PSTET 2018 Result has been Declared on 23rd March 2020. PSTET stands for Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab.
It is conducted for the post of teachers in state government, Mandal Parishad, Zila Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided & Un-aided Schools for the class I-VII. Eligible applicants are requested to apply for the exam after reading all the guidelines mentioned on the official website.

PSTET 2019 Application Form
Applicants need to fill the Online Application form, from the official website. Here in this post, we will provide the link to apply for PSTET. Applicants must fill all their personal information carefully & also academic to apply for this exam.
- PSTET 2019 Application form has been started from the 3rd of November 2019.
- PSTET 2019 Application form last date is 3rd December 2019 (Extended).
- PSTET Application Correction has been started on 4th December 2019.
- Applicants need to upload their documents only a scanned copy.
- Applicants need to read all the guidelines which are mentioned on the official website.
- There is no other mode to apply for this exam.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH) must possess the certificate to support their claim at the time of the interview.

PSTET 2019 Application fee can be paid through both Online & Offline mode. PSTET 2019 Application fee through offline mode can be paid through E-challan in the nearest HDFC Bank. PSTET 2019 Application fee once paid is Non-Refundable.

PSTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
For Paper-I
- Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed OR appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Applicants need to acquire 50% minimum marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination & finalized or appearing in final/last year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
For Paper-II
- Applicants must have passed in graduation or final year of a 2-year diploma in education elementary education.
- Applicants must have passed graduation with minimum 55 % marks or appearing in 1 year Bachelor Degree in B.Ed

PSTET 2019 Exam Syllabus
For Paper-I
Child Development and Pedagogy | The syllabus shall focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with the focus on understanding for characteristics and needs of diverse, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning |
Mathematics | The test items of Mathematics and Environmental Studies shall focus on the concepts, problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects. In all these subject areas, the test items shall be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject prescribed for classes IV by SCERT. |

PSTET 2019 Admit Card
Students must note that the PSTET Admit card is an essential document and they should carry to the exam center. Students can download the PSTET admit card from the official website.
PSTET Revised Admit Card has been released on 15th January 2020. The Previous Roll Numbers have been changed, All the Candidates are advised to Download Revised Admit Card with New Roll Numbers Immediately.
No Physical Admit Card will be sent to students appearing for the exam. Students must not forget their Admit card on the day of the exam. Otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat in the exam. Entry will Only be Allowed with Revised Admit Card with New Roll Numbers.
PSTET 2019 Result
PSTET Result has been disclosed on 23rd March 2020. PSTET Result will be declared on the official website. Students can view their result by providing their registration no on the official portal. Students who clear the Entrance Exam will be eligible for a personal round interview.
PSTET Selection Procedure
Participants’ selection process will be done based on the performance in the PSTET Entrance Exam conducted by the Punjab State Government. Participants will be shortlisted by marks scored in the Entrance Exam. Participants also have to go for the Final Round Personal Interview.
The validity of PSTET Certificate
All qualified Applicants will have seven years of the validity period for the PSTET certificate from the date of result announcement for all category candidates (consisting both reserved & unreserved category).
Number of Attempts
There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a PSTET certificate. A person qualified in PSTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
Qualifying Marks
A person who scores 60% or more in the PSTET exam will be considered as PSTET pass. Punjab Govt., as decided to give the concession of 5% in PSTET to the persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., by their extant reservation policy; This weight to the PSTET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the PSTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
Applicability
The PSTET shall apply to the Schools owned and managed by the Punjab State Government/Local Bodies and aided school.PSTET may also apply to the unaided private schools who may exercise the option of considering the PSTET.

i submitted pstet 2019 fee. my account got debited with RS.1200/- but fee didnot submit. again 2nd time i face same problem. fee get submitted in 3rd time payyment. what should i do to get refund???
