TDU 2024 Application Process

Applier needs to know the full eligibility criteria of Trans-disciplinary University 2024, different courses have specific criteria prescribed by the authority. To apply for exam and admission candidates will need to fulfill all the criteria of Transdisciplinary University 2024.

• Applicants should apply under the specific categories as mentioned below (a) General (b) Domicile Karnataka (c) NRI/ Foreign. General: The aspirants who are not the domicile in Karnataka must apply for this category. The admissions are based on the process of having an application assessment following the interview, which has ultimately led to the students’ admission.
• Foreign/ NRI: Nonresidential Indians or the Indian nationals are supporting the NRI relatives for applying under the NRI/Foreign The admissions are there especially on the basis of the marks which are obtained in the examination to qualify. The students who apply in this specific category for getting the certificate of Equivalence from AIU, New Delhi and scoring at least 6.5 in the IELTS or examination to qualify for the English language proficiency test.
• Domicile Karnataka: The aspirants of the domicile for 5 years or more in Karnataka for applying under this specific category. The admission is based through the process by which the assessment of application after which the interview is followed, this specifically leads to students admission. The students are applying in this specific category that is requisite of submission of 5 years study certificate in Karnataka for the duly attested by the respective Block Education Officer.

Admission to any program at TDU is a two step process.

1. Shortlisting: It is not mandatory that all the applicants, who have filled the application forms, would be invited for an interview. All completely filled in application forms, would primarily be screened for their correctness and adherence to specified regulations and passed on to an admissions committee established by the Registrar (Academics). Applications without proper supporting documentation will not be accepted. For the shortlisting of applicants, the committee members will evaluate the applications on the basis of academics as well as non-academic achievements furnished by the applicant.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation to appear for an interview by email. The candidate should respond within the specified deadline. The interview will be conducted by a panel comprising of not less than two members, who are nominated by the Registrar (Academics). The selection will be based on parameters like the purpose of doing research, a track record of academic and non-academic achievements, communication skills, the confidence level of the applicant, and general awareness of challenges in the field chosen for research. It is important for all applicants to note:

• The admission process at TDU is solely based on the merit of the applicant.
• The final selection will be notified by an email sent to the candidate.
• Candidates offered admission must send their acceptance by email within the deadline informed on the website and/or on email.
• The University may put some students on a wait list.
