TSTET 2019: Application, Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern, Selection
TSTET stands for Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test. Department of School Education, Govt. of Telangana conducts this test, in order to recruit for the post of Teachers in the state. TSTET exam is conducted once in a year. There are two levels of TSTE, Primary & Upper Primary. Applicants who qualify for paper-I can teach class I-V & who qualifies for paper-II can teach class VI-VIII.
Eligible candidates are requested to apply only after reading all the required guidelines mentioned by Telangana Board on their official website.

TSTET 2019 Online Application Form
- TSTET 2019 Online Application starts from 2nd week of June 2019.
- TSTET 2019 Online application Form ends on the 4th week of June 2019
- Candidates need to fill the Online Application form, from the official website.
- Candidates must fill all their personal information carefully & also academic in order to apply for this exam.
- Candidates need to upload their documents only a scanned copy.
- Candidates need to read all the guidelines which are mentioned on the official website.
TSTET 2019 Online Application Fees
- TSTET 2019 Online Application Fee starts from 2nd week of June 2019.
- TSTET 2019 Online Application Fee ends on last week of June 2019.
- TSTET 2019 Online Application Fee is Rs.200/- for all Category.
- TSTET 22018 Application fee can be paid through Online payment gateway only.
- There is no other mode to pay Application Fee.
TSTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
For paper-I
- Candidates must have passed HSC with 50% marks or its equivalent.
- Candidates shall pass in 2year in Diploma in Elementary Education OR 4 year B.El.Ed.
For Paper-II
- Candidates passed in B.S/B.Sc/B.Com with 50% marks and also in B.Ed.
- Candidates passed in 4year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed with 50% marks.

TSTET 2019 Exam Syllabus
For Paper-I
Child Development and Pedagogy | The syllabus shall focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with the focus on understanding for characteristics and needs of diverse, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning |
Mathematics | The test items of Mathematics and Environmental Studies shall focus on the concepts, problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects. In all these subject areas, the test items shall be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject prescribed for classes I – V by SCERT. |
Language – I (English)
| Teaching Learning Materials, Principles of Teaching English, Unseen Prose Passage Comprehensive & Continuous Evaluation, Development of Language Skills, Teaching, Learning Materials, Unseen Prose Passage etc. |
Language – II

TSTET 2019 Admit Card
- Candidates can download their TSTET Admit Card from official website on 1st week of July 2019.
- Candidates must note that the TSTET Admit card is an essential document and they should carry to the Exam center.
- Candidates can download the TSTET admit card from the official website.
- TSTET Admit card will be available before a week prior to the Exam.
- No Physical Admit Card will be sent to students appearing for the exam.
- Candidates must not forget their Admit card on the day of the exam, otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to seat in the exam.
TSTET Exam Result
- TSTET Result will be disclosed soon after the exam.
- TSTET Result will be declared on the official website.
- Candidates can view their result by providing their registration no on the official portal.
- Candidates who clear the Entrance Exam will be eligible for a personal round interview.
STET Selection Procedure
- Participants selection process will be done based on the performance in the TSTET Entrance Exam conducted by Tripura State Government.
- Participants will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in the Entrance Exam.
- Participants also have to go for the Final Round Personal Interview.
The validity of TSTET Certificate
All qualified Applicants will have Seven years of the validity period for TSTET certificate from the date of result announcement for all category candidates (consisting both reserved & unreserved category).
