TANCET Counselling 2019

TANCET 2019 Counseling has been Started on 15th July 2019. The result will consist of the merit list by marks of the candidates. The candidates will be called by merit list for the TANCET 2019 Counseling. Candidates will be selected on the bases of an entrance test score, and also they should be eligible.

  • The counseling session for various courses has been Started on 15th July 2019.
  • Candidates have to be present at counseling and have to carry documents for verification and Xerox copies of the same for submission.

Candidates must have acquired the minimum eligible marks category-wise to be a part of the counseling procedure:

TANCET 2019 Application Form

Start of TANCET 2019 Registrations has been Started from 8th May 2019 and End of Registrations is 31st May 2019. Candidates have to Fill TANCET 2019 Application Form and submit the application before the due dates as mentioned.

In this section, candidates can get all the relevant details related to the TANCET online application form.

  • Candidates can fill TANCET application form through online mode only.
  • Fill only one application form for all the three entrance tests.
  • TANCET 2019 Application Form has been Released on 8th May 2019.
  • Candidates have to fill and submit the application of TANCET 2019 till the 31st May 2019 (Extended).
  • After filling, application candidates have to upload the recently taken a photograph in the prescribed format.

Application Fee:

All candidates must pay application form fees compulsorily according to category wise.

  • The candidates have to pay  500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates)for each programme.
  • If candidates want to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, they have to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
  • The entrance test fee can be paid only through online(credit card/debit card/net banking).

How to Apply for TANCET

Go through the guidelines given below to fill the TANCET 2019 application form.

  • Go to the official website (link will be given above).
  • Click on the ‘Online Registration’ link.
  • Fill the registration details like candidate’s name, email id, date of birth and mobile number.
  • After that click on the ‘Register’ button.
  • A user ID and password will be sent to the registered email id or mobile number.
  • Login to fill the details in the application form with the login details (user Id and password).
  • Read the instruction and click on ‘Proceed’ button.
  • Fill details like personal, qualification, exam centre, etc.
  • Click on ‘choose file’ and upload the photograph in JPG/JPEG format with a file size of 20kb to 30kb.
  • Click on ‘preview’ button and then click on ‘Pay Now.’
  • After that, click on ‘Print Application Form’ to take the printout of the application form.


TANCET 2019 Eligibility criteria

Candidates must check full TANCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria. Candidates who fail to know they may face difficulty at registration. Check tests according to courses wise because different courses have different criteria.

Other state candidates are eligible to apply, but the admitting authority/University will fix the eligibility conditions. Below is mentioned the eligibility criteria for various offered courses.

  • For MBA: Candidate those pass the minimum of 3 years of bachelor’s degree with 50% or above marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) can apply.
  • For MCA: Candidate should have a bachelor degree in any stream with mathematics at 10+2 level or graduate level a with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
  • For MCA Lateral Entry: Candidates should have the bachelor degree in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.
  • For M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan: Candidates should have a UG degree in relevant field with 55% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates).
  • Appearing Candidates: Such candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification Requirement in Detail:

For M. Tech/M. Arch/M.E./M. Plan:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the respective disciplines
  • Minimum Marks: One should qualify the qualifying degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% for the candidates belong to SC/ST categories).
  • GATE Score: Candidates those have valid GATE scorecard from 2017, 2019, 2019 can also apply.

For MBA:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum Marks: Must pass with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree examination.

For MCA:

  • Qualifying Exam: Must have the Bachelor’s degree in mathematics at 10+2 and graduation level.
  • Minimum Marks: Should secure at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).

For MCA (Lateral Entry):

  • Qualifying Exam: Must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology) with mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduate level.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks, and 45% marks SC/ST.

TANCET Exam Pattern 2019

TANCET 2019 Exam Pattern contains the Mode of Examination, Duration of Exam, Type of Questions, Language of Exam, and Sections, etc. candidates should check the exam pattern of TANCET 2019 before starting off their preparation process.

TANCET 2019 Syllabus
