The FMGE is given for doing the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination course which is conducted by the National Board of Examination which is established by the Government of India in the year 1975. Nowadays in many Medical colleges, this examination is been given by the candidates every year.

This examination is being held to complete the graduation in the Medical field for the candidates in any medical college. The candidate who wants to qualify for this exam they are requested that they should first attempt the whole process of this FMGE Exam.

By attending all the processes the candidates would able to achieve the qualification of this exam and after qualifying for this examination the candidate would able to give more courses and which are there beyond the FMGE Exam. The candidate who wants to know more information about what they should do after passing the examination of FMGE.

Detail of what to do after passing FMGE:

The candidate who has given this Examination of FMGE and have successfully preceded in this exam, further they would get many more opportunity by completing this course. The candidates who are well qualified in this exam are compulsorily required to join the internship for 1 year in any Indian Medical college.

The candidate would choose any subjects to select in the internship and duration.

The candidates who are interested to do this internship after the examination can apply online. The candidate who wants to give this examination can choose any Indian Medical college for completing the 1 year of internship after qualifying in the exam of FMGE Examination.

Here are given some steps below which can help the candidate to know about how to apply or join this 1-year internship after the examination of FMGE.

Step 1:

Once the candidate would receive their passing or qualifying certificate from the National Board of Examination, they must be applying to the Medical Council of India for temporary registration.

The candidates are given an acknowledgment tracking number sheet immediately after the candidate application is processed.

The tracking Number which the candidate has in their sheet that the candidate can use to check the status of the application online. The candidate should not forget to carry 5 to 6Xerox copies of this tracking number sheet for their further procedures.

Step 2:

After that download the provisional registration form of the state Medical Council for which the candidate wants to apply.

Submit all these documents to the state Medical Council and on the same day, the candidate will receive the Acknowledgement for the Receipt of Application for Provisional Medical Registration Certificate

As it is said before that the candidate should carry the Xerox of their documents while the further procedure of joining the internship. The list of the required documents is given below.

Step 3:

Procedure at DME (Directorate of Medical Education) office

The candidate should write a letter by addressing the DME requesting to issue a NOC (No Objection Certificate) to do their internship at the hospital of your choice.

The candidate should also mention the name of the college from where they have secured their MBBS degree.

After this, the candidate should attach all the Xerox copies of the certificates which are listed in step 2 with the Xerox copy of acknowledgment paper containing the seal of the State Medical Council and submit it to the chamber where NOC is issued.

Step 4:

After getting the NOC form DME the candidate should go to the concerned hospital and should submit a request letter addressing to the superintendent of the hospital asking to issue the NOC. And the candidate should take 4-5 Xerox copies of the NOC and would get them attested.

Step 5:

Next, the candidate must submit a letter addressing the principle of your college requesting to issue a NOC. After that, the candidate must get the seal of the university along with the date seal on the second request letter.

Step 6:

Next, the candidate must go to the concerned university and submit two request letters addressing the register of the university to issue NOC to do the internship in the concerned hospital. After doing all this procedure the candidate should take a DD in favor of the university.

Step 7:

After submitting all the letters and taking the DD in favor of the university, the candidate would get the final order to join the concerned hospital. And the final order of the concerned hospital will be available within 2-3 days.

Step 8:

After getting the final order of the concerned hospital, the candidate should go to the bank and would take 3 fresh demand drafts (DD).

The candidate should submit these to the PA of the superintendent along with the final order, all the NOC’s, tracking number, Xerox copy of FMGE  pass certificate, and the academic transcripts.

And after that, the candidate should click on the link to download the list of the MCI recognized hospitals where the candidate can apply for their internship.
