TJEE 2018 has been Declared on 3rd July 2018. TJEE referred to Tripura Joint Entrance Exam which is held by the Directorate of Higher Education, Tripura. A Tripura JEE exam is held in the month of April 2018. The Tripura JEE is a state level entrance exam which would be held in the state of Tripura. Candidates can apply for UG engineering program through Tripura joint entrance exams.

The application form would be available on the 2nd January 2018. The entrance examination provides admission to all candidates who are elected into the engineering institutes of the state of Tripura. Admit cards of Tripura JEE will be sent to all applied candidates through the post to all registered applicants from Last week of March

To participate in the admission procedure candidates will be needed to register themselves. The application form of Tripura JEE concluded for all eligible applicants in both offline and online mode. On the bases on their marks, candidates will be granted admission in Tripura JEE.

Tripura JEE 2018 Result

Tripura JEE 2018 Result has been Declared. The result of Tripura JEE 2018 entrance test would be discharged in the month of June 2018. Result show candidates score and rank obtained in the exam. Candidates can download their result from official portal through online mode.

Result tells about that whether the candidate would be eligible to participate in the next round or not. To log in on official portal candidates have to type Id proof details and password don’t enter incorrect detail in the website if candidates have type incorrect details website will shoe error.

Tripura JEE 2018 – Results:

  • The results will be released online on the official website of the exam.
  • The links to check the same will be mentioned on this page and the exam scores can be checked by all the candidates on this page.
  • The admissions will be done on the basis of the marks secured in the exam.

Application 2018 form

The TJEE 2018 application form and prospectus can also be obtained from select centers on cash payment of Rs. 100 from January 2 until January 31, 2018. The last date to submit completed application form of TJEE 2018 in person at TBJEE counter is January 31; last day for receipt by post is February 7. Application fee can be paid from January 2 to January 31. TBJEE will conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2018 on April 25-26, 2018. The board will conduct TJEE 2018 in offline mode across 10 venues for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at 4 participating institutes.

The steps are shown here for the convenience of the aspirants for the admission process. The Application Form of Tripura JEE will be available for the month of January 2018. The form of Tripura JEE can be filled by offline mode only. The application form can be obtained through various modes like By post, by cash, and Download from the official website.


All applier have to pay application form fees otherwise their form will not be accepted and they cannot give the exam. Candidates have to pay application form fees according to candidate category wise. General candidates have pay- Rs. 350/-, ST/ SC category candidates – Rs. 300/-, General candidates (BPL) – Rs. 200/- and ST/ SC candidate (BPL) have to pay Rs. 250/- for applications form.

  • Application Forms will be released ONLINE as well as OFFLINE.
  • Exam board will host the forms ONLINE on the Official Website and the Offline forms will be sold at some authorized form sale counters.
  • Apart from that, there will be NO OTHER THIRD PARTY form selling agencies.
  • So don’t go for any other unauthorized form sellers for Tripura JEE 2018 Entrance Exam.

  • To obtain the forms for the Entrance Exam of Tripura JEE 2018, you can write a request letter to “Office of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination”.
  • You have to send the letter along with a PO (postal order) of Rs. 80/-.
  • This PO should be payable at Agartala Head Post Office.
  • Along with the letter, you have to send a self – addressed envelope (30 cm X 13 cm) bearing a postage stamp of Rs. 5/-.
  • You will be sent the application along with the brochure of TJEE 2018 Entrance Exam via Post.


  • Every candidate will have to submit the form fee which is Rs. 80/-.
  • Apart from this fee, you have to submit the ENROLLMENT FEE which is as follows for every category:

ST and SC candidates: Rs. 300/-

UR Candidates: Rs. 350/-

  • BPL category candidates have to submit the following amount as enrolment fee for TJEE 2018:

ST and SC: Rs. 200/-

UR: 250/-

  • The enrollment fee for the test is to be submitted via the State Bank of India e – Challan.
  • This challan will be available for download on the Official Website.

After the applications have been filled, you have to send them to the admissions office of Tripura JEE 2018.

Event Roll after the Exam:

  • Answer Key for the entrance exam will be hosted in the month of April 2018 (last week) on the official website.
  • This answer key can be used for marks estimation and in case of any query or objection the Board can be addressed within FIVE days.
  • After that, the answer key will be frozen.
  • The result of TJEE 2018 test will be hosted online by June 2018 (First Week).
  • Proper merit lists will be released by TBJEE.
  • TBJEE will NOT entertain any conversation regarding the re-evaluation of exam papers.

Tripura JEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility criteria are provided below to check whether applier candidates fulfill all criteria to apply or not. Eligibility criteria show details of age criteria, qualification criteria and minimum marks required etc. Before filling form read all detail carefully and then fill application.

Applier candidates should be Indian or residence of Tripura and who have their 10+2 exam from the recognized board are eligible to apply for the B.Tech program. To apply candidates should complete 10+2 and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects. Candidates are would do their 10+2 in 2018, are also eligible.

CRITERION 1 – Nationality and Resident Status:

  • Your nationality should be INDIAN.
  • State of Permanent Residence: Tripura

CRITERION 2 – Number of Years of Residence at Tripura:

  • Either you or your parents must have maintained a permanent residence of at least 10 years immediately before submission of an application for TJEE 2018.
  • Wards of All India Services Officers of Tripura – Manipur cadre and State Govt. Employees who have been posted outside Tripura will be eligible for admissions no matter how many years of residence they have maintained at the State.
  • The wards of Ex-Servicemen need to have maintained a permanent residence of FIVE YEARS at the state immediately prior to applying for TJEE 2018 Entrance Test. All such candidates must have taken and passed or going to take the qualifying exam in the state of Tripura.
  • Wards of SERVING DEFENCE PERSONNEL (Tripura origin) must have stayed for at least FIVE years in Tripura immediately before filling the application. They must have passed or going to pass the qualifying exam from any recognized institution in the State.

CRITERION 3 – Qualifying Exam:

  • You must have taken and passed the HSE or Class XII exam of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (or CBSE).
  • As per the norms of TJEE 2018, the subject combination for the qualifying exam should be same as that of Entrance Exam.

CRITERION 4 – Earlier Admitted Candidates:

  • If you have taken the Tripura JEE in the previous year and have been allotted a Seat via it; then you are NOT eligible for admission via Tripura JEE 2018 in any college unless the earlier allotment was cancelled by you within SEVEN days.

Now let’s have an overview of the exam pattern. Though the exam board has to announce the pattern of an exam; the following information is furnished on the basis of past year trends and can be read to have an understanding of exam.

Tripura JEE 2018 Pattern

The question will be asked from four different subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Total 100 marls are for Full marks question paper of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology candidates is going to be serve 2 hours not more than that. They have to complete paper on time. The syllabus for each subject is divided into 10 Modules.

A Module carries 10 marks.MCQ and objective type questions will be asked for each subject. For each question Module for each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology there will be 50 (fifty) compulsory MCQs, taking 5 (five) questions. Each question will carry 2 (two) marks. Each question will have four options (i.e. A, B, C, D) out of which the correct option (A/B/C/D) is only to be selected.


  • Number of Exams: FOUR
  • Name of Exams under TJEE 2018 Exam: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Maths.
  • Exams to be attempted by Engineering Aspirants: PCM.
  • Papers for Medical Aspirants: PCB.
  • Type of Questions: MCQs.
  • Marks for every section: 100
  • Duration of Each Exam: 2 hrs
  • TBJEE has divided the complete exam syllabus for each subject into TEN MODULES. Every module will carry TEN MARKS.
  • Tripura JEE 2018 will have FIVE questions from each module making a total of 50 questions on each subject.
  • TWO MARKS will be awarded for every RIGHT answer. Thus making the total marks for each subject to be 100.
  • Negative Marking: Not Used
  • Marking of Answers: On OMR sheet with Black or Blue Ball Point Pen.

Admit cards/Hall ticket

To download Tripura JEE hall ticket candidate must register and applied for the exam only that candidates can download admit cards. After Appling application for admission candidate will be given login password and ID that should be kept safe it will be needed to download hall tickets from Tripura JEE official site.

Candidates have to type ID and password on the website to download follow given below steps. once the announcement is made, the candidate must log into the official site and download their respective. How to Download the Admit Card

Candidates can follow the given simple steps to download admit card/hall ticket:

  • Visit the official link
  • Log in by entering your Email ID, DOB & Roll No. or your Application Number & Verification Code.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Now, admit card displays on the screen.
  • Download and take the printouts of admit card for further references.


Candidates who are interested can apply for counseling.  While appear carry requirement document for registration purpose if candidates fail to submit correct documents their application will be canceled. Admission will be based on the rank of the entrance exam.

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) conduct admission to candidate into undergraduate engineering programmes across the state engineering colleges.

The counseling session will be conducted from 1st week of July. A merit list will be based on merit ranks in the entrance exam along with preferred branches & colleges by the candidates. Tripura JEE 2018 Syllabus


The Syllabus of Tripura JEE exam would be released by the authorities before the examination date. Candidates have to check syllabus according to their course selected. The candidate can download it from official portal and study according to the syllabus of the exam.

To crack paper and score qualifying marks candidate must read syllabus once. Candidates are suggested to study according to the paper pattern and the syllabus to cover all the topics and clear all the doubt about the marks.
