TISSNET is referred to as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) National entrance test NET which conducts by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. TISSNET 2020 Result
The Result of TISSNET 2020 has been Declared on 4th February 2020 by online mode. TISS releases the results in the form of the scorecard. Candidate can access the admit card by entering their email id and password.

TISSNET Admit Card 2020
Those who have successfully registered their application that Candidates only can download their admit cards online. Candidates can download TISSNET 2020 Admit Card through online mode. Admit Card has been available from 20th December 2019. The candidate also receives a link to download the admit card on their registered mail id.

TISSNET 2021
The TISSNET 2021 Exam is managed by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) to offer admission to the applicants in all Masters programs offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut, and G-SET Ranchi. The TISSNET 2021 Application Form will be available from last week of October till 2nd week of December 2021.
TISSNET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Here the Eligibility criteria for TISSNET are provided all candidates who wish to take admission have to check whether they can apply or not for the exam. If the candidate fails to know their application will be canceled directly at the time of admission. To ask candidates should pass a bachelor’s degree (minimum of three years duration) or equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to apply to take a look at full criteria provided below.
Students can check their eligibility for MA programs below:
- Qualifying Exam: Students must hold a bachelor’s degree in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 from any recognized university.
- Appearing Candidates: Students, who will satisfy all the requirements of their bachelor’s degree examination by 2nd June 2020 are also eligible.
- At the time of applying candidates studying in a 3-year degree program should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4-year degree programs should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester.
- Qualification: Applying candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent from a recognized authority in any discipline.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the test.
- Appearing: Candidates in their final year of graduation degree are also eligible to apply for TISSNET 2020. Candidate studying in their final year of graduation but have not passed in all the subjects of their previous year are not eligible to apply for any of the master’s courses by TISSNET.
- For LLM: Applying candidate must have passed in LLB Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board or university.
TISSNET 2020 Exam Pattern
The Exam will be held on 4th January 2020. The question paper of TISS will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. Question asked will be related to subjects of Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and Knowledge on Contemporary issues. This should be completed in 100 minutes, i.e., 1 hour and 40 minutes. There is no negative marking mentioned yet.
Candidates who are invited have to attain Pre-Written Test and Personal Interview. For Pre-Written Test, candidates will be given two sections to attempt in which Section one will have essay writing on the theme related to contemporary socio-political, an economic, cultural and political significance which should be less than 1000 words and Section two will be comprised of questions related to the given case study.

- Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted in online mode (computer-based test).
- Exam Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 40 minutes (2: PM to 3:40 PM).
- No. of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the question paper.
- Subjects: The questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning & English Proficiency.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking for the wrong answer.

TISSNET 2020 Cut Off
To get admission in various campuses of TISS, students have to qualify the entrance test of TISSNET 2020. Students must clear their test by obtaining the cut off marks prescribed for various categories.
As per the last year’s trends, for General candidates, the cutoff score was 45% and 35% for ST/SC candidates.
In case two or more candidates score the same marks, TISS will shortlist the candidates using the tie-breaking criteria. The tie-breaker criterion will involve a comparison of marks of the candidates at various levels.

At the time of GD and PI rounds, students will be tested on their knowledge of the subject chosen. After Interview rounds, students will be placed in the merit list or waitlist which will be released online.
- Students will be pre-selected for the PI and PIT entry rounds according to the TISS NET scores.
- TISSNET 2020 Personal Interview will be started on 8th June 2020.
- It will be carried out offline in different TISS campuses.
- The CAT/MAT/CET/GRE /GMAT scores will not be considered for admission.
- A merit list will be established based on the entrance test and all admission rounds.
