RTU 2020(RTU) is referred to as Rajasthan Technical University and it was established in the year 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance the Technical Education at Rajasthan.

The RTU is located at Kota- Rawatbhata Road around 10 Kilometers from Kota Bus Stand & 14 Kilometers from Kota Railway Station.

The University provides various programs to applicants in UG & PG courses. Rajasthan technical university offers admission to the PG and UG course.

Below are the information and steps to be followed to fill the Application Form:

  • The applicants can access the Application Form of RTU CAM 2020 only in online mode.
  • To be eligible for the admission procedure, the applicants will have to fill and submit the Application Form successfully.
  • The applicants will have to register themselves first by entering their full name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth.
  • A challan will be generated and the applicants will have to pay the application fees by using either an offline method i.e., e-Mitra kiosk or online method i.e., credit card/debit card/net banking.
  • A transaction code will be generated after the payment and this code has to be submitted on the Application Form to proceed further.
  • Personal and educational details have to be filled in followed by the selection of courses and colleges for admission.
  • Scanned photograph and signature of the applicant also has to be uploaded.
  • Submission of the filled Application Form of RTU CAM 2020 has to be done tentatively by July 2020.
  • No hard copy of the Application Form has to be sent to the admission committee

RTU 2020 Eligibility Criteria

NOTE: The applicants will have to make sure that they are eligible for admission before filling the online Application Form.

The RTU 2020 eligibility criteria are given below for reference 

  • If any non-eligible applicant is provided admission due to some mistake, then his/ her admission will be canceled as soon as the mistake is detected.
  • The applicant should have qualified B.E./B.Tech examination of RTU or any other recognized University.
  • The applicants with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by MHRD/UGC/AIU/UPSC/AICTE are also eligible.
  • General category applicants should have scored 55% marks in the qualifying examination and reserved category applicants should have secure 50% marks.
  • GATE 2020 must have been qualified by the applicants.
  • Valid scores of GATE will be required.
  • Vacant seats will be offered to non-GATE applicants based on their qualifying examination.
  • The applicants should be medically fit.

RTU 2020 Exam Pattern

Those applicants who have applied for the entrance examination must know about the paper pattern:

  • The exam will have Multiple Choice/ Objective Type question papers.
  • Aptitude test will contain two Papers i.e. Paper I & Paper II.
  • Paper -I will contain 100 questions for 100 marks and duration of time is 1 hour 30 mins.
  • Paper -II will contain 200 questions for 200 marks and the duration of time is 3 hours.

Exam preparation tips: 

  • Before starting preparation, you should analyze the syllabus prescribed for the examination.
  • Prepare a good time-table as per your daily schedule and include all the topics of the syllabus in your preparations.
  • Refer the best preparation books and other study materials available in the market or on the internet.
  • Practice from previous year question papers and sample papers to know more about the exam pattern
  • Mark all the important topics of the syllabus and prepare short notes and revise them at the end of preparations.
  • Don’t take stress while preparing for the exam and take a healthy & nutritious diet.
  • Manage your time for some exercise and yoga it will keep you fit and healthy

RTU 2020 Exam Syllabus

Please check the given syllabus for RT University paper wise:

  • English: Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension
  • Mental ability and research aptitude: Mental ability, Logical reasoning, Statistical analysis, Graph interpretation, Quantitative aptitude, etc.
  • Department specific– In the case of engineering disciplines, the questions in this part will base on the UG level syllabus of the individual department.

RTU 2020 Exam Admit Card

  • Admit card is also known as Hall ticket and will be released on the official portal.
  • Applicants will be able to download the Admit card through online mode only.
  • Admit cards/hall tickets is a mandatory document which has all the details such as Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule & examination center details, etc
  • Applicants who are attaining exams are informed to carry valid Original admit cards with id proof if applicants didn’t bring, applicants will not be allowed to attain exams in the examination
  • Applicants who have successfully submitted their application can only download the admit cards.
  • Its applicant’s responsibilities to keep their hall ticket safe until the completion of exams

RTU 2020 Exam Result

  • Results will be available on the official website a few days after the examination is completed.
  • Applicants need to log in with their registration information to download the results.
  • It is also advised to keep extra printed copies of the results as they will be required in the future.
