The Anna University is the popularly known university of Tamil Nadu. The various engineering colleges are affiliated to the Anna University for candidates and those applicants are seeking to get Admission in these colleges, they can fill the application form through online mode. The TNEA 2019 Counseling has been Started on 3rd July 2019. and those candidates are shortlisted in the merit list by the admission committee, only they can attend the counseling procedure at the counseling avenue. All the selected candidates have to compulsorily attend the counseling procedure with necessary documents. At the Chennai Campus, the counseling will be held for candidates.

On the basis of seat availability, document verification, merit list, the seat allotment will be done in the counseling session. Candidates will get the call letter for counseling through online mode.

TNEA 2019 cut off will be released After Result. The cut off marks are the minimum marks which will be fixed by the Anna University to screen the candidates for further rounds of the admission process.

The counseling process is organized after the release of the rank list. Here we have mentioned the tentative schedule of TNEA counseling 2019:

The candidates can check the TNEA counseling, those are selected by the admission committee as per their merit list. After the merit list selection, the candidates will get call letter from authority and the following procedure has given below for candidates.

TNEA 2019 Counselling Call letter 

The TNEA Counseling call letter will be offered by the admission authority to the shortlisted candidates on their Email ID. The candidates have to download the call letter on which the date, time and address of counseling will be mentioned for candidates. Applicants have to take the printout of the call letter for future proof.

Candidates have to carry the call letter at the counseling center and it is necessary for candidates to be present at the counseling venue.

Counseling Steps

The candidates have to check the following steps mentioned below. The counseling will be conduct through offline mode. Candidates have to attend the counseling in person or authorized their parents or guardians to attend it in case of unseen circumstances.

Payment of TNEA Counseling fee 

Candidates have to pay the counseling fee at the bank counter due to reporting at the counseling center. The candidates have to submit the call letter to pay the fee. On the bank counter, the fee will be remittance. Students will get the receipt from the bank of paying the fee at the counseling session. The receipt or challan photocopy should be done by candidates for future use.

Those students have not got the call letter; they required to come two hours before the counseling session begins along with their original documents for verification.

Verification of Documents at Counseling

Candidates has to carry all the required documents at the counseling center after paying the fee for document verification.

  • Candidates should arrange their certificates for verification and only one person can come with the candidates at the counseling center.
  • All of the verification documents should be original and after that candidates will be allowed to go for next procedure.
  • After the successful verification, the candidates will be select for admission in Anna University.
  • Those will not be eligible or found any discrepancies; the candidates will be rejected at the counseling center.

TNEA Seat Allotment

According to the ranking of candidates, the seat will be available for them after shortlisting and in the counseling session, the candidates have to select 5-10 choices of colleges as branch wise in the required field. Candidates have to make three choices out of which they are allotted one subject to availability.

The students have to collect the allotment order from the allotment order section after the seat allotment and on that allotment order; candidates have to verify the course and colleges

Before the last date of enrolment, candidates have to take the allotment order to the respective college.

The admission will be done under seven categories such as OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, and ST reservation. The Government of Tamil Nadu has made this rules, which should be followed by candidates.
