The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination will be conducted under the management of SRM University. It is the university level Joint Entrance Engineering Examination administered under university level.SRM University will conduct the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEEE) for admission in various specializations of B.Tech programme.

SRMJEE 2020 Application Form 

  • Aspirants can opt for the exam through online or offline (OMR application) from the website.
  • The website will be put up with application form in the first week of November 2018 for those applying online or offline.
  • Only those who want to fill the application form will have to first register themselves by providing their name, email ID, date of birth, gender, and mobile number.
  • Then it will be required to log in using their password and provide their personal, academic, qualifying exam and contact details.
  • Aspirants will fix their photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Once aspirants submit the online application form, they will receive a mail on their registered e-mail address
  • It is mandatory for all to pay the required fee while filling the application form.
  • The application fee can be paid through net banking, debit card or credit card.
  • Those submitting fee through DD will need to send the application form with DD to the specified address-

Application Fee:

The application fee will be Rs. 1100/-. Candidates can submit the fee through online or offline (Demand Draft) mode.

The DD will be made in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.

SRMJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

SRMJEE 2020 eligibility criteria must be followed as per instructions to get admission through the entrance exam.

Nationality– Aspirants must be the citizen of India, non-resident Indian (NRI), and holder of PIO or OCI will also be considered for the exam.The NRIs or applying with the PIO or OCI card provided by the government of India through the division of international students.

Age Criteria- The aspirants should attain 17 years during the admission year on 31 December.

  • Age: Candidates born between July 1, 1998, to July 1, 2003, are eligible to apply.
  • Nationality: Indian National or NRI, holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply.
  • Qualifying Exam: 12th or equivalent exam passed or appearing candidates can apply for SRMJEEE.
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have to score minimum 60% in PCM (for Kanthalkulathar Campus), 50% in PCM (For Ghaziabad (NCR), Sonipat, Ramapur campuses) and 75% in PCM (For SRM Amravati Campus).
  • Direct Admission Criteria: Top 100 rankers in IIT JEE, Top rankers of a central & state board of examination and Top rankers from each district of Tamil Nadu & exemplary sportsperson at the national & International level will also be eligible for direct admissions.

Qualification Criteria

All B.Tech Courses

Qualifying exam: Successful completion of the high school exam (10 + 2) of any State Council in India, CBSE, registration, ISCE or NIOS.
Topics: Passed the previous exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
The minimum number of points: Overall scores of 60% were obtained (for the campuses of Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani) and 55% of general qualifications (for the NCR campus, Delhi) in PCM subjects.
Possible candidates may also apply.
Candidates must pass an International Baccalaureate (IB) exam with PCM as core subjects in all international schools in India.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology, Biomedical, and Genetic Engineering)

Qualification exam: Successful 10 + 2 exam from any state board in India, CBSE, Registry, ISCE or NIOS.
Subjects: They passed the exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Biotechnology as main subjects.
The minimum number of points: Overall scores of 60% were achieved (for the campuses of Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani) and 55% of general qualifications (for the NCR campus, Delhi) in GCP / BPC subjects.
Possible candidates may also apply.
Candidates also pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) exam with PCM / B as core subjects in all international schools in India.

SRMJEEE 2020 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: The examination will be designated via online.
  • Language: The questions will appear in the English language.
  • Duration: The exam will have a span of 2½ hours.
  • Number of Questions: Total 105 multiple choice types questions will be specified in the examination.
  • Subjects: The exam includes Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology subjects.
  • Marking Scheme:  For a correct response, three marks will be given to the aspirants.
  • Negative MarkingNo negative marking applies to the questions.

SRMJEEE 2020 Syllabus 

The SRMJEEE 2020 syllabus will be based on 11th & 12th standard including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology.

Physics:

Units and Measurement, Mechanics, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations and Wave Motions, Heat and Thermodynamics, Ray and Wave Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Atomic Physics and Relatively, Dual Nature of Matter and Nuclear Physics, Electronics & Communication.

Chemistry:

Atomic Structure, States of matter, Chemical Families: Periodic Properties, Chemical Bonding, Molecular Structure and s & p- block elements, Chemical Thermodynamics & Energetic, Solutions, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Catalysis and Nuclear Chemistry, Purification and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Some Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Polymers, Biomolecules.

Mathematics:

Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants and their Applications, Combinatorics, Algebra, Differential Calculus and its applications, Integral Calculus & Differential Equations of First order, Analytical Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics, and Probability.

Biology:

Botany: Taxonomy of Angiosperm, Plant Anatomy, Cell Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biology in Human Welfare.

Zoology: Human Physiology, Microbiology, Immunology, Modern Genetics and Animal Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Applied Biology, Theories of Evolution.

Preparation Tips

  • Make a daily calendar for each topic and topic.
  • Focus on important issues first, then try to solve difficult questions.
  • You must know the SRMJEEE template and the exam program.
  • Study of NCERT books and other study documents.
  • Solve document questions for the last 4-5 years.
  • You can also try a simulated test to practice.

SRMJEE 2020 Admit Card 

  • Aspirants should aware that admit card will not be sent by post personally. Hence it can be downloaded one or two weeks prior the beginning of the examination.
  • Once you’ve successfully downloaded the admit card, it will require taking it to the exam center. Bringing the copy of admit card is essential in an unforeseen situation.
  • The admit card will carry information like aspirant’s name, photograph, signature, place of the exam.

SRMJEE 2020 Result 

The examination authority will declare the result after an exam in online mode on the first week of May 2020.

  • For checking the result, aspirants will require using their details such as roll number and date of birth while downloading the result.
  • The SRMJEEE 2020 Result will include student’s marks, ranks, and performance in the entrance exam.
  • The result will also send in the candidate’s registration email ID & mobile number. A merit list will be generated because of marks obtained in the examination.
  • At the time of the announcement of the result, aspirants may view their All India Ranks Accompanied by scores.

SRMJEE 2020 Counselling 

  • They will be selected for counseling and admission due to performance in the examination.
  • Only candidates who secure the minimum cut off score or marks or above that cut-off score will be called to participate in one or more counseling round.
  • The counseling will be conducted in two ways defining the presence of seats. It will be organized by both online and offline.
  • During the counseling, process candidates will have to produce essential documents, both original and photocopies for verification.
  • If a student does not satisfy the cut-off score for a preferred course will have another chance to apply for it. Through this prospect, they are guaranteed to see improvement in the ratings.
  • Students need to submit documents in original along with copies of all the certificates at the time of admission.
  • Full tuition fees and other additional charges will have to be submitted during the counseling once they have made their choice make their selection course.
  • Each student will get a temporary Allotment letter to ensure their admission
