PESSAT, which stands for People Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test, is duly conducted by the People’s Education Society (PES). The exam is a yearly university-level test to grant admission to eligible and interested candidates in several undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by PES in different fields, namely Engineering, hospitality, management, etc. 

Besides the entrance test, candidates are offered many other ways to take admission. They can secure a seat in the university through various exams, including UCEED, JEE Mains, CAT, GRE, CLAT, NATA, LSAT, etc. Those candidates who are successful in qualifying for the exam are eligible to be admitted to various campuses of PES University. 

It is expected that the PESSAT 2025 admission process is likely to start in the first week of November 2024, and aspirants interested can fill the application form through the mode prescribed. PESSAT 2025 Application Form

The application form has to be filled out correctly and on time for submission on the official website. If you miss the deadline to submit the application form, sadly, you won’t be able to appear in the exam by any chance, and hence you will waste a chance. 

Check your internet connection before proceeding to the application form and ensure the connection is safe because you need to fill in specific personal details and make the transaction. Filling out the application form is a crucial step and here is some pertinent information related to the same.

• You need to fill out the application form through an online method only. The applications sent through postal means are not acceptable.
• The application forms will be released in 1st week of November 2024.
• The application form must be submitted after filling in the personal details such as name, qualification, experience, and address.
• You must upload the documents, photograph, and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions.
• Everyone is expected to pay the application fee as per their category.
• The last date varies according to the course.
• One needs to take the printout of the form and submit it on the computer. 

How to fill out the Application Form?

Interested and eligible candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for PESSAT 2025. Make sure that you go through the official notification thoroughly once before applying. 

• Go to the official website. The website has been displayed for your reference in the highlights section.
• You will find a link for registering for the new candidate which you need to click.
• Once you are on the registration page, you need to fill in the details such as your name, DOB, email ID, working mobile number, gender, etc. 
• Review the details once, then click the submit option to move forward. 
• Then, for moving ahead with the application process, candidates need to submit the application fee for the application form. 
• Choose the most convenient gateway and enter your details carefully to initiate the transaction. Make sure that your internet connection is safe.
• You will be redirected to the payment confirmation page. Take the printout of the same for future reference. 
• Login to complete the application form and upload the necessary documents in the prescribed dimensions. 
• No hard copy is required to be sent to the authorities. The application has to be submitted only through online mode. 

PESSAT 2025 Application Fees

You must be aware of the importance of the application fee for the final approval of any application form. The applicants who fail to pay the required fees on time will not be permitted to appear in the examination. 

• The application fee which is required to be paid differs according to the courses. 
• The application fees can be paid either offline or through online methods.
• Those who wish to pay the fee online can use credit cards, debit cards, net banking, etc.
• Those who wish to pay the fee offline can use demand drafts and challan. 

PESSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Under no circumstances the eligibility criteria should be missed. One must interpret the same in great detail to ensure they are truly eligible for the exam. If the candidates are not eligible for entrance in any course, their application will be withdrawn without prior notice. 

The eligibility criteria are somewhat different for each course, and let us look at the same. 

For B. Tech Course

• Nationality of the Candidate: The candidates need to be of Indian nationality. 
• Qualification: The interested candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Subjects: The candidates must have completed their 12th with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry along with computer science, electronics or Biotechnology.
• Marks Required: Candidates need to possess a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam in order to be eligible to apply.

For MCA Course

• Nationality of the Candidate: The candidates need to be of Indian nationality.
• Qualification: Candidates must possess a bachelor of computer applications degree or any equivalent degree.
• Subjects: Candidates must have completed B. Sc or B. com or BA along with mathematics at the intermediate or graduation levels.  
• Marks Required: Candidates need to possess a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

For MBA Course

• Nationality of the Candidate: The candidates need to be of Indian nationality.
• Qualification: Candidates must possess a degree in bachelor’s from any recognized university or institute in any discipline.
• Marks Required: Candidates need to possess a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
• Exam Score: All those candidates who scored in PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, and GRE are eligible for admission. 

PESSAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The candidates must interpret the exam pattern correctly if they want to attain good scores in the entrance exam. The exam pattern varies for different courses. 

It is of utmost importance to analyze the exam pattern if you want to deal with exam stress easily. Look at the description of the exam pattern mentioned below.

• Mode of the Exam:  Candidates need to appear only in the online method to attempt the exam.
• Type of the Questions: The questions in the exam are going to be objective in nature.
• Duration of the Exam: The total duration to solve the exam is 3 hours.
• Total Questions: The number of questions varies for each of the courses. Candidates need to check the same as per their course.
• Marking Scheme: Every correct answer will be given one mark each.
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the entrance exam.

PESSAT 2025 Syllabus

PESSAT 2025 Preparation Tips

Apart from the knowledge of the exam pattern and syllabus, the devising of the preparation strategy is required to clear the exam. If one follows these preparation tips then one can achieve fruitful results. Let us look at some of the preparation tips compiled for your benefit. 

• Go through the entire syllabus of the concerned course and also make yourself aware of the exam pattern.
• Divide and allocate equal time to each of the subjects. 
• Candidates should go through the official notification or brochure twice before beginning to apply for the exam. 
• Candidates must also solve last year’s question papers to understand the latest exam pattern and type of questions asked in the exam. 
• Exercise regularly for physical and mental well-being. 
• Make yourself aware of the selection procedure and the entire marks distribution system.

PESSAT 2025 Slot Booking

As per the latest sources, the slot booking process will most likely start from the second week of June 2025 for the Bachelor of Technology and for other courses. The slot booking can be done in an online way. Candidates need to decide their convenient and best-suited test date and time and register within the prescribed deadline. 

The slot booking under PESSAT is done based on First come First served. So, it is to the advantage of the candidates if they make the slot booking well in advance and do not wait for the last date. Through slot booking, candidates can choose their time, venue, and date of the exam. Once the submission is done, no changes will be entertained. 

PESSAT 2025 Admit card

The admit cards will be released for those candidates who complete the slot booking in an online way. The admit cards will not be sent through any postal means or any other methods. Candidates can visit the official website to download the admit card using the username and password on their registered email ID. 

Some of the crucial details that are required to be checked on the admit card are the venue allotted for the exam, the time of the exam, shift, reporting time, general instructions, etc. Don’t forget to carry the printout of the hall ticket and the required identity proof for entry into the exam hall. 

In case of any discrepancy in the admit cards, candidates may contact the official helpline numbers and email ID. Take your admit card and take your exam optimistically. 

PESSAT 2025 Exam Centres

PESSAT 2025 Results

The results are published separately for every entrance. It is very easy to check the result using the roll number, date of birth, and captcha code. It is expected that the results of the exams conducted by PES University will be published in July 2025. 

A merit list is formed according to the marks acquired by the candidates at the entrance. The merit lists are prepared with care separately for every course. After publishing the merit list, counselling is conducted for the qualified candidates according to their names on the list.

One prominent thing that needs to be remembered is that the results will not be emailed or sent to every individual. It will be available only on the official website. 

PESSAT 2025 Counselling

Once the results and merit list are published, the counselling procedure will begin from the third to fourth week of July 2025. The counselling is conducted for qualified candidates by PES University. As per the latest sources, the counselling will be organized only online method. 

Broadly explaining, there are going to be two different rounds of counselling. Depending on the rank acquired by the candidates at the entrance, seats will be allotted to them as per their preferences and also the availability of the seats. A call letter for the counselling will be sent to the candidates on their registered email ID.
