Nativity:

  • Candidates belonging to other states cannot claim nativity of Tamil Nadu.
  • Candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu and have studied 8th Std to 12th standard in schools of Tamil Nadu and studied Diploma in Nursing course for a period of 3 or 3 ½ years in Tamil Nadu do not need to upload their “Nativity Certificate.”
  • Permanent Residence Certificate in lieu of Nativity Certificate will not be accepted.
  • Candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu but studied from 8th Standard to 12th standard and Diploma in Nursing course for a period of 3 or 3 ½ years outside of Tamil Nadu, either partly or completely, should produce their Nativity Certificate issued by the competent authority of Tamil Nadu. Communal Reservation:

  • Candidates who are native to Tamil Nadu alone will be considered for communal reservation.
