NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Admit Card has been released. In the year 1963, the National Talent Search Scheme was established with the motive of classifying applicants’ talent in different fields. However, the National Talent Search Scheme is also known as NTSE. However, the entrance exam which is known as NTSE also calls as National Talent Search Examination.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 1st Stage Exam will be held on 13th December 2020 and the 2nd Stage Exam will be held on 13th June 2020. The NTSE exam is conducted every year by the NCERT. The NCERT is commonly known as the National Council of Educational Research and Training. The NCERT will conduct the NTSE exam every year for the SSC applicants.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Application Form

  • NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Application Form can be done till 30th October 2020 without Late Fee.
  • An online model application form will be available.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification:

  • Those applicants who have completed IX class from a recognized primary school and are studying in SSC in any of the Government / private schools / Kendriya Vidyalaya / Sarvodaya Vidyalaya as or any other type of school recognized/affiliated with the state or CBSE are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Qualifying marks:

  • To appear for the entrance exam General category applicants should score more than 60 % marks in the qualifying exam and that, reserved category applicants should score a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Paper Pattern

The important information related to the paper pattern is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

The entrance exam will contain three papers in two parts as mention below:

  • Paper 1: Mental Ability Test (MAT) (100 questions of 100 marks)
  • Paper 2: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (100 questions of 100 marks)
  • Both the question paper of the entrance exam will consist of MCQ type objective questions.
  • Applicants need to answer a maximum of 100 questions for 100 marks in the exam.
  • Wherein applicants will get 120 minutes to solve the paper.
  • Incorrect answers have no negative markings and each correct answer will get one mark in the exam.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Admit Card

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Admit Card has been available in Online mode The official authorities will be responsible to release the admit card for those applicants who have successfully submitted the application form and application fee for the exam and have registered for the exam.

Admit card is an identity card of the applicant who is appearing for the entrance exam. So the official authorities will not permit applicants to appear for the entrance exam without admit cards. To get the admit card applicants are instructed to visit the official website of the university.

Applicants need to use the login credentials (application number and password) generated at the time of registration to see the admit card. Applicants have to log in to the website with the help of the login credentials and then download the admit card from the website for the entrance exam.

After downloading the admit card applicants are instructed to keep some copies of the admit card for future usage. Applicants must carry the admit card at the time of the entrance exam as it is mandatory documents to carry and will be verified by the examination supervisor in the examination hall.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Result

The official authorities will be responsible to announce and update the answer key of the exam along with the results of the exam after a few days of the date of completion of the entrance exam.

However, the answer key of the exam along with the results of the exam will be announced in online mode on the official website of the university for the reference of the applicants.

Along with the results, the cut off marks of the entrance exam will also be announced on the official website of the university by the official authorities. With the help of the roll number and date of birth, applicants need to download the result from the official website and take some copies of the same.

Official authorities will invite applicants for further admission procedure based on the marks secured by them in the entrance exam. However, only those applicants who have scored more marks than the cut off marks in the entrance exam will be eligible to appear for the further admission procedure.
