UPESEAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates wishing to apply for the entrance exam must check the required eligibility criteria before beginning the application procedure. The eligibility criteria, which talk about the nationality, qualification of the candidates, age limit, marks etc., are fixed by the conducting authority and need to be possessed by all the aspiring candidates. 

Candidates must go through the admission brochure published on the official website or the official notification released to understand the required eligibility criteria. One thing that needs to be remembered is that the aspiring candidate will be disqualified from the selection or admission process if he or she is not fit for admission. 

Nationality of the Applicant: According to the latest information, candidates of Indian or foreign origin are eligible to apply for the exam. 

Qualification Required: The candidates interested in the entrance must possess a minimum of 60% marks in their secondary and senior secondary standards. Failing to do so will not allow them to proceed further. 

Marks: The interested candidates must possess at least 60% marks in aggregate at the intermediate level in all the subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 

JEE Main: If the candidates wish to take admission on the basis of the JEE Main merit, they need to be qualified in the JEE Main Examination for 2023. JEE Main qualified candidates need not appear in UPESEAT 2023 entrance exam. 

Board: If the candidate wishes to take admitted based on the Board merit, then they need to have passed their matriculation and intermediate with a minimum of 80% marks. 

Age Limit: Candidates who fulfil the age criteria will only be eligible to apply for the exam. All candidates born on or after October 1, 1998, are eligible for admission. So, keep this thing in mind before applying. 

UPESEAT 2023 Exam Pattern

Medium of the Exam: The entrance exam will be conducted only in the English medium. 

Duration of the Exam: The duration of the centre-based and online exams is 3 hours and 2 hours, respectively.

Marking scheme: Every correct answer will be awarded one mark each, and there is no negative marking for any incorrect answer. 

Total Sections: There are broadly four different sections asked in the exam, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and finally General English. Every section is mandatory, and candidates need to attempt each of the sections.

UPESEAT 2023 Admit Card

Hall tickets, or in other words, the admit card, are going to be released for the accepted and approved applicants. It is expected that the admit cards are going to be published from July 2023 on the official website. All the applicants must keep an eye on the latest updates and use their login details, namely their application number, date of birth etc, for downloading the admit cards. 

The admit card and valid ID proof must be carried at the exam hall. After proper frisking, the candidates can enter the exam hall. Some crucial details must be checked on the admit cards, such as the exam venue, name, signature and photograph. The hall tickets must be kept in possession till the counselling process.

UPESEAT 2023 Answer Key

Candidates can calculate their raw scores and get an idea about their selection from the answer key published on the official website. For this year, it is likely to be published in June 2023 after the conducting of the entrance exam.

UPESEAT 2023 Result

Soon after the release of the answer keys, results will also be released. There is a high probability that the results for phase I will be declared from the 1st week of April 2023, while phase 2 will be declared in July 2023. UPESEAT 2023 Counselling

As per the latest sources, counselling will begin in July 2023. UPESEAT conducts centralized counselling based on the UPESEAT examination merit list, class 12th board aggregate marks and finally, the score of JEE Main. 

Those who qualify for the exam will be called for counselling and must carry certain crucial documents to the centre allotted to them for admission to the respective courses. The different stages involved in the counselling process are registration, filling out the college preference, verification of the documents and final payment of the admission fee.
