REAP 2018 Seat Allotment (Round 2) has been released now. Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process popularly known as REAP is conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan.

REAP 2018 is organized for admission to an undergraduate programme like B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses offered by various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur, and other Deemed & Private Universities).

The candidates who hold the residency of Rajasthan (that is the Rajasthan Domicile holder) and Kashmiri Migrants are eligible for the registration as well as admission for the REAP.

This gives the opportunity to the candidate to take admission into the various agriculture course like different colleges and institutions of the Rajasthan state. And many governments sponsored and self-financed B.Tech/B.Arch colleges in Rajasthan consider the REAP exam for providing admission.

REAP Application Form

The application form will be available from 1st June to 30th June 2018.REAP application form is available in offline as well as online mode. The application is available from the Mid-May to the last week of June. After submitting a filled application form, the candidate must keep one printed copies with them for further use.

The candidates can fill the form until the last week of June 2018. The candidates can obtain the application form from the prescribed centers or government-aided polytechnic institutes as suggested on the official website. The applicants are requested to keep the completely filled application form properly for the further uses in future.

Some detail is proved to candidate related to the application.

  • Once the application form is filled, the candidates are required  to submit documents for Document Verification purpose and  Online Application Submission Centres.’
  • The officer or the representative over REAP will verify all the documents of the candidate and submit it online in the presence of the candidate and the option entries are entered online as the priority of the candidate.

REAP Application Fee: 

Application fees can be paid by online and offline. Candidate who has filled application and fall in general, OBC and SBC category have to pay Rs.700/- for the application.

Below is given detail of application fees of REAP:

  • The general category fee will be 700/- which also includes OBC and SBC.
  • The application fee shall submit it to the center where the candidate wants to take the admission.
  • Payment can be done through e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan.


REAP Eligibility Criteria 

Before apply for admission look out eligibility criteria for REAP. Candidate must know full eligibility criteria because sometime candidate fails to know which harm them at the time of taking admission.

Candidate should know basic information like a candidate should be an Indian citizen, the candidate must be passed the 10th examination from English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics from any recognized board and candidates having a good score of JEE can also apply etc more eligibility criteria are provided below in detail.


REAP 2017 is open only for those Indian nationals who are holding the domicile certificate of Rajasthan.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech/B.E. programme in Rajasthan must have passed the 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Computer Science as one of the optional subjects.
  • Qualifying examination i.e. 12th must be completed with minimum 45% aggregate marks obtained in above-mentioned subjects. 40% marks for SC/ST/ Non-Creamy Layer OBC/ Non-Creamy Layer “SBC” of Rajasthan state.

Age Criteria:

  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1992 are eligible to apply. Relaxation of 5 years will be provided in the upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD candidates i.e., they must be born on or after 01 October 1987.
  • Date of Birth mentioned in secondary education mark sheet/certificate will be taken into consideration.

REAP Admit card 

Candidate can download admit card/hall ticket through online, official portal of conducting authority. Candidates who successfully submitted an application can only download their hall ticket from the portal. The official website of REAP provides the admit card for the candidates to download from there. Hall ticket is a mandatory document it contains candidate-related detail such candidates name, center, roll number, center, address, the birth of date etc.

It is candidate responsibility to keep save their hall ticket till the completion of exams. Candidate will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall without the REAP Admit Card and a valid photo identity proof. The candidate is advised to keep printed copies of hall ticket for further use.

  • Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to get the REAP hall ticket.
  • Students can get the REAP admit card via online mode through the website (The official website of REAP).
  • The admit card will not be sent by post.
  • Candidates are not allowed to appear in the examination without producing a valid admit card.
  • REAP Admit card will contain details like roll number, exam center, exam date, time, etc.

REAP Result 2018

REAP scorecard will available via online through official portal of authority. Students can check the official website of the REAP, which will provide with the further details. Through login, window candidate can view their scorecard. To see result candidate have to type Roll number and birth of date in official portal if, in case of candidate type wrong detail website will show error.

For correct page, candidate have to write the correct detail of candidates. Candidate can save the page in laptop/computer or can take a screenshot in the phone. Candidates are advised to keep printed copies of result for further use and admission process.


  • The REAP Result will be declared via online mode.
  • Students may check the result through the website.
  • Students are needed to enter the following details Candidate ID, Password & Security Code to check the result.
  • Take some extra printouts of the result for further use.
  • A merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained in the examination.
  • REAP Rank List will be prepared separately for various categories.


REAP Answer Key


An answer key is released by Rajasthan State Council for Technical Education  The answer key of Rajasthan REAP exams will be released after the result announcement is done.  In huge amount, candidates attained the REAP exams. The answer key is issued for candidates appear for the REAP Exam.

Candidate can estimate marks and roughly check question answer written in the examination. This will help the candidate to roughly check their marks/score of Entrance exams. This will help candidates to prepare for further admission process/ steps.

REAP Counselling 

The choice filling process will be started from 1st June to 30th June 2018.  On the bases of cut-off marks, the candidate will be given admission. Merit list will be prepared according to candidates score marks in the examination. In those bases, deserving candidate will be given admission.

Candidates who are interested in attaining counseling can download the letter of counseling from the official portal of conducting authority. Candidates have to submit all required document for registration and verification. If candidate submits the incorrect document and found in scrutiny candidates admission will be canceled.

The candidates wish to take admission to the REAP colleges have to bring the following documents for verification purpose:

  • Domicile Certificate of Rajasthan
  • 10th Class Mark Sheet
  • 12th Class Mark Sheet
  • JEE Main 2018 Admit Card
  • JEE Main 2018 Rank Card
  • Category Certificate (if any)
  • Disability Certificate (if any)
  • Character Certificate
  • Eligibility certificate in case if passed the qualifying examination from the educational board other than Rajasthan.

Reservation of Seats

Reservation criteria is something which tells us about the different category and the number of seats reserved for those categories.

  • For SC Candidates: 16%
  • For ST Candidates: 12%
  • For OBC-NCL Candidates: 21%
  • For NCL-SBC Candidates: 1%
  • For PWD Candidates: 3%
  • For Women Category: 25%
  • For Dependents of Defence Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winner: 3%

Selection Process

  • The candidates are selected for admission on the basis of marks secured by them in the SSLC/10th examination.
  • The candidate’s performance in matriculation examination will be taken into consideration for providing admission.

The candidates will require paying Rs. 10,000/- at the time of Counselling with the option form. The amount can be paid via online mode. On the basis of choice filled, availability of seats and rank, seats will be allotted to students. Candidate must keep ready the information and list of colleges along with the order of choice on a separate paper and mark sheets or desired certificates if any.

Candidates can fill their options either on the basis of JEE Mains score (Merit-1) or Percentile of 10+2 examination (Merit-2). 50% seats in the engineering colleges of Rajasthan will be filled through JEE Main 2017 and rest of the 50% seats on the basis of class 12th merit.

REAP Cut-Off

REAP  Based on the Cut off Marks/Qualify Marks only the officials will give the rank to the candidates’.A candidate who have attended for the REAP exam to get the rank card it is necessary to score minimum qualifying marks.

Candidate score above cut-off marks will get admission in college. The different college has different cut off marks. Every college change cut off marks according to the candidate appearing marking scheme, the number of seats and difficulty level of the entrance exams.

Cut-off will be determined after the declaration of results. Exam committee considers various factors for calculating the cut-off marks like difficulty level of question paper, the number of candidates attempted the exam and previous years cut-off trends.

Through cut-off marks candidate can roughly check that they are eligible to apply or not. This will help the candidate to select their favorite college according to score marks in entrance exams.

REAP Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for REAP will be a single question paper and candidates have to prepare for the admission in UG B.Tech/B.E. or B.Arch courses. The candidates can also apply with their JEE  main score. Also, the exam pattern will also be equivalent to more or less that of the JEE main.

NOTE: The candidates are requested to check the exam pattern the question papers of some last few years on the official website of REAP which will provide an insight into the exam pattern of REAP. Also, this exam pattern will help you in the preparation of the REAP.

REAP  Syllabus

Candidates are advised that before preparing for exam go through REAP syllabus and exam pattern, dates which will help to score satisfaction mark them in the examination. While appearing exams paper write an answer to that question which you know very well and after that write that confusing question this will help you to complete paper on time.
