WBJEE JECA 2018 Application Form has been released by the board.WBJEE JECA stands for “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations for admission in Masters of Computer Applications”. This entrance exam is organized by (WBJEEB) West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission to MCA programs for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the State through effective state-of-the-art technology. Candidates can get admission through this exam in MCA courses offered by institutes in West Bengal.

Candidates can get admission into the undergraduate professional and vocational courses in MCA programme various reputed Government/Private institutions spread across West Bengal for academic session 2018-19. Candidates who are interested to apply have to check they are eligible of or not to apply the entrance exams.

The Board will select candidates for admission to the program on the basis of performance in a written test only. The exam will be conducted in June. There is a limited seat available and completion is high.

WBJEE JECA Application Form


Candidates have to fill WB JECA online application form by visiting the Board’s portal at www.wbjeeb.in.Through online mode, the candidate can apply for WB JECA. The application form will be available from the month of May and the last date for submission is June.  Candidate must fill application before the due date if didn’t candidates application will be canceled.

After opening the official link, the candidate needs to navigate Examination < JECA <online application. For online application, submission candidate can follow below steps. Before filling, application form read all detail carefully and upload yours scanned image of the recent photograph.

  • At first, candidates need to register themselves by entering some basic details such as name, date of birth, email id, phone number etc.
  • Now fill the application form with required details as per prescribed format.
  • Candidates are needed to upload scanned copies of their recent photograph, signature, and Mark sheet of 10th class as age proof.
  • For successful application submission, candidates have to pay required amount of application fee.

Application fee payment

The payment of fee can be done either through online or via bank challan. Candidates can pay application fees through online mode like Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking and also can be remitted by any banks.

Once a fee is paid by candidates it will not be refunded back to candidates. Candidates must keep printed copies of filled application form of WB JECA for further needs. Take a look at given Below few points related to application form fees.

Fee payment via online mode:

For online payment candidate can choose Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the fee of Rs. 600 plus service charges. On successful fee payment, candidate will be able to print the “Confirmation Page”.

Fee payment via Bank Challan

The candidate can also choose ‘Offline payment mode’ for the payment of application fee. As soon as you choose the option, ‘e- challan’ will be generated comprising specific details of the candidate along with amount Rs. 600 + service charges to be paid. The applicant has to take a printout of the same for future use.

WBJEE JECA – Eligibility Criteria


Different courses have different criteria. WB JECA a full eligibility criterion is given below read it carefully. And also check whether you are eligible or not to apply for entrance exams. Candidates are requested not to ignore criteria because candidates may suffer afterwards at the time of taking admission.

Candidates should know Nationality, qualification criteria and age criteria etc. Criteria such as candidate should be resident of West Bengal. Candidates appearing in final years or holding certificate of the bachelor degree from any recognized university with Mathematics as the compulsory subject are also eligible to apply.

Following point of eligibility criteria is given below;

  • The candidates from the resident of West Bengal only eligible
  • The candidates should have any bachelor degree from any recognized university with Mathematics as the compulsory subject
  • The final year students also can apply.
  • There is no age limit for this exam

 

Universities and colleges in West Bengal which offer a three year MCA course follow one of the following modules of eligibility criteria:

 

Module 1:

 

  • Aspirants must have passed 3 years bachelor degree programme from a university recognised by UGC
  • They should have secured atleast 60% marks in Honors/Aggregate(45% for SC/ST aspirants) OR
  • Aspirants should have a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from institute/ colleges recognised by All India Institute of Common Entrance Examination (AICTE) with 60 per cent in mathematics at bachelor’s level.

 

Module 2:

 

  • They must have a UGC and/or AICTE recognised bachelor’s degree of 3 years except BBA with mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level.
  • Obtained 50% marks(45% marks for SC/ST/OBA – A/OBC – B candidates) at graduation level.

 

Module 3:

 

  • Aspirants must be a completed graduation or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University / Institute.
  • Aspirants must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education.
  • Aspirants have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/O>BC-B candidates) at each level of education.

 

Module 4:

 

  • Aspirants must have obtained a B.Sc. Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognized University / Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Hons. / Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics.
  • They must secured at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognized Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.
  • Aspirants have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education.

WBJEE JECA– Exam Pattern


Exams pattern is given so candidates will get familiar with all detail of WB JECA exams. The candidate has to prepare for exams from the syllabus. A WB JECA exam is divided into two papers. WB JECA entrance exams are conducted in online mode.

The 1st paper will be Mathematics paper consisting questions of 100 marks.50 multiple type question will be asked to candidates from options select any one. For each correct answer candidates will be given 2 marks and for the wrong answer, ½ marks will be deducted from paper. Candidates have to complete paper within 2 hours.

The 2nd paper will be of Aptitude test of 100 marks. 40 questions will be asked from which 30 questions would be of 3 marks each and rest 10 questions would be of 1 mark each. And 50 MCQ type question will be asked in entrance exams. For incorrect answer, ¼ marks will be deducted from paper. Complete paper within 1 hours.

 

 

JECA consist of two papers

Paper 1 Pattern

  • Paper 1 will be Mathematics paper consisting questions of 100 marks.
  • There will be 50 Multiple Choice questions in total.
  • 2 marks will be given for each correct response in this paper whereas, ½ marks get deducted for each wrong attempt.
  • Exam duration – 2 Hours

Paper 2 Pattern

  • Paper 2 will be an Aptitude test of 100 marks.
  • There will be 40 questions of which 30 questions would be of 3 marks each and rest 10 questions would be of 1 mark each.
  • ¼ marks get deducted against each wrong attempt committed by candidates.
  • Exam duration- One Hour
  • Type of questions will be MCQ type only and it needs to be answer in online mode only.

 

WBJEE JECA  Admit Card


 

Admit cards/ hall ticket will not be sent by any via post, email etc to any candidates residential address. Candidates who successfully submitted their application can only download their admit cards. Admit cards can be download from official portal. Through online mode, candidates can download their hall ticket.

Every applied candidate has to carry their hall ticket and ID proof at the time of examination. If candidates didn’t bring candidates will not allow writing exams. Its candidate’s responsibility to keep safe their hall ticket until the end of exams. Candidate can take print copies of it for further use.

WBJEE JECA Result


 

The result of WB JECA 2018-19 will be available from the mid of June 2018 onward. The WBJEE Board will publish the candidate’s merit list at www.wbjeeb.in. Candidates can check their WB JECA result on online mode. Authority will publish it online mode but no personally result of WB JECA will be sent to any candidates.

After that, if candidates want to safe result page in computer/ laptop or want to take the screenshot of the page from the phone is possible.

WBJEE JECA Syllabus


 

WBJEE JECA Exams is divided into two papers. For 1st paper question will be asked from the given Syllabus of WBJEE JECA subjects such as Algebra, Analytical Geometry, Probability & Statistics, Calculus.

And 2nd paper question will be asked from Problem Solving, Reasoning, Discrete Quantitative Analysis, Quantitative Comparison and Data interpretation. Candidates have to attempt all question without being confuse.

To qualify to apply candidates have to secure good marks in entrance exams. Candidate must prefer text book for studies purpose, Text books are best because most of questions is asked from that.
