eligible to appear for stage II if they belong to the general category.
  • And reserved category should score minimum 32% marks in each paper in order to get admission in the institution.
