UPMCAT is referred as the Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test which is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Lucknow. Through this candidates can enter in, two year full time MBA / MMS / MIBM / MMEM / MTM / MCM / MFC management courses. A score of UPMCAT is accepted by various government & private Institution and university departments in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The selection of candidates will be based on the written test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. On the basis of UPMCAT merit ranking, candidates can select programs offered by participating institutes such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Finance Control (MFC), and Post- Graduation Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA).

UPMCAT 2018 Process
UPMCAT application process will be available for the month of Jan 2018. The exact dates of the application will be released by authority later. The exam is probably going to be conducted in the third week of April 2018. Candidates must check full details of the review before applying. A candidate is advised to keep print copies of it for further use. Candidates who are interested in filling application, must fill and apply for their due dates.
To apply for the exam, candidates need to perform the following steps:

- Candidates can also obtain the application form from the Office of the Controller of UPMCAT
UPMCAT 2018 Eligibility
An applicant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria of the exam will face difficulty at the time of admission process. Eligibility criteria are given for UPMCAT read given fill criteria whether you can apply or not. Candidates can apply those who are belonging to Indian nationality, the appearing candidate who has passed qualifying examination from an institution/university (The institution/university should be located in U.P), and candidates in the final year of examination can also apply.
- Admissions are open to Indian Citizen only. Students who have passed the qualifying examination from any discipline institution/university located in the state of U.P. are eligible for admission at all the institutions.
- Those candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from institutions located outside the State of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admission to all the courses at all the institutions and universities inside U.P. (except Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College – MNREC Allahabad, now known called as National Institute of Technology (NIT) Allahabad.
Reservation of seats:
- 20 to 21% seats: Reserved for scheduled caste (SC)
- 2% seats: Reserved for the scheduled tribe (ST)
- 27% seats: Reserved for other backward categories (OBC)
- candidates respectively on all India basis.
Educational Qualification:
- Interested candidate must have three years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC recognized university or board.
- Those candidates who have appeared their final year of graduation but results are awaited, are also eligible to take the Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test 2018 (UPMCAT 2018).
UPMCAT 2018 Pattern
Question asked will be MCQ multiple choice objective questions. Candidates have to complete paper within 2 hours. Question asked in an article will be 100 and the question paper will be of 400 marks.Questions asked will be of four sections Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Abstract Reasoning and General Knowledge.
- UPMCAT 2018 exam paper will consist of multiple choice objective questions
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours
- Candidates will have to attempt 100 questions in the time allotted
- The question paper will be of 400 marks

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The Hall Ticket for UPMCAT will be released three weeks before the exam. Hall ticket is the mandatory documents to enter into examination hall do not forget to carry hall ticket at the examination hall.
If a candidate fails to show Admit card at the time of the exam, then-candidate will not allow attaining an exam. Keep your hall ticket safe because it contains candidates’ related details such as name, seat number, center, etc. All candidates are requested to check all updates & changes info of UPMCAT.
Results
The results of Uttar Pradesh Management common aptitude test will be the issue probably in May 2018. Candidates have to visit the official portal of UPMCAT. To access result page candidates needs to enter ID proof password etc. details.
After accessing result, page candidates can save a page by phone and computer, etc. Keep copies of it for further use. Candidates whose name appears in the merit list will be called for counseling for allotment of seat.
Syllabus
The aim of this exam is to test candidates skill, ability and knowledge. The test aimed at evaluating the verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logical & abstract reasoning and understanding of current affairs. In an exam, Questions asked will be from four sections Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Abstract Reasoning and General Knowledge.
