The Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship, New Delhi will be releasing a notification for Admission National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training Courses under Craftsmen Training Scheme for the Academic Year 2018 – 2019 under Craftsmen Training Scheme and those seeking admission into Industrial Training Institutes in East, West, North, South Zones of Sikkim State.

The four houses of  the Government Industrial Training Institutes (GITIs) in East, North, South, West Affiliated with the Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship (DGT MSDE) offering different National Council for Vocational training/ State council for Vocational Training trade courses as mentioned below:

Sikkim ITI 2018 Application Form 2018

The applicants are required to check the criteria for eligibility before filling and submitting the application form. The application form must be submitted online through the official website of the Directorate.

The following steps are important to follow while applying online:

  • The candidate should go to the official website.
  • The candidate should then go forward with the registration.
  • The candidate should submit the requisite application fee to obtain login details.
  • The candidate should fill the entire application correctly and submit the application form.
  • After the submission of the application form the candidate needs to take the printout of the application form.

The following must be submitted while filling the application form:Birth Certificate

  • Place of Domicile
  • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority.
  • Academic Qualification
  • Mark sheet of STD.10th and conduct certificate from the Head of the School/Institution last studied.
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Certificate from any recognized Medical Officer stating the applicant is physically fit to undergo practical training along with an attested specimen signature of the trainee/applicant before the doctor in medical fitness certificate from itself.
  • 2 Passport Size Photographs of the applicant

Sikkim ITI Admission Procedure 2018

The DTE of Sikkim ITI follows a very crucial and strict admission procedure. The students seeking admission in the ITI must have the eligibility required in order to get accepted in the ITI of Sikkim.

The following is the procedure followed by the ITI of Sikkim:

  • The first is the Screening of the Applications, where the applicants forms submitted will be thoroughly screened to obtain the information and qualification of the applicants and candidates applying.
  • The Shortlisting of the Applications is done in an order according to the Merits of the candidates. The candidates whose qualifications meet the needed eligibility criteria are selected in the merit list and they qualify the admission process by receiving admission
  • The Declaration of Counseling (1st/ 2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th Round) is the process of counseling sessions where the students understand the course details and the college receives the necessary information required. The counseling process of the Sikkim ITI is done in rounds.
  • There are five rounds the student or candidate has to qualify in order to seek admission in the ITI Sikkim. A schedule of dates, time and venue is set by the ITI and the student has to be present at all times. The student who fails to present themselves during the time of counseling will be considered disqualified and the admission will be rejected.
  • After rounds of counseling the result of the candidates qualifying the counseling process will be out along with the Final Select List which will contain the final names of selected candidates applicable to seek admission in the ITI Sikkim.
