Uttarakhand Ayurved University 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun, commonly known as, UAU was established in the year 2009 from the government of Uttarakhand under the Uttarakhand Ayurved University Act, 2009. The institution was formed with an aim to carry a socio-economic improvement in the newly formed state of Uttarakhand. Division of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology has also employed a working group of eminent Scientists for the objective of improving the implementation of basic sciences in Ayurvedic research.

Uttarakhand Ayurved University created by the government of Uttarakhand on an autonomous body offering in higher education. It has ten colleges partnered with it who are offering courses in Ayurved, Unani and Homoeopathic. Currently, UAU offers classes in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, MD/MS in Ayurved, and Ph.D. in Ayurveda.

Admissions are strictly done according to merit ranks guaranteed by the candidates in the Pre-Medical Test conducted by the University. The selection of a course will be based on merit-cum-choice means. The allotment of seats will be performed during University level counseling. Candidates in the merit list have to participate personally by registering with counseling, document validation, and confirm admissions.

All eligible candidates will be first required to submit an application for UG/ PG entrance test on the concerned authorities’ official website in online mode only. After qualification for the entrance exam, each candidate is required to display for counseling conducted by the University.

• Candidates applying for UG courses need to apply at the UAU official website by remitting an application fee of INR 3500/- (for General/OBC candidates) as well as to INR 2500/- (for SC/ST/PWD candidates) through an online payment gateway.
• Application for that appears in the AIAPGET 2024 examination has been invited online through website www.aiapget.com, www.aiia.co.in www.ayush.gov.in
• The registration fee of INR 1250/- (for SC/ST/PWD candidates) and INR 1750/- (for General/OBC candidates) must be submitted using a Credit Card/Debit Card or Internet banking.

UAU 2024 Admission Process

Admissions to BAMS, BHMS & BUMS will be affected according to merit the rank of candidates appearing in Uttarakhand Ayurved Pre-Medical Test (UAPMT). The entrance is being conducted by UAU.

Students must have gone through their class 12th examination in subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology and is protected by a minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply. Those interested in the application for PG courses of MS/MD in Ayurved should appear in All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIA-PGET).

The educational eligibility criteria for MD/MS is passed in a BAMS degree from an Ayurvedic College recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine. Admission will be given on available places in the graduate and postgraduate courses through counseling carried out by UAU on merit cum choice basis.

The application will be made by registering for entrance tests and counseling in the online mode on the official website of UAU/AIA-PGET. For admissions to Ph.D. Ayurved candidates need to be eligible for Research Entrance Test conducted by the University.

The allotment of seats to eligible applicants will be taken by the Counselling Board on physical attendance, along with original documentation as per the merit and choice of the course. Time and place of counseling will be informed through website www.uau.ac.in.

No warning will be sent to the candidate either by mail or email. It is the duty of the candidate to appear for counseling as per the announced date. Applicants will have to file a registration fee of the requisite amount at the time of counseling through Bank Draft. To confirm the seat in a course a candidate must pay the partial tuition fees by Bank Draft.

Reservation

In each course, 50% of seats are reserved for Uttarakhand domicile nominees and the remaining 50% seats for candidates from other states. Reservation under Uttarakhand seats will be in accordance with the rules of the Government. One seat at every institution will be reserved for Kashmiri Migrant.

• Candidates who had qualified UGC/CSIR- JRF test or equivalent national tests like ICMR JRF, DBT JRF, etc. will be excluded from the Research Entrance Test and will be given direct admission.
• Those that appear in the PG Final Year Examination will be able to apply provisionally for the entrance examination.
• A regular instruction faculty member of the University/Affiliated colleges are eligible to apply only if they have been serving for a period of a minimum of 1 year as per University/State rules.
