SNAP 2020 Application Form/ Registration

SNAP Application form 2020 will be obtainable by the online medium rather than offline.

  • So they will require registering for the exam filling in their choice of courses by submitting course fees individually.
  • The
  • SNAP 2019 Registration has been started from 16th August 2019.
  • The last date for registration & fee payment is 26th November 2019 (Extended).
  • SNAP 2019 Application Form and submission of the fee will be underway through online.
  • Aspirants should modify or check on errors in the application form before the end of the registration.
  • After the registration, no opportunity will be given to rectify any mistake or flaw in the details.

Application Fee

Those filling in the form successfully will have to pay the fee in the order of payment.

The payment is made by Billdesk Gateway, Axis Bank Gateway, Indian Bank Gateway & Demand Draft.

Those paying the fee with DD (Demand Draft) will need to submit RS.2065 with the inclusion of  RS.1750 as test fee and RS. 315

  • The DD is prepared under acceptance of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” paid at Pune.

SNAP 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must ensure their SNAP 2020 Eligibility Criteria before applying for the exam.

  • The Overseas Citizen of India(OCI), Non-Resident Indian(NRI), Person of Indian Origin(PIO), and Foreign National(FN), aspirants will be eligible for the admission.
  • The aspirants completing their graduation from a reputed university or institution obtaining at least 50% of the marks will be taken in to account.
  • The students coming to SC/ST will require achieving 45%.
  • The aspirants should possess the relevant certificate from ALU (Association of Indian Universities) who have accomplished their degree from a foreign university or institution.

Foreign University Candidates: Candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from Foreign University should have an equivalence Certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities). Before seeking admission to any program, all the foreign degrees need to be verified by the candidate from AIU.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university.

Percentage: Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks for general category & 45% marks for reserved ones.

Foreign University Candidates: Candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from Foreign University should have an equivalence Certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities). Before seeking admission to any program, all the foreign degrees need to be verified by the candidate from AIU.

  • SNAP 2020 Exam will be held on 15th December 2019 (2: 00 PM to 4:00 PM)
  • Exam Mode: The online way will hold the examination.
  • Duration: The exam timing will be 120 minutes.
  • Number of Questions:  There will be 150 multiple choice questions in the examination.
  • Marking Scheme: For the correct response, one mark is added to the total marks.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25% of the negative marking applies to each incorrect answer.

SNAP 2020 Syllabus 

The SNAP 2020 Syllabus includes the four sections Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General English, Current Affairs. The syllabus is as follows-

  • Here, the aspirants have been given a comprehensive list of topics for effective exam preparation. It does not vary from other national level MBA entrance test. Through the SNAP, the aspirants will be able to estimate their level for management courses.
  • The SNAP 2020 includes four parts- General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability / Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency / General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario / Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

General English: Jumbled paragraphs (6 sentences with first and last fixed), Comprehension of passage (Poems can also come), Verbal Reasoning, Antonyms, Fill In the Blanks, Sentence correction, Odd man out, Idioms, One word substitution, Different usage of same word, Sentence completion, Jumbled paragraphs with 4 or 5 sentences, etc.

SNAP 2020 Test Cities

SNAP 2020 will be conducted in 92 cities all over India. A candidate will have to choose three preferences for the SNAP online test 2020. Once the payment is made candidate will not be able to change the test cities they have chosen.

The admit card will have the name of the Test center by SNAP. The complete address will be mentioned on the SNAP Admit Card 2020. In exceptional circumstances, a different city in the nearby area will be allotted to the candidate.

SNAP 2020 Admit Card 

  • The SNAP 2020 Hall Ticket has been available from 2nd December 2019 on the official website. Candidates have to paste passport size color photograph on the admit card after downloading.
  • The admit card for SNAP will be available online for the aspirants who are going to appear for the exam.
  • Along with with the SNAP 2020 admit card, they must also possess any of the photo ID proof such as Passport, Driver License, Voter ID Card, Pan Card & Aadhar Card (UID).

Reservation Criteria

Following will be the reservation policy for admission to any program of Institute of SIU in SNAP 2019:

  • SC – 15%
  • ST – 7.5%
  • Differently Abled – 3%
  • Children – 5%
  • Two seats per program for Kashmiri Migrants.
  • International Candidates -15%.

SNAP 2020 Result 

  • The university will generate the SNAP 2020 Result officially on the 10th of January 2020. The aspirants will have to view their scores achieved in the test online at the website.
  • SNAP Score Card 2020 will present the qualifying marks, percentage, and rank of the student.
  • The Xerox copy of the valid scorecard is produced before the authorized group of counseling.
  • To view the result, it will require collecting the SNAP ID and Password. As per the SNAP percentile, aspirants will be selected for the further admission process.
  • The SNAP 2020 Cut Off is decided on the aspirant’s merit. As per cut off, the merit list is decided through university.

SNAP Cut Off 2020

SNAP Cut Off 2020 will be announced by the university through the online mode. Based on the cut marks, the list of merit will be prepared by the university.

The SNAP 2020 cut off will be made based on the SNAP score (of 150, reduced to 50 points). The institution will display the list of categories for the list of merits and the waiting list on the website.

SNAP 2020 Counselling 

SNAP 2020 Counselling will start after the declaration of Result.

  • Aspirants will need to register for the Institution on the individual basis for the courses they want to opt for.
  • After the result declaration, the institution will come up with the counseling procedure.
  • Aspirants who get selected will be able to take part in GE/PI/WAT procedure held on the instruction of each of the Institutions separately.
  • The final merit list is based on the SNAP score, group exercise (GE), personal interaction (PI) & writing ability test (WAT).
  • By merit, aspirants will be notified for admission. And they will require reporting to the institution along with valid and important documents.
  • After the documents are confirmed, they will be attending the seat distribution process. Aspirants getting the seat will be taken into consideration and get admission.
  • On the website, they will get a seat letter which is carried while reporting at the institutes.

Applicants must register separately with the institution in which they wish to apply. After the declaration of results, the institution will organize the admission procedure separately.

Candidates who are shortlisted must participate in the GE / PI / WAT procedure organized individually by each institution. The list of final merit will be based on the SNAP score, the group exercise (GE), the personal interaction (PI) and the writing aptitude test (WAT).
