OJEE 2018 Counselling for various courses has been started now. The Answer Key is releasing soon after the examination. OJEE is referred to as Odisha Joint Entrance Examination and it is a state level entrance EXAMINATION regulated by the state government. Through the entrance, exam candidates can enter into the first year of degree course of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and MAM. The candidates will get admission in the lateral entry in engineering and technology and 1st year of master courses in MCA, M.tech, MBA, M.Pharma etc. through JEE Main and admission in MBBS and BDS will be made through NEET examination.

OJEE is conducted by the State Government of Orissa for admission to the first year Degree courses in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Part-time M.Tech,Master of Architecture (M.Arch) And Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).

OJEE Admit card 2018

Students can get the OJEE Hall Ticket 2018 via online mode from 20th April 2018. The admit card will be published by authority on online a days before the examination. The candidates will need to submit the copy of their admit card duly signed by the invigilator at the examination hall.
If the candidate fails to submit hall tickets and id proof that candidates will be not allowed to write the exam. The Hall Ticket is a mandatory document which contains various details like the candidate’s name, exam venue, exam date and the other important details.

  • The candidates who filled the application form can download the admit card from the official website.
  • The admit card is equivalent to the hall ticket.
  • The admit card will be available from 20th April 2018.
  • Candidates can click on admit card for more details about the admit card.
  • It is mandatory to carry admit card along with identity card to the examination hall,  failing in it the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

 

OJEE 2018 Registration Process

 

The application form will be available from 3rd February and Last day for submitting OJEE 2018 Application Form is 10th March. Candidates have to fill and submit the form before the due dates. Before going for the exam, candidates have to register for the OJEE 2018. The candidates will get the application form from the first week of February 2018. It will be available online from the official website.

Candidates are informed to keep the printout of the confirmation page for further reference. Documents required to be uploaded in the application form are latest colored passport size photograph, left-hand thumb impression, signature, category certificate, domicile certificate, registration certificate/ admit card/ mark sheet of class 10th, income certificate, PWD certificate.

Step by Step Process


Once the candidate has fulfilled the eligibility criteria to apply for OJEE 2018, he/she can access the online form on the Official Website (www.ojee.nic.in) for notifications about the form availability.

The Application Form release date will be around the first week of February 2018.

  • The candidate who has satisfied the eligibility criteria need to Create Account with a Login name, date of birth online for OJEE 2018.
  • Post this step, a password and ID will be emailed to the candidate on their registered Email ID to the candidates
  • Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria should make sure to keep their contact details handy for OJEE 2018
  • The candidate who has covered-up the eligibility conditions should select the course name they are willing to take admission into.
  • The candidate has to fill the form online using the code key give on the website page\Once the candidates are done with filling in the basic details and academic details, they should submit the form.
  • The candidate who has satisfied the eligibility condition should upload their digital signature, left thumb impression and color passport photograph inline
  • The sizes must range between 5 and 50 KB only.
  • Deposit the fee for registration next and take a copy of the payment page confirmation for future use.

Payment of fees for OJEE Application Form:

Candidates can pay application form fees through online and offline modes. Candidates have to pay application form fees  INR 1000 and INR 1500 for other courses like MBA & MCA, MBA & LE-MCA, MBA & PGAT.

Through the Online medium, candidates can pay application fees such as credit/ debit card, e-banking and offline mode by e-challan, deposit the same with cash at any State Bank of India, Canara Bank or Bank of Baroda branch.Once payment is made through online or remitted it will not be refunded back. Candidates are suggested to keep copies of filled application form for future use.

  • The fee for the application to OJEE 2018 is INR 1000and INR 1500 for other courses like MBA & MCA, MBA & LE-MCA, MBA & PGAT for all candidates who have satisfied the eligibility criteria.
  • Those who have covered the eligibility criteria and fill in the application form online will have to pay the fees via any online mode of payment.
  • This includes net banking, debit card or credit card.
  • For those who are willing to apply offline, download the e-challan and deposit the same with cash at any State Bank of India, Canara Bank or Bank of Baroda branch.
  • Take a printout of the confirmed payment online, two days after paying the challan.
  • The payment can be made until 5 pm during the span of form availability.

Eligibility Criteria


Before applying for the exam, candidates have to check the eligibility criteria. To apply For B.Pharma the candidate must have cleared 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board. Subjects Physics and Chemistry is compulsory. Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks for general category and 40% for reserved categories.

To apply candidate should belong to Odisha state. And For BAMS and BHMS applier have cleared 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board. Physics, Biology and Chemistry subject are compulsory.  The candidates must obtain minimum at least 50% marks for general category and 40% for reserved categories.

Undergraduate Courses

Pharmacy

The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subjects.

The applicant must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category) in the above-mentioned subjects.

There is no age bar to apply for Pharmacy courses via OJEE exam.

BHMS and BAMS

The candidate must have passed 12th with Science stream including Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany and Zoology) from a recognized board.

The applicant should have secured minimum 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST students).

The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2016.

Lateral Entry – Engineering (Diploma Holders)

Candidates applying for Engineering or Technology courses through lateral entry should have completed or been appearing in three years’ Diploma in the relevant subjects from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or AICTE approved institutes.

Lateral Entry – Pharmacy (Diploma Holders)

Candidates applying for Pharmacy courses through lateral entry should have a two years’ Diploma in Pharmacy after 10+2 approved by Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) or SCTE&VT or AICTE institutes.

Lateral Entry – Engineering (B.Sc or 10+3 students)

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST students) from a recognized university.

The applicant must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Postgraduate Courses

MCA

Candidates applying for MCA program through OJEE test must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

The applicant must have studied Mathematics either at 10+2 or at graduation level.

(Note: Business Mathematics at 10+2 level is not permitted)

If the candidate has studied BCA/ B.Sc ((IT/CS/IST/ITM) with Mathematics as a subject, s/he is not required to have Mathematics at +2 level.

The applicant should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST).

There is no age bar for admission to MCA course through OJEE 2017.

MBA

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

The applicant must have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% marks for students belonging to SC/ST category).

No age limitation for MBA applicants

M.Tech Regular

The candidate should have passed B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant field in order to be eligible for OJEE 2017 exam.

The applicant should have secured 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST).

No age limit for admission to regular M.Tech programs.

M.Tech Part Time

The applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree program in the relevant discipline or field.

Along with the graduate degree, the aspirant must have minimum two years’ full-time experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational Institute in relevant field.

There is no age restriction for M.Tech Part-Time programs.

Pharm

The candidate should have a graduate degree in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST students) from a recognized university.

No age restrictions for admission to M.Pharma program.

M.Arch

A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Architecture or relevant field is required.

Applicant must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST).

No Age restriction to apply for M.Arch course.

M.Plan

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering

Or

A Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialization in Community Development and Rural Development.

Must have secured at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

Integrated MBA (5 Years)

The candidate should have passed or been appearing in 10+2 from a recognized board.

The applicant must have passed in all the subjects and must have minimum 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all the subjects taken together.

No age limitation for admission to Integrated MBA program.

 

OJEE 2018 Exam Pattern


 

Candidates have to attain entrance exam in offline mode means pen and paper-based mode. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, not more than that time will be given to the candidate.

The total number of questions will be asked is 180 for B.Pharma and 120 questions for MBA course, For subject B.Pama 60 questions which will be asked from physics and chemistry and either Mathematics and biology.

For the subjects MBA verbal and analytic reasoning, general knowledge, comprehension and computer and business fundamentals. Four marks will be given for each correct answer and One mark will be reduced for negative answers their not mentioned negative marks for no answering.

  • Test center: The OJEE exam will be conducted at the offline test center which is specified.
  • Duration: The OJEE exam will be for a duration of 3 hours.
  • Type of questions: The OJEE exam will have multiple choice questions.
  • Marking Scheme: Every correct answer will be awarded 4 marks each while for each wrong answer there will be -1/4th mark deducted.
  • Negative marking: There is no negative marking. All the questions have to be answered and in case a candidate skips a question then they will be no negative marking.
  • Shift details: The first shift is from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The courses offered are Physics / Chemistry (for 1st-year Pharmacy/ /Homoeopathy/ Ayurveda)/ Test for MBA/ Test for Lateral Entry (2nd Year) (Diploma) to Engineering / Technology. The second shift is from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The courses offered are Mathematics for 1st-year Pharmacy/ Test for B Sc. (+3 Sc.) Lateral Entry to Engineering (2nd Year) / Test for LE (Pharma)/ Test for M. Pharma / Integrated MBA (5 years) /M.Plan. The third shift is from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The courses offered are Biology for 1styear Pharmacy/ Homoeopathy/ Ayurveda. The third shift for the postgraduate exam is from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and the tests are Test for 1st year MCA/ Test for Lateral Entry (2nd Year) to MCA / Test for PGAT for M.Tech / M.Tech (Part Time) / M.Arch.

OJEE 2018 Result


The result of the OJEE 2018 will be released online by the exam conducting authority on official portal. The result will be released in the first week of June 2018. The candidates have to enter the roll no. and the necessary details to view the result. The result will be needed further for admission purpose so keep print copies of it. To download the result from website candidates have to type ID proof and password. A merit list will be prepared on the bases of candidate’s score in the entrance examination.

  • This entrance test will be conducted in various cities of the Odisha on 14th May 2018.

OJEE Admission 2018


 

After publishing the result on official portal counseling will be conducted for the admission procedure. Once the merit list is released after that counseling process will be organized for admission.  The counseling will be conducted through online mode. Candidates must have to fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses as per their rank score in the entrance exam. The seats will be allotted to the deserving candidates as per the choices filled by them, rank and seat availability.

OJEE 2019

OJEE 2019 is a state-level exam led for admission in the first year of the pharmacy career and integrated MBA courses. It will be administered by the government of Odisha. It is also made for side entry engineering/technology/pharmacy / MCA and several other courses.
