VEE 2018 Result has been declared on 1st June 2018. VEE counseling for engineering, pharmacy, and management courses will be conducted by authority from the last week of July. The counseling is conducted offline.

VEE 2018 (Vels Entrance Exam) is conducted for the admission in engineering, pharmacy, management, etc. The VEE (Vels entrance exam) is performed at the University level. Candidates who want admission in university campuses have to qualify the VEE (Vels University Entrance Exam) The exam will be conducted on 13th May 2018.

Through this admission is possible in professional degree courses at the University of Vels. Main aim to conduct this exam is to offer admission to candidates into various UG courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy and management and other courses.

VEE Application Form

The application form will be available online on the official portal of VEE. VEE 2018 Application Form has been released on 5th February 2018. Candidate can fill the application form of VEE exams through online on the official portal of the official website of the VEE (Vels University).

The application form can be downloaded from the official website of VEE. Candidates can send the filled application form along with DD (Demand Draft) of Rs. 800/- at the address given below:

Applicants can also fill the form online on the official website of VEE (Vels University). Those who are filling the application form online will have to pay Rs. 900/-. The candidates can make the payment via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. There is no need to send the application form through offline mode. Since the form filled is offline candidates can take a printout of the soft copy of application form for the future reference.

All the candidates are at this moment informed that the candidate could get the application through post. What the candidates have to do is send a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with DD (Demand Draft) of Rs. 550/-.

Again after receiving the application form, candidates have to fill the application form completely and send it along with Demand Draft of Rs. 400/-. The filled application form will be sent to the below-given address.

The candidates can also fill the application form from the office of Vels University (VEE), Chennai. In the offline mode, the candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- in cash on the office counter. Also, candidates can submit the filled form along with the DD of Rs.400/- at the address given below:

The detailed process for online or offline application form is given below:

  • Download the application form and take the printout of it.
  • Candidates must fill the application form in their handwriting.
  • The application form will be available from the first week of May 2018.
  • Candidates are required to fill all details in the application form carefully.
  • Paste recent photograph in the application form.
  • Attach all the required documents like DD, qualifying exam certificates, etc. with the application form.
  • Candidates have to submit the application form at the notified locations (as per centre opted), on specified dates, along with self-attested copies of required documents.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 900/- for online mode. If the candidate is making a payment by the offline mode, then the candidate has to pay Rs. 800/-.  Rs.550/- should be paid by the candidates who are getting the form via offline mode on the post to get the application form, and after filling the form when submitting the form, the candidate must fill the form along with DD of Rs. 400/-.

Also, at the counter of the office to fill the application form the candidate will have to pay Rs. 500/- in cash.

Candidates have to pay the application fee before the due date. Late charged fees will be charged to candidates. Once payment is done, it will not be refunded back to candidates. Candidates can pay the application fees online through different modes. These modes include a credit card/debit card/net banking or bank challan.

Below is given application form fees for VEE exams:

  • The application fee of VEE 2018 will be Rs. 900/- for online application form submission.
  • The application fee of VEE 2018 will be Rs.550/- for requesting the form through post and Rs. 400/- while sending the form.
  • The candidates also have to pay Rs. 500/- in cash while filling the application form on the college campus at the official counter.
  • Candidates have to submit the application fee by making Demand Draft.
  • The late fee will be charged if the candidate will fill the form after the last date of submission of application form.

VEE Eligibility Criteria

Candidate has to check they are eligible for applying or not if the candidate didn’t know about the basic detail they can face difficulty at the time of admission process. Candidate of the Indian citizen or Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders are also eligible to apply. The minimum age of the applying candidate will be 17 and maximum he/she can apply till 25 years of their age.

Before filling the application form candidates can check their VEE exams eligibility criteria Nationality, Age Limit Criteria, Qualification Criteria, etc. given below:

B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM or Biology/Botany or Zoology.
M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) Pass B.Pharmacy.
MBA Pass Bachelor Degree with minimum 50% marks.
MCA Pass Bachelor Degree with Maths at Degree level or 10+2 level.
M.Tech Pass B.E or B.Tech.

VEE Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing VEE exams have to complete their paper in 1 hour 30 min. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete writing. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each item.

In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given one mark. Following detail of VEE exams, pattern and table are given by subject, no. of the question and maximum marks.

  • Language: The question paper will come in English & Hindi language.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Fundamentals of Computing and General knowledge for engineering and for MBA the course is Analytical skill, Language comprehension, Intelligence and critical reasoning, Mathematical skill and Indian & global Environment.
  • Duration: The duration of the entrance examination will be 1 hour 30 min.
  • Type of Question: The question paper type will be objective type consisting of 4 alternative options.
  • Marking Scheme: The candidates will be awarded one marks for every correct answer.

VEE Admit Card

The VEE admit card will be released in the first week of May 2018. Admit card/Hall ticket is the mandatory document which contains detail of candidates like name, roll number, a birth of dates, centre, etc. Candidate can download hall ticket from official portal. Those who have successfully submitted the application can only download admit card from websites.

The admit card will be made available from the first week of May 2018. Its candidate’s responsibility to keep safe their hall ticket till the completion of exams. If candidates didn’t bring hall ticket at time of exams candidate will not allow writing exams.

  • Candidates those successfully submitted the application form can get their admit card.
  • Admit card will be issued to candidates in person after submitting the application.
  • Candidates must produce the “Photo Admit card” for appearing in the examination.
  • It is informed to the candidates to check all details of the exam mentioned on the admit card.

The VEE Admit Card will contain

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Exam Roll Number
  • Exam Centre and Date of examination

VEE Result

VEE exams will be published by the conducted authority through online, official portal.  Candidates can check result from the Mid-May 2018. No individual scorecard will be issued to candidates. The result will be available in pdf format candidates can download and view the result.

Candidates have to keep printed copies of result for verification and registration of admission. To see result candidates have to enter detail in official portal page for correct page type correct detail. If candidates type wrong detail on page website will show error. All the candidates those are shortlisted in the result will get called by the authority for the counselling process.

  • VEE 2018 result will be published in the midweek of May 2018.
  • Candidates those appeared in the examination can check their results via online mode through the website.
  • The individual scorecard will not be given to any candidate.
  • By the result, the merit list will be prepared for providing admission, and then the candidates will be called for the counselling procedure.

VEE 2018 Counselling 

After the result announcement, VEE counseling starts. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form on official website of the VEE or other notified centres and obtain Acknowledgement card with registration number as a proof of form submission. The counseling will be held for different courses like BE, MBA, Law, Pharmacy, and MCA. The counseling will start from the mid-week of the May month and will last until the third week of May.

Admission will be done by candidates score marks in entrance exams. Candidate appearing counseling has to bring all required documents for registration and verification. If candidates have submitted incorrect document candidates admission will be cancelled. Candidates applying for PG courses will also have to face Group discussions, and PI (Personal Interview) and those who are selected should report the University on the given or specified time and date by the University.

The counseling for VEE will be conducted in offline mode.  Applying candidates have to visit the given address by the officials. The candidates those are eligible should fill the choices for the colleges and the required branch. Allotment of the seat depends on the rank of the candidate in the appeared examination and the availability of seats in the preferred university and course. Documents Required:

Candidates have to attend the counselling with the following documents:

  • Mark sheet of H.Sc, +2 or equivalent examination.
  • Mark sheet of std X.
  • Transfer Certificate (from the institution last studied).
  • Community Certificate (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Please come with the first-semester fee. Either as Cash (or) Demand Draft in favour of “Vels University,” Payable at Chennai. Cheques will not be accepted
  • Note that the candidates are requested to keep the two copies of each of the document.

 VEE Cutoff

Candidates have to score above cut-off marks to qualify for Bihar common entrance test. Different courses and college have different cut-off marks.  Candidate will get admission by candidates to score marks the entrance test.

Every year’s college change cut-off marks according to category wise. Cut- off marks of VEE exams is set according to factors like the number of applicants, the number of vacant seats, etc.

Essential Points of BCECE Cutoff.

  • Vels University will determine the minimum scores obtained by the candidates to be considered for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the colleges in Vels University.
  • Vels conducts VEE 2018 and is the competent authority that decides VEE 2018 cutoff marks.
  • VEE cutoff determinants include various factors like candidates’ performance, seat capacity of the respective courses and the college, total number of test takers, a difficulty level of the paper and reservation policy.
