The OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology) was founded in the year 1962 under the provisions of the Orissa Act, 20 of 1961, and the functions of this university in teaching, research, and extension education.

There are 10 Agro-Polytechnic Centre under OUAT that are offering two years Diploma Course Agro-Polytechnic in the four disciplines such as Agriculture Science, Horticulture Science, Animal Science, and Fishery Science. Applicants will be able to get admission to Agro Polytechnic courses on the basis of marks scored in the HSC examination.

OUAT Agro Polytechnic Application Form 2023

The OUAT Agro Polytechnic Admission Application Form will be available soon on the official website of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

Those candidates who are interested and eligible to get admission in Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic Courses (Agriculture Science, Horticulture Science, Animal Science, and Fishery Science), can fill the application form by following the simple procedure mentioned below.

• Candidates must have to go on the official website of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology first of all.
• They must have to register themselves on the official website by submitting the required details and the login details will be provided to them.
• In the application form, applicants should have to fill in all the correct and complete details and they have to upload the scanned required documents.
• After that, applicants have to submit the application form and make payment of the application fee. They also have to take the printout of the application form for further use.

Application Fee

• The Application Fee is Rs. 1400/- (Rupees Fourteen Hundred only) and it can be paid through an online payment gateway using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card of any Bank.
• Fees once paid, cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

• Certificate of 10th standard showing date of birth

• SC/ST/Green Card / Ph. Challenged certificate from the competent authority for the respective reserved category
• Residential certificate (Except for candidate with Odia as a subject in 10th standard).
• Aadhaar Card / Aadhaar Enrolment slip

OUAT Agro Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria

The age of the candidates should be 17 (seventeen) years of age.

OUAT Agro Polytechnic Result/Merit List 2023

The Result will be announced at the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology and those applicants who are selected in the merit list will be able to get admission in Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic courses. Candidates can check their name mentioned in the merit list published on the official webpage.

Candidates selected in the merit list will call out for counseling procedures.

OUAT Agro Polytechnic Reservation Criteria

• Seat Reservation: The seats will be reserved for the SC/ST/GCH/P.H. candidates and the reservations are SC-08%, ST-12%, GCH (Green Card Holder)-05%, P.C. -03%. The seats reserved for SC & ST candidates separately are not interchangeable.
• Seats reserved for SC/ST/GCH/PC candidates falling vacant shall be filled up by candidates from an unreserved category on the basis of merit.

OUAT Agro Polytechnic Selection Procedure

OUAT 2023 Counseling will be started in November 2023 for UG courses. Applicants will be selected for admission in their aspiring programs on the basis of the percentage of marks secured in H.S.C/equivalent and + 2 Science/ equivalent exam on a 50:50 basis.

Applicants will be determined qualified if they will score higher marks in + 2 Science/ equivalent exam and if candidate-securing equal marks in 10+2 Science/ equivalent exam, then higher marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology taken together will get the first chance.

• Agriculture Science [Centre – Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Mahisapat, Dhenkanal; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Ranital; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Deogarh; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Boudh; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Rourkela, Panposh; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Bolangir] – 120 Seat percenter.
• Horticulture Science [Centre – Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Keonjhar; Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Semiliguda] – 40 Seat percenter.
• Animal Science [Centre – Krishi Vigyan Kendra Campus, Chiplima] – 20 Seats percenter.
