UPCMET 2018 Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates
Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UPCPMT 2018) has been replaced by NEET exam.UPCMET (2018) stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance. UPCMET is a state-level examination. The UPCMET is conducted by the Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UMCWA), Uttar Pradesh. The Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UMCWA), Uttar Pradesh. is conducted for the admission in medical (MBBS) & dental (BDS) courses or programs. UPCMET courses are offered by various dental and medical colleges of Uttarakhand that are government as well as private colleges. Since 2016 the admission in this admission is usually based on the NEET score.
UPCMET consists of three papers which are of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) types. NEET (UPCMET) will have 3 attempts for those who have made 3 attempts prior to 2017 since this rule is applicable since 2016. UPCMET 2018 will continue with the same rule that NEET’s first attempt will be the only attempt and will be counted as one.
UPCMET counseling will be conducted in the second half or Mid of July 2018. The counseling for medical state quota seats will be organized by the same Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UMCWA), Uttar Pradesh. There will be many other activities that will be conducted for UPCMET and dates for those will be mentioned in the article below.

UPCMET Admit Card
The admit card to UPCMET will be issued by the authorities of UPCMET. The admission to UPCMET will now be based on NEET UG score. The only procedure that will happen is the filing of the registration form and directly after that, the counseling will get started for the private as well as government college of Uttarakhand. The counseling will be for Medical courses.
The admit card will be available on official website of UPCMET. The UPCMET will give admit card that will make the candidates information and thus candidates are requested to check the official website of the UPCMET regularly.
UPCMET Application Form
The application form will be available in online on the official portal of UPCMET only via online mode. The application form for UPCMET will not be provided through offline mode. Application Form will be available on online from the third week of October 2017. The last date to submit the UPCMET application forms will be in the second week of May 2018 (tentative). Candidate can fill application form of UPCMET exams through online on the official portal of the official website of the UPCMET.
In the application form, the candidate has to fill the following information candidate have advised filling the qualification code, Center of Examination, category, exam medium, gender and Adhaar number carefully. The candidate must scan their passport size photo in JPEG format. The size of the photo must be 4.5cm x 3.5cm memory should not exceed 200 Kbytes. With these compulsory conditions, the candidate must upload their along with the properly and completely filled application form.
NOTE: Candidates due to NEET only one application form is required and thus such documents are not mandatory and therefore the candidates must be ready with all the prerequisites mentioned above.
The candidate’s only one application form is accepted by the UPCMET conducting authority only and no offline means are available.
The detailed process for online or offline application form is given below:
- Download the application form and take the printout (for the future reference) of it.
- The application form will be available from the third week of October 2018.
- Candidates are required to fill all details in the application form carefully.
- Paste recent photograph in the application form.
- No other documents are required to attach with the application form of the UPCMET.
- Candidates have to submit the application form at the notified locations (as per center opted), on specified dates, along with self-attested copies of required documents.
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- for the UPCMET examination. If the candidate does not apply in the given amount of time or until the last date (given) then the candidate has to pay late fees. The candidates need to draw a demand draft (DD) in favor of “UPUMCWA” payable at “Bareilly (UP)”. The another option to pay the application fees is through debit or credit card or net banking.

Candidates have to pay the application fee before the due date. Late charged fees. Once payment is done it will not be refunded back to candidates. Candidates can pay the application fees online through different modes. These modes include credit card/debit card/net banking.
The payment for application form can be online. The online payment is done through credit card/debit card/net banking/NEFT.
Below is given application form fees of UPCMET exams:
- The application fee of UPCMET 2018 will be Rs. 1000/-
- Candidates have to submit the application fee by online mode as well as offline mode as mentioned above.
- The late fee will be charged if the candidate will fill the form after the last date of submission of application form.
- Candidates can pay through challan in the form of DD. The formation of DD will be only after the completion of the application form. The submission of both DD and application form will be together.
UPCMET (NEET) Eligibility Criteria
Candidate has to check they are eligible for applying or not if the candidate didn’t know about the basic detail they can face difficulty at the time of admission process. Candidate of the Indian citizen or Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are also eligible to apply. The minimum age of the applying candidate will be 17 and maximum he/she can apply till 25 years of their age.

The eligibility criteria for UPCMET 2018 are mentioned below:
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Students must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
- Candidates should have passed the 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
- Candidates must have secured minimum 50% aggregate in PCB group for general candidates (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply but they have to produce the marksheet at the time of counseling.
UPCMET (NEET) Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing UPCMET exams have to complete their paper in mentioned hours. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete paper. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each question. There will be two papers conducted Paper1 and Paper2. Paper1 will be of 200 marks and paper2 will be of 50 marks.
In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. The exam paper will be conducted in 2 different language that is English and Hindi. Candidates have to choose for their suitable language. There one will be only one question paper. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given 1 marks. There will be negative marking, 1/4 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.

UPCMET (NEET) Result
UPCMET (NEET) exams result will be published by the conducted authority through online, official portal of UPCMET. Candidates can check result from the second week of June 2018 (tentative). No individual score card will be issued to candidates. The result will be available in pdf format candidates can download and view the result. After the declaration of the result, the candidate must keep an eye on the websites like CBSE, Medical Counselling Committee, Participating Universities/ Institutions till the conclusion of the final round of Counselling.
To see result candidates have to enter detail in official portal page for correct page type correct detail. If candidates type wrong detail in page website will show error. All the candidates those are shortlisted in the result will get called by the authority for the counseling process.
- UPCMET (NEET) 2018 result will be published in the third week of May 2018.
- Candidates those appeared in the examination can check their results via online mode through the website.
- The individual score card will not be given to any candidate.
- On the basis of the result, the admission will be provided and then the candidates will be called for the selection procedure.
After the result announcement, UPCMET selection process will start. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form on official website of the UPCMET or other notified centers and obtain Acknowledgement card with registration number as a proof of form submission. The admission will be provided to the in MBBS/BDS programs.
If after the counseling the seat remains vacant then the admission will be done on the basis of HSSC that is 10+2 marks (qualifying exam). The procedure for seat allotment will be released on Mid-July.
Admission will be done on the basis of candidates score marks in entrance exams. Candidate appearing counseling has to bring all required documents for registration and verification. If candidates have submitted incorrect document candidates admission will be canceled. The candidates will be assigned the seats on the basis of merit list. Counselling process will comprise of registration, online document verification, choice filling and locking, counseling and seat allotment. After seat allotment, students have to report to the allotted college with required documents and prescribed fees.

The cut off will be decided by the authorities and on the basis of cutoff marks scored by the candidate in the examination (UPCMET). The list for cutoff will be released by the conducting authorities of UPCMET. The cutoff list will be set on the basis of how many candidates appeared in the examination.
UPCMET 2018 result will be announced online by the official authorities on the official website of the UPCMET by the conducting authorities. The result will be declared in the month of August 2018. The authority that is conducting the exam (UPCMET) will not release the result category wise.
After the result declaration, candidates will stay in touch with the websites of CBSE, Medical Counselling Committee, and Participating Universities/ Institutions until the conclusion of the final round of Counselling.
Syllabus for UPCMET is available on the official website of UPCMET. From there, candidates can download their syllabus. The candidates should focus on the officially given syllabus and prepare thoroughly for that.
The syllabus will consist of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
The syllabus of UPCMET will be prepared after analyzing the different states syllabi as well as those prepared by NCERT, CBSE, and COBSE.
