WB 22nd SET 2019 Result has been Declared on 11th July 2020. WB SET stands for West Bengal State Eligibility Test & this exam is conducted by the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC). WB SET is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professors & Lecturers in the Universities in the state of West Bengal.

This exam is conducted across 20 different cities & in 30 various subjects. WB SET consists of MCQ types & it has 3 papers, Paper-I is common for all candidates & paper II & III consist of subjects which candidates have opted-in PG Level.

Candidates can pay the application fee online & offline both.

• Candidates paying fee online mode can pay through debit/credit/net banking.

WB SET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree recognized by U.G.C.

• Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent from universities/institutions recognized by UGC and State Government are eligible for this Test.
• The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.
• Candidates with a reserved category will be 5% relaxation.
• Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the.
• qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this Test.

Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit to apply for WB SET.

Candidates can download the WB SET admit card from the official website. WB SET 2019 Admit Card has been released on 9th December 2019.
