The  UKSEE Advanced for providing admission to various technical and professional courses is conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). Admission is offered to the candidate in UTU departments and affiliated institutions. The courses are offered to candidate M.Tech, MBA, M.Pharm, LL.B, LL.M, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed and Doctoral Courses.

A candidate who has Qualified GATE/GPAT/CMAT are exempted from taking the UKSEE Advanced entrance exam for admission into the M.Tech/M.Pharma/MBA courses. UKSEE Advanced is a state level entrance examination.

UTU is responsible for organizing the UKSEE Advanced for the purpose of getting admission in several technical and professional fields. The courses are prominent in UTU department and other related colleges. The degrees such as Ph.D., M. Tech, M. Pharma, MBA, LLM, LLB, M. P.Ed. and B. P.Ed courses. GATE/GPAT/CMAT are provided going through an entrance exam. The students who become eligible for admission in UKSEE Advanced exam will be able to get degrees(M.Tech/M.Pharma/MBA). The students take admission in the mentioned degrees as per scores obtained in an entrance exam.

UKSEE Advanced examination is conducted for a candidate for admission in various post graduations courses in the field of Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy and Many Others. Candidate will get admission on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in entrance exams.

Online application form will be available from 3rd week of May and the Last date to submit the application form is 2nd week of June. The candidate is advised to fill application before the due dates if candidates fill it after the due date candidate application will be canceled.

Before filling application read all detail carefully and write your detail in it in the correct manner as given in format. Through official portal candidate can fill the application form in online mode.  Candidate filing application through online mode has to upload the scanned image of the recent photograph.

  • Applications for UKSEE Advanced 2018 will be available through online
  • UKSEE Advanced 2018 application form will be accessible from the 3rd week of May 2018 tentatively.
  • The last date to submit the application form will be the 2nd week of June 2018.
  • Candidates have to complete the application form in all respects including the payment of the fee.
  • After the submission of a form, no editing option will be provided.
  • All the applicants are advised to retain the copy of filled-in application form for their personal record.

UKSEE Advanced  Application Fee

Candidate can pay application fees through online mode as well as by offline mode. Candidates can pay application fees through the online medium like Credit/Debit Card. Once candidate pay application fees it will not be refunded back to them.

Aspirants have to pay application fees according to category wise. Candidate of General/OBC has to pay Rs. 1500/- and for SC/ST candidates has to pay Rs. 800/- for application form fees. Candidate must keep printed copies of filled application form.

  • The application fee will be  1500/-for General/OBC candidates
  • And  800/-for SC/ST candidates in case of applying for an M.Tech program.


UKSEE Advanced  Eligibility Criteria

The aspirants taking admission in M.Tech must have the passing certificate at some prominent college.

Students should have 10+2 certificate with 60% marks obtained but it applies to OBC/GEN and the aspirants from SC/ST must have scored 55%

The eligibility criteria vary from courses to courses. Before opting for courses they must be knowing about the criteria. It is seen that the students are unable to notice the rules that take up while getting admission. Hence, it is suggested that they must read every detail rigorously at the time of form filling.

Different eligibility criteria are for different courses. Candidate must check full criteria before applying whether you are eligible to apply or not. Sometimes candidate’s fails to know criteria affect them at the time of taking admission. So the candidate is advised before applying take a look at criteria read all detail carefully and then fill application.

For M.Tech Programme:

  • Qualifying Examination: The qualification required to apply for M.Tech is B.Tech passed from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with minimum 60% marks for GEN/OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST categories).
  • Possessing Valid GATE Scores:Candidates having valid and qualified GATE scores are not required to appear in University entrance examination.

For M.Pharma Programme:

  • Qualifying Examination:The prescribed qualification is B.Pharm or equivalent from PCI recognized institution.
  • Minimum Marks:In the qualifying examination, candidate should have atleast 55% marks (50% for SC/ST categories).
  • Possessing Valid GPAT Scores:Candidates having valid and qualified GPAT scores are not required to appear in University entrance examination.

For MBA Programme:

  • Qualifying Examination:Candidate must have completed/appearing graduation in any stream from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum Marks:Graduation should be passed with atleast 50% aggregate marks.

UKSEE Advanced Exam Pattern

UKSEE Advanced appearing candidate will be given 2 hours to complete paper no extra time will be given to any candidate according to board’s rules and regulations. Candidates have to attain exams in offline mode pen & paper based test. In exams total, 100 Question will be asked o candidates and MCQ type of question will be asked.


Exam a paper is divided into two sections. Section-I will contain questions from general engineering science while Section-II includes questions from the subjects of discipline for which candidate is applying. Paper language is English. For each correct answer, candidate will be given 5 marks.

Here, we are providing the details of UKSEE Advanced exam pattern for M.Tech course:

  • Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted as pen and paper based test.
  • Number of Questions: The question paper will contain total 100 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Only MCQ type questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
  • Sections: Two sections will be there in the examination. Section-I will contain questions from general engineering science while Section-II includes questions from the subjects of discipline for which candidate is applying.
  • Language: The medium of question paper will be English.
  • Exam Duration: 2 hours will be given to solve the question paper.
  • Marking Scheme: Each right answer will earn 5 marks.


UKSEE Advanced Admit Card

Admit cards/Hall ticket will be released by authority on online mode. Candidate can download their hall ticket through online mode in official portal. Those candidates successfully submitted their application can only download admit cards. Candidate can keep printed copies of admit cards for further use.

Candidates have to carry their hall ticket at the exams hall if fails to bring candidates will not be permitted to write exams. Admit cards/hall ticket is a mandatory document it candidate’s responsibility to keep safe until the end of the examination. Admit cards contain candidates detail such as address, name, the birth of dates, seat number, center, exams time etc.


UKSEE Advanced Exam Pattern

UKSEE Advanced is two hours’ exam with no additional time provided to the students as per instruction of the exam officials. The exam constitutes of written form through the offline medium. There will be total 100 questions in the exam. The questions will have MCQ designation. There include two parts in the question paper, first part is featuring questions on General Engineering Science and second part is consisting of questions on Discipline. The language used in question paper is English.

How to Download the UKSEE Advanced Admit Card

Candidates can follow  the given simple steps to download admit card/hall ticket:

  • Visit the official link
  • Log in by entering your Email ID, DOB & Roll No. or your Application Number & Verification Code.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Now, admit card displays on the screen.
  • Download and take the printouts of admit card for further references.

UKSEE Advanced Result

Authority will release result on the official portal on the 4th week of June. Candidates can check their result through online mode. By entering registration Id and DOB in official portal candidate can check their result.

Candidate can check their ranks score secure by them in entrance exams through the result. You can save in laptop/computer or can take the screenshot of a page in a phone. Candidate can keep printed copies of result for admission process.


The details of the UKSEE Advanced Result:

  • The marks obtained by the candidates will be announced through the UKSEE Advanced Result.
  • Counselling and admissions to the M.Tech programmes in Uttarakhand will be on the basis of the UKSEE Advanced Result.
  • Candidates who qualify in the UKSEE Advanced 2016 exam will be called for the Uttarakhand M.Tech Admission.


 How to Check the UKSEE Advanced Result:

  • Candidates must log in and enter their Uttarakhand M.Tech Application ID and Date of Birth.
  • They can access the UKSEE Advanced Result and check their marks.
  • The candidate’s details will be displayed along with the category, qualifying marks, rank obtained in the UKSEE Advanced Result.
  • Candidates can download the same and print it to be furnished during Uttarakhand M.Tech Counselling
  • Candidates are advised to safe keep the UKSEE Advanced Result printout till the admissions are completed.


UKSEE Advanced  Answer Key

Authority will release answer key of UKSEE Advanced after the exams are over. Candidate can access the websites of UTU answer key by entering correct detail in site. This will give you the rough idea or reference pints of exams result and not a result itself.

UKSEE Advanced Counseling

A merit list will be prepared for candidates as per candidates secure marks in entrance exams. Candidates will invite according to merit list. Deserving candidate will be granted admission. The merit list is generated on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam. Aspirants are take part in the counselling based on performance and according to which the admission can be taken. Those going for counselling must provide the necessary credentials and they will be charged with counselling fee for selecting the college of their choice.

Candidates who are attain counseling have to bring requirement document for a verification process. Candidates are requested to submit all correct documents in counseling. The candidate has to pay the counseling fee for exercising the choices for colleges. Admission will be offered to the GATE/GPAT/CMAT qualified candidates. Candidates will be provided Admission into remaining seats to the qualified candidates of entrance exam.

UKSEE Advanced Cut-off marks

UKSEE Advanced Cut-off marks will be decided by the admission board of exam conducting authority Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination. The cut-off list provided by the Admission Board to allot admission to candidates for the current academic year each participating Institute either government or private of Uttarakhand Technical University should follow by them.

A cut-off mark is different for different courses. In official portal on online mode candidate can check the cut-off marks. UKSEE Advance Cut-off marks are set by authority Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination once changes are made by them no further changes can be made by other.

Every year UKSEE Advance Cut-off marks changes according to score in qualification, based on the number of seats available etc. Candidates will get help through cut-off marks to select their favorite college according to secure marks in entrance exams.

UKSEE Advanced Syllabus
