Parul Kush Jain takes over as Panchkula DCP

Parul Kush Jain is an IPS officer of 2004 batch. Earlier she was posted in Kurukshetra as the Superintendent of Police. Recently she has been transferred to Panchkula as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police.Even though Panchkula is a part of Haryana – a state who is already famous for its drastic sex ration but the district now has women to posted on almost all the important posts.The list of woman officers is very long. From District’s Deputy Commissioner to both sub-divisional magistrates all are women.

Talking to the press, she said that it is the first time that she had been posted in Panchkula.Before that, she had been posted in various places in Haryana, prior to being posted as DCP in Panchkula. She said that she will go in public and will make an attempt in all possible ways to heal the injury of the public. She considers it to be her job which is very sensitive and public oriented.

She will try to bring down the crime graph rate in the district and will have good tuning with Chandigarh, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, as it is the neighbouring places to Panchkula.She also made a request to public to have faith in police force, respect them and co-operate with them. When asked about her future plans she said that action speaks better than words, so just wait for her action they will get their answers accordingly. She further added that enforcing law and order and meeting people will be her priority along with controlling the crime.
